And So It Begins

Despite how afraid she was, Sigyn slept peacfully that night. It had been a relief to find her old room once again. She rays of sunlight waking her up warmly. For a split second she forgot everything. In that moment she felt at peace with the world, that is, of course, before it all came flooding back.

Today was the day she dreaded. Her stomach twistered and churned as it did the day of her wedding. She got up quickly, finding one of her gowns neatly hanging in the silver coated wardrobe, right where she left them.

She dressed well, it being a formal event, a day that will no doubt go down in history whether it be a good or bad day.

She sat down before the mirror, brushing her almost white locks when suddenly she heard him. "Sigyn!" Loki's voice rang in her ears, scaring her half to death. He opened the door, a stern look on his face.

"Oh dear." She thought to herself as she turned to face him. He too was dressed formally, a golden horned helmet, green cape and just the right amount of amour. He looked even scarier than usual in her eyes. "L-Loki? What-?"

He slammed the door behind him. "What do you think you're doing in here?" He demanded, gesturing around him.

She bit her lip and stood up from her dressing table. "I-It's my room..." She replied quietly. "I-I thought you-"

He scoffed, cutting her off. "No." He snapped. "These are no longer your chambers." He was walking towards her like a predator would its pray. "You thought when I said you were unlikly to see me until today meant that you could simply wander off back here?"

She stumbled a little when he pushed her up against the dresser. "I-I just wanted to see it o-one last time... Is that really so bad?" She asked him.

Loki glared at her, ignoring her question. "You will not return here again."

"But why?" She demanded. "I-It's just a room."

He grabbed her chin. "A room which no longer belongs to you."

Loki was angry for the strangest reasons sometimes. She did not understand what she had done wrong until she did. The realisation came flooding in. A room she loved, with a perfect view of the sky, memories of her life before it all went sideways. A life before Loki owned her. This was a place she owned that he never did. It was hers, and for some reason, he hated that.

Nothing could go wrong today, one slip up and it was over. "I'm sorry." She stated. "I-It won't happen again."

Loki raised an eyebrow, shocked at her responce, then he simply frowned, as though he had wanted to get into a fight. "Make sure it doesn't." He growled, and as she fliched when he rose his hand she closed her eyes. As they opened they were inside Loki's chambers.

"It'll be starting soon." He sneered, letting her sit on the bed as he crouched down to her level. "I hope I don't need to remind you what will happen should anything go wrong?" Sigyn shook her head quickly in response. "Good... You look ravishing by the way. If all goes well, I may treat you this evening."

She looked up at this, unsure if she should be thankful or afraid. What treat? "Thank you." Was all she said.

He grinned demonically. "Don't thank me yet, little one." He caressed her cheek before gently pecking her lips with his. At that moment a horn sounded from the great hall, indicating the start of Thor's corination. Loki grinned wickedly. "And so it begins."
