AN: So here is the final chapter in 'Nobody's Fault'. It sure has been a tremendous experience and I'm glad so many people liked my story and stayed with me through the busy months.

Hope you enjoy and have a great summer!

Ch. 44 Epilogue

I fold the last t-shirt and put it in my suitcase before shutting it and zipping it closed. This summer has been the best I can ever remember experiencing, well after finishing up my missed exams. After writing my final exam and being told I graduated I called Klaus and asked him if he wanted to go to Florida with me to see Renee and Phil.

We spent all of July with Renee and Phil, just catching up and relaxing before going to university in New Orleans in the fall. Of course, Klaus was with me and was the perfect gentlemen to Renee and Phil. A few days after we arrived, Renee had pulled me aside and told me that she was glad I was so happy, especially after the whole Edward disaster. I had just smiled at her and replied that it was nice to be happy now.

But eventually we had to leave Florida and its tremendous heat and came to Washington to stay with Charlie for my last month before school started.

I expected Charlie to be cold and distant to Klaus for the entire month but after a few days, Charlie slowly opened up to Klaus. I think after Charlie saw how close we were and how much we loved each other, he relaxed. I think he was just worried I was dating another Edward and didn't want me to get hurt which is very sweet.

I sigh audibly as I look around the room that had been my space for almost a year. The bed spread is still the dark purple color and my ancient computer still hogs most of my desk to itself but I am really going to miss it all. This was room represents all that I have gone through since moving to Forks. But now it is time to create new memories in a new town without the past clouding them.

My door creaks open and I look over my shoulder to see beautiful blue eyes looking at me. I smile at him and he walks over to me to kiss me quickly before reaching behind me to grab the suitcase off my bed. "Are you ready, darling?"

My smile grows larger and I nod, "Yes, I'm most definitely ready."

Klaus gives me another quick kiss and then leads the way down the stairs and stops in front of Charlie. "Thank you for having me Charlie, it was very generous of you and I'm glad to have gotten to know you over this last month." Klaus smooth talks Charlie and Charlie quickly nods his agreement before turning to me.

"Dad, I promise to call you twice a week and I promise to take my pepper spray with me wherever I go." I rattle off automatically, already knowing what he is going to say.

Charlie shakes his head slowly with a little smirk. "No, Bella, I wasn't going to say that but it's a good point." He steps forward and pulls me into a hug and kisses me gently on the forhead. "Have fun but make sure you study kiddo. I love you."

Charlie's simple words cause tears to form in my eyes and I rapidly blink to hold them off. "I love you too dad."

After I pull away and discreetly wipe my eyes, I grab Klaus' hand and with a last wave to Charlie, Klaus pulls me out of the house and to his car. He puts my suitcase in the back while I settle myself in the passenger seat.

"Alright, off we go." Klaus says and I grab hold of one of his hands tightly.

He looks at me and I smile up at him, "That's exactly what I wanted to hear."

Klaus smiles back at me and pulls out of Charlie's driveway, turning immediately south on the freeway to head to New Orleans and our future.
