Hogwarts wasn't the same after its rebuilding. It wasn't just the stonework of the castle that was different, it was the people. The war had changed them. Everyone was rebuilding themselves after what happened. The halls had been silenter lately. The students weighed down by what they had to do under Voldemort's rule. They tried to piece themselves back together.

They could rebuild. But they could never go back to what they had before.
