Authors Note . Chapter Zero

Hello again, old friends. I wonder how many of you have seen this story suddenly pop up in your inboxes once again, only to remember it was first published now over five years ago. I can barely remember five years ago, but here I am, writing this story from scratch once again.

I started Harry Potter The Dalek Who lived back when I was 16 years old, now I'm 21. A lot has changed in that time. I'd like to think my prose and narrative voice have both evolved somewhat, more refined. I've been at university studying Journalism for the last three years, so if I haven't learnt how to tell a good story by now I think I might be in some degree of trouble.

I haven't written, or even read, Fanfiction for the better part of a year if not longer. Then I started reading a Harry Potter / Avengers crossover called "Heroes Assemble!" and I suppose you could say it inspired me quite a bit. Well, that and Thirteen has come along and made me all excited for Doctor Who again. I had planned to start writing this again right back when the latest season of Doctor Who started, but I first realised that I had to get my plan in order.

Never done a plan when writing before, just sort of winged it, but here I am with a plan. A full "Season" of stories, 13 in total, each told in a series of 12 or so chapters. Some of these stories will be taken directly from Doctor Who itself, extrapolated and rewritten in a similar way to the recent novelizations of Doctor Who episodes. Others will be my own original stories. By the end of the season we'll see how things are going, and if the hype is running high with myself and the demand is there from the readers, I will be sure to continue the story of The Doctor and Harry.

Episode 13 - The Name of The Doctor - Planet Future

That is the current episode list of stories yet to come! The first three storylines are basically the same as what was in the first edition of this fanfic, but I will be rewriting them each thoroughly. The rest is new ground to tread, ground that I am very much looking forward to treading with you all.
