Welcome to College

Finding Home Again

*Takes in deep breath and lets it out slowly* So, this shall be my last chapter of this story 'Welcome to College'. I understand a lot of it was, well, scatterbrained, but I enjoyed writing it and am excited to start on the sequel! I hope this isn't a too abrupt ending for you all, but it was the best I could come up with since my brain couldn't think of anything better to write. With that, ENLJOY!

Wednesday: 1800 hours, DE'ANDRA DELTA SORORITY HOUSE

The house was exceptionally quiet, either the girls were finishing up their classes for the day, busy at work, or just sitting around the house, it didn't change the fact that the house itself seemed different in a way. The truth of the matter was that their leader Arcee had gone missing. They all knew she had a date with Optimus on saturday and that night when she didn't come back they assumed that she had stayed with him. But when it passed Sunday night they got worried, and now it was beginning to end on the fourth day of her disappearance. The door opened and loads of feet walked through before it shut again.

"Any updates." Jade asked turning her head to see Queenie, MoonForest and the Star Sisters standing there.

"No." StarDust said letting out a long overdue sigh.

"We searched, asked and went everywhere, no sign of her." StarLight added as she leaned down and pet Duchess gaining all the dogs affection. Jade sighed also and looked back to her computer, she had shared it with Arcee and was currently looking up any past information that could help them find where she went. Of course she had done this already but she wanted to make sure she hadn't missed anything.

The house went on with its quietness and all the girls, whether part of the sorority or not went on searching for their friend and leader. The doorbell rang and Aqua, who was closest, opened it to reveal their enemy.

"Brittnianne." She said through clenched teeth and the other Delta's walked up behind her.

"Oh hey Delta's, I just wanted to see how you were doing. You know with a certain persons disappearance and all." She said smirking a bit and the triplets had to hold Aquanette back from grabbing for the girls neck.

"Brittnianne if you know where she is I suggest that you give up her location now." Jade said taking over her original leadership position.

"I might, I might not." The blonde haired girl answered checking her nails.

"You will or I will personally see to your demise." Queenie said

"Aww, blind girls gonna chase after me with her cane." Queenie was also held back by MoonForest and Jade who were glaring at the Alpha Leader.

"Just thought I'd come by and check up on your useless searches. Oh and to tell you, Star's view hill at 10." She laughed and walked away with her group. Aquanette was let go but she wasn't going to let the girls get free. She pulled a small paint grenade from her belt and threw it at the rival team. They screamed as they were covered in black and the Delta's high-fived each other.

"Small trick Jackie taught me."

"Ooohhh, someones in loooovvveee."

"Pft, am not." She said waving her hand at the girls and they nodded sarcastically. silence passed around the large group of girls before one of them spoke up.

"What did she mean but Star's view hill at 10?" MoonForest asked scratching her head.

"Maybe a meeting place, I dunno?" Jade answered also confused.

"Either way, they might be there, and if we go we can really show them what we're made of." StarShadow said punching her fist to her hand and her sisters set a hand on each of her shoulders while nodding their heads.

"I agree, those girls need to be shown who's better." Aqua said tossing up a grenade and catching it every few seconds.

"Ya, no one says I have a cane, no one." Queenie said folding her arms. Shelbi walked up holding a few books and gently squeezed herself through the crowd.

"We all know Arcee was a fighting leader, but she wouldn't want us to put people in harms way, especially if it was us inflicting the harm." Shelbi started.

"Shelbi's right, inflicting harm on the girls would be going against what Arcee had taught us. We shouldn't hurt those who hurt us because we would be stooping down to their level... Maybe the Alphas had something to do with her disappearance and are going to bring her to the hill." Nods went around as the girls looked at each other. After a few minutes of complete silence they all broke off into their own groups or selves and did what they wanted or needed to do.

Wednesday: 2000 hours, AUTOBOT FRATERNITY HOUSE,

Ratchet knew something was off with Optimus. He may not of been able to put a finger on it, but he knew when his leader was distraught about something. He looked tired and worn out, ever since saturday he had changed into some type of person who didn't care for sleep. And even when he had finally gotten to sleep the past few nights night he had heard him talking in it. The medic couldn't quite make out the words but the expression told him him or someone else was in trouble. Thunking and banging came from the stairs and he walked from the kitchen just in time to see Optimus stumbling down. His eyes were dark underneath telling him that he had probably only gotten an hour or less of sleep. He was mumbling under his breath as he made his way over to the couch. Ratchet walked up to him and folded his arms.

"Mind telling me what's going on?" He asked in a superior tone and Optimus looked up to him.

"Why would you ask that Old Friend?" He asked back most likely trying to avoid the question and Ratchet flared his hands making Optimus look down at himself. "I seem to be fine."

"Well you're clothes do, but Optimus, you've been acting weirdly since yesterday."

"How so?"

"You've been mumbling under your breath, barely sleeping the past couple nights, acting like your fine when your clearly not, must I continue?"

"No." Ratchet sat down in the chair across from the sofa.

"I want answers." Optimus sighed and looked away before locking eyes with Ratchet. They had been good friends for a lengthy amount of time, and even at times Ratchet would be more of a father than a friend. So why couldn't he just tell him what happened, was it because he had failed Arcee, or was it because he had failed at being a leader and protecting her? He sighed again and opened his mouth to speak, but it shut again when the doorbell rang. The prime got up and answered it to see someone he never wanted to even hear again.

"Optimus, good to see you." Brittnianne said flipping her hair back. "About saturday night, I forgive you, and would at any time want to try a solid relationship with you." Optimus tried to shut the door but her foot blocked him from doing so. She used her small hand to pry the door back open and look him in the eyes, she was trying for the innocent look, but she couldn't pull it off. "Look, I know it must've been hard for you, but I'm here if you need me." She could see the weariness in his eyes and was trying to play him. "But to be on topic, I came to tell you to meet at the hill at 10." She flipped the other side of her hair so it all dangled on her back before smiling sweetly. "I do hope to see you there." Her foot moved and Optimus shut it not wanting to hear another word from her. When he sat back down Ratchet was starring at him, confusion filling his face.

"I would like to know what that was about." Optimus rubbed the back of his neck and closed his eyes before speaking.

"Well as you know me and Arcee went on a date on Saturday." Ratchet nodded his head beckoning for him to continue. If he was right this was not going to be the easiest explanation for his fellow friend and family member.

Wednesday: 2000 hours, Arcee, Unknown Location,

Arcee banged agains the metal door as hard as she could. She was angered, tired, hungry, thirsty and was about to ring the neck of anyone who stepped in her path of freedom. Her fists were beginning to hurt from all the banging she was doing but she could care less, right now she wanted to go back to her home, her real home, back in her universe.

After what felt like a few more hours of banging she settled down and rested her back against the door.

"Idiots." She said beneath her clenched teeth. "When I get my hands on that pretty face Brittnianne's neck I am going to wring every living particle of life out of her." She grasped her hands together and shook them violently. Arcee knew she was being, as what Optimus would say, irrational, but she could care less at the moment, in fact, if she did end up strangling someone she really wouldn't feel any remorse for them. She shifted in her spot and tried to get as comfortable as she could.

Sitting on the cement ground she started to think, in fact it was the first time in a very long time she had actually had pure silence to think. Her mind wandered to Cybertron and to her home there, it was a nice one, a normal family of the middle caste, a few friends from both caste's, in fact when she had been in the teen years a friend from the upper caste had taken her to six lasers. It had been the best day she had ever had with her friend.
Arcee smiled and settled agains the metal door. It was starting to rain and it made clinking sounds every time it hit the exterior of the place she was in, making her mind go back to thinking.
She remembered the times Cybertron would get acid rain, everyone was told to stay indoors and not come out until it was deemed safe. Her and her siblings would sit at the large window and watch the rain fall, granted it was scary at times knowing that one step out and she could be damages this way and that, but it was amazing to see the rain glisten off of the lights of Cybertron and fall to the ground splashing in the puddles it made. She would tell her siblings made up stories of how their sire had disobeyed his parents one time and dance in the rain, that was why he had all the scars on his body. When in reality he was just a factory worker who could never seem to get out of the way of the newly built machines. Her smile grew larger, when they got back she really had to take time off to just think, it was actually quite nice.

Her thoughts were disrupted when the large door started to move. Trying not to fall back she moved and stood up from her sitting position. Turning around she saw the whole pack of Decepticons, whether on motorcycles or in the sports car. Arcee folded her arms and huffed. She could see that there were a few more people in the group, two of them being ThunderBlaster and NightWarp, guess she now knew you couldn't trust everyone who was kind to her.

"Come to take me away from here." There was no answer, instead SoundWave walked up to her with a rope and she waved him off. "I'll come peacefully if that means I get out of here." Walked towards the car she got in the back and buckled in. "Well what are you all waiting for, don't you have somewhere to take me?" She settled against the upholstery and folded her arms, the faster she got done with their pathetic scheme of trying to get information the better she was going to be. Something moved from behind her back and and she sat up to see a cat trying to get from the now tight space. When it did get free it hissed at her and settled down a ways away from her. She rolled her eyes and folded her arms.

"Stupid feline."

Wednesday: 2130 hours, Decepticons, Unknown Location,

The men looked between each other baffled, she didn't seem to care anymore that they had kidnapped her and stashed her in a secluded warehouse, in fact, she didn't seem to care about anything right now.

"Well what are you all waiting for, don't you have somewhere to take me?" She asked and the men snapped out of their mild shock. Everyone climbed onto their respected vehicles and drove off towards their preplanned location.

Once where they intended to go they all got out and Arcee swatted away anyone who tried to force her out of the vehicle she was in. But once she got out she was forcefully held down by ShockWave. Megatron looked over his shoulder to see the Alphas walking their way, Arcee had seen them out of the corner of her eye and glared at the blonde haired girl the whole time, once in a while fighting to get out of the strong grasp.

"Arcee tsk-tsk, look at the bind you have gotten yourself into." Brittnianne said walking up to her rival. "My plan for having you kidnapped failed, but maybe you might get killed tonight, eh, we'll see." Arcee jerked her head forward smashing her forehead against Brittniannes causing the girl to stumble. Some of the Decepticons had to stifle themselves from laughing at the blonde girls predicament.

"Go die in a hole." Brittnianne sneered and stuck her nose into the air allowing ShockWave to move past her and up the slightly steep hill. Once they were up there they noticed that the Autobots and Delta's were coming up as well.

"We're here Megatron, what could you possibly want to know that is so important." Optimus said standing still on the other side of the hill, a large Great Dane and a smaller poodle barked in accordance with him.

While the Autobot's and Delta's had made there way there Optimus had, more or less Ratchet had, debriefed everyone of what had happened. They were all confused as to why the man would kidnap her for information that would be of no big use to anyone, unless she was just bait for them all to come and gather here. At this time they really didn't know.

Megatron stood silently on the hill, he spoke no words and he wasn't going to. He had gotten Arcee just as, what the others had probably figured by now, bait. He had a hunch of something and he wanted to test it, but first he had to get everyone in the same place.

"I merely wanted some answers."

"What could I possibly tell you Megatron, I know as much as you do about this place."

"I know, I didn't say I wanted answers from you." The prime raised a brow at the Decepticon leader. "Let her go." He waved at ShockWave and he did as he was told. Arcee rubbed her arms and made it back to her sorority. Once she got back they were bent on leaving but were stopped by a voice. "I think you might want to see this." Arcee looked back to see something forming out of thin air and her eyes widened.

Wednesday: 2200 hours, Autobot Base,

Raf, once again, had fallen asleep at his computer trying to re-find their lost families coordinates. Jack was up in his cot trying to work a few things out with his mom, since she had found out what they were doing, she wanted to stop them, but knew that even if she did they would just start over again. Miko was playing her guitar trying to keep herself from breaking down in front of the others, she may of been acting strong, but everyone around her could see right through it.

A loud, obnoxious beeping sound came from Raf's computer and he jerked up to see the small light blinking again, albeit in a different location. He adjusted his glasses and starred hard at the screen trying to get his brain wrapped around what was happening, he had been out for a solid three hours and was trying to wake up.

Feet clambered down the steps and Jack, Miko, June, and Fowler all tumbled into the small room to see the same thing.

"Could it be?" June asked looking to Fowler who shrugged, he really didn't know much about computers as Raf did.

"What's happening Raf, have they been found again!?" Miko asked hope rising in her voice.

"I don't know, this thing has already showed two false alarms, for all we know this could be another." He stated trying not to build up his friends hopes to high, they already went through a mess like that and they didn't want it to happen again.

"But still, it happened once couldn't it happen again?" Jack said.

"It could, but last time was on such a small scale they couldn't get through, we don't know if this time would be the same." Silence passed through the group of humans and they could feel the weight upon them getting heavier. They all waited for anything to happen, but nothing did, and the dot faded away. Miko was on the verge of balling, Jack couldn't lift the frown from his face, Raf wanted to just curl up into a ball, June didn't know what to do, for herself or the kids, and Fowler just stayed silent letting the sadness flow over him like a waterfall.

A light fuzzing sound came from the upper area and everyone turned their heads.

"It's probably just the pentagon calling in on any new results." Fowler said and the others nodded. He pressed a button clearing the call so they could hear each other.

{This is Special Agent William Fowler.} The agent stated and a voice, they never thought would be heard again, broke through the line.

{Agent Fowler, this is Optimus Prime... I am requesting a ground-bridge from our coordinates.} Everyone perked up and bolted to the rec. area, the closest they could get to the communications central.

{Well are you going to send a bridge or not} Bulkheads voice said over the line and Miko practically jumped all the way to the ceiling. The humans looked to Raf and he jerked open his computer, after typing in a few coordinates the familiar green swirling light showed up and one by one silhouettes of bodies started to show through. When the ground-bridge closed back up there stood the humans previous allies, every single last one, plus two new comrades that looked like the cybertronian's version of dogs.

"Did we miss much?" Optimus said breaking the awing silence.
