Sally's First Impression of Gabe

The first time Sally had seen Gabe, she had been disgusted.

She had seen right through his attempts at hiding the beer bottle behind his back and his downright horrible attempt at being charming. She had almost gagged at the stench that surrounded him.

Gabe had been far from tactful as he had tried to seduce her. Well he had attempted to seduce her.

The man was far from being as seductive, tolerant or thoughtful as Percy's father had been. Sally knew that she had fallen hard for that man.

Poseidon he had explained himself to be. He had explained everything to her once he had realized that she had been pregnant with his child. He had explained that the child she was carrying would be attacked by monsters. He had seemed sad and had apologized profusely for placing all that blame on her.

Sally was glad though that she had been able to keep something that reminded her of Poseidon every day. Percy looked so similar to his father that Sally vowed to protect him with her life and do anything for him.

That included finding the most disgusting human possible to live with them so that he could hide Percy's demigod scent from monsters. Oh how this man disgusted her.

He was fat, drunk and an absolute retard if he was buying her entire act about being engrossed and in love with him. She knew that she was a very bad actress and would probably fail had the man in front of her not been as drunk as he was. She doubted he would notice even if he had not been drunk. She could almost feel her IQ dropping every moment she spent in his presence.

Sally sighed once again.

She would put up with this miserable excuse for a man for as long as she needed to protect Percy.

Once Percy went to Camp Halfblood with all the other demigods, and she knew that he would, she would find a way to get rid of him.
