Headcannons used: Carley survived

Lilly saved Carley

Cutting off Lee's arm worked

Carley fiddled with the cloth that served as a kind of eye patch.

"Stop that." Lilly said from the drivers seat, slapping Carley's hand away from the eye patch. "You're going to make it worse."

"Sorry, it's bugging me." Carley leaned on the passenger door, looking out of the window. "How far now?"

"We've driven about half a kilometer since you last asked me, Carley." Lilly said, sighing. The sun was coming up slowly over the horizon and Lilly could see more and more of the road appearing before her. Carley sighed and leaned her head against the window.

"Sorry." Carley perked up, looking around at the slowly appearing lit up landscape. "Hey, have we been here before?" Lilly looked at the road, raising an eyebrow, before quickly raising the other.

"No." Lilly said, a little too quickly.

"No, I'm sure we have. I recognize this place." Carley turned her head to look at Lilly, which was hard due to the fact she couldn't see out of her left eye, and Carley was sat to her left.

"This place all looks the same." Carley looked back and down at Lilly's answer, trying to figure out where she had seen this place before. Lilly looked over to Carley, internally hitting herself. Of course she knew this place, it was where she shot Carley, but she didn't want to have Carley re-living it.

"Walkers!" Carley shouted, pointing to the left side of the road. About 50 feet from them, Lilly saw the walkers. She slammed on the breaks and the RV skidded to a halt. "Why did you stop?" The truth was Lilly stopped because the walkers were in the exact same place she shot Carley. A few meters from them was the walker in half. And the two walkers looked familiar. Their clothes were almost died red, but she was saw she had seen them before.

"Carley, wait here." Lilly undid her seatbelt and stood up, grabbing her gun.

"Where are you going?!" Carley asked, undoing her seatbelt too.

"I said stay here. I have to check this out." Lilly placed one final look towards the short-haired girl and the one-armed bearded man, heading out of the RV, closing the door before Carley could follow her out. "Hey!"

The man looked up from his seated position and faced Lilly. Although it was hard to tell, Lilly knew exactly who this was.

"Lilly?" Lee asked, standing up. Lilly broke out with a smile and walked towards Lee, putting her gun down. From back in the RV, Carley watched out of the windshield, wondering what the hell Lilly was doing.

"Lee… thank god." Lilly was now next to Clem, who was still sat down, looking up and Lee and Lilly. Without warning, Lee grabbed Lilly's neck and forced her up against a tree.

Lee grunted in hate.

Lilly gasped in pain.

Clem gasped in shock.

Carley gasped in horror.

In the RV, Carley grabbed at gun off the side. Not her favourite, but it was a gun nonetheless.

"Lee…" Carley started, but the jolt she got through her back hurt her and she stopped.

"What did you do?! Where is she?!" Lee yelled, shouting in Lilly's face. Clem watched in horror, both wanting to stop Lee, but also not wanting him too. Lee spoke a lot about Carley, and this hurt him, to not find her body.

"She-" Lilly started, but was once again stopped.

"Put her down!" A woman yelled from behind Lee. "I will shoot!" Lee threw Lilly to the ground and reached for his gun, turning around, whipping the gun out.

"…Lee?"

"…Carley?"

"…My gun?"

"…You're alive?"

"…Your hand?"

"…Your eye?"

The two dropped their guns and ran towards each other, wrapping their arms around the other. Lilly brushed herself off and stood back up, looking at the two.

"I missed you." They both said, at the same time. The two broken zombie hunters never wanted to let go of the other.
