Ay guys, I'm back. Again. I'm just going to stop trying to put deadlines for myself because shit happens and I'm always super late.

I have one important thing to say though: the last chapter ended with Meg going into the bathroom. That changes in this one, sorry for any confusion but I had a better idea.

Meg POV:

"MEG." I jumped at the sound of Jo's voice. Because honestly, she was the last person I expected to be knocking on my door right now. I stared at the door warily, wondering what she wanted, or if I even wanted to know. "Meg, let me in, please? I'm sorry about the other night, OK?" Wait... She was apologizing?! I heaved a sigh and went over to the door. "I don't know what I..." When I opened the door she trailed off and stared at me like she hadn't actually expected me to open it. After a few seconds of silence I realized I should say something. "I forgive you." Almost as soon as the words were out of my mouth, Jo's arms wrapped around me and she pulled me into her.

I stood there like an idiot for a second before actually hugging her back. 'God, I missed her...' I buried my face in the crook of her neck and breathed in her scent. Iron, gunpowder, and blood. That's what Jo smells like. Just as I started to think that I never wanted her to let go, she did. She backed away a little bit and looked away from me. When she did I noticed her cheek had been bandaged, or at least, someone attempted to bandage it. I frowned and placed my hand on her cheek. "Did you do this?" I asked. She stared at me blankly and I was about to repeat myself when she nodded.

With a sigh I grabbed her hand and headed for her room. 'What would this girl do without me?' I thought, not for the first time, and it probably wouldn't be the last. We reached her room and I motioned towards the bed and went to go get the supplies. I took down a box off the shelf in the bathroom and pulled out a gauze square, making sure to put antibiotic cream on it before returning to Jo. I sat down beside her and she turned to face me. I carefully pulled the sloppy bandage from her face. "Jo, you're hopeless." I mumbled, the placing the new bandage on the cut. Thankfully it didn't look deep enough for stitches. I applied some medical tape to keep the bandage in place.

I looked away from Jo's cheek and to her eyes, and was suddenly very aware of how close we were. She was staring at my lips. As if she realized what she was doing, she looked up and her eyes met mine. Neither of us moved. 'Why was she staring at my lips? And whats with that expression? What am I to you, Jo?' I couldn't take it. I needed to know. "Jo..." "Yes?" She asked, but her voiced sounded strained. I took a deep breath and opened my mouth, but before I could make a sound, Amy burst in.

"Hey, Jo, Sei wants to know if you want- oh. Oh wow, I am so sorry.." We quickly jumped away from each other, though I'm not sure why. We weren't even doing anything. Judging by Amy's expression though, she probably thought otherwise. "What?" Jo snapped, and I raised an eyebrow at how angry she sounded. I wondered if it was because of me or Amy...

"Um... Sei wants to know if you guys wanted to go out with her tonight... Kyo's going to "babysit" me because apparently I'm "not old enough" to go." 'No, she doesn't want to go. Can't you see we are trying to have a discussion?!' "Yea, I'll go." Jo sighed, and I glared daggers at the little brat in the doorway for ruining the moment. "I guess I'll come as well." I said shortly, and Amy left with a small "ok". That's right. Bitch better be scared.

I sighed and stood up. The moment was gone, and it was probably for the best. I wasn't sure if I wanted to hear Jo's answer. "Well, we better get ready." I rummaged through the dresser until I found a suitable outfit. I started to head for the bathroom to change but stopped. 'I used to always change in front of Jo. We made up, so things should go back to normal, right?' OK, maybe I just wanted to take my clothes off in front of her, but you know, minor details...

I looked over at Jo to see she had lain down and was staring at the ceiling. 'Well, her loss I guess... '

Jo's POV:

Meg stood up and started rummaging through the dresser. I just flopped back on the bed, I was fine in what I was wearing. I never understood why her and Sei were always changing clothes. What was the point? I glanced over at Meg, who was completely naked at the moment, her back towards me. I looked back at the ceiling and- my eyes darted back to Meg, roaming her body from her shoulders all the way to her feet. Following every curve. I didn't understand it. I'd seen her naked plenty of times, but this... It felt different. My body felt hot all over, and I wanted to touch her. I almost got up and did just that, but I stopped myself. 'What is wrong with me?' I tore my eyes away from her and stared at the ceiling, trying not to look back at Meg. I failed several times.

I was strangely dissapointed when she was finally dressed. She sure took her sweet time though. 'I wonder if she knew I was watching her.' I shook my head. It didn't matter, why would she even care? I sighed as I followed her out to Sei's car. When she bent down to climb in, my eyes slid down to her ass. I groaned inwardly and climbed in after her. 'I have a feeling it's going to be a long night...'

We were at some sort of club, and I leaned against the bar as Sei and Meg danced. I sighed and closed my eyes. I was starting to develop a headache. The music was so loud I could feel it in my chest, and the lights were flashing so rapidly it was hard to see anything. We had only been here about twenty minutes. "You look like you could use a drink." I opened my eyes to see a small blond woman smiling at me. I just shrugged. She nodded and ordered four shots. I raised an eyebrow, but still didn't say anything.

She laughed and flashed another smile at me. "You seem surprised for someone as attractive as yourself... I take it this isn't really your scene?" I laughed at that. "You could say that." The bartender placed four shot glasses on the counter in front of us and poured a clear liquid into each of them. The girl picked two up and handed one to me. I cautiously took it, and waited for her to throw her head back and down hers before I did the same. The liquid burned the back of my throat and made me want to gag. I didn't drink much, I didn't like the way it clouded my mind. When you have my job, you need to stay sharp.

I grimaced and set the glass down, causing her to laugh again. "I'm going to guess you don't drink much either?" I shook my head. "Not really." She nodded and downed her other shot. "You going to drink that then, because I will if you don't want it." I picked it up and smiled at her. If I got a free drink, I was drinking it. This one went down easier than the last one. I could already feel my head swimming. "Let's dance!" Before I could object, I was being dragged to the dance floor.

Megs POV:

I was already slightly drunk, but that didn't stop me from going back to the bar for more. Plus I needed to drag Jo's ass out there to dance with me. She couldn't stay up there all night. I pushed my way through the throng of people and up to the bar.

When I finally pushed my way up to the bar, there was no sign of Jo. I frowned and turned around, now more worried about finding her than drinks. I scanned the dance floor carefully. Just as I was about to give up and check the bathrooms, I saw her. I started to make my way over to her then stopped. Some blond bitch was all over her, and she actually seemed to be enjoying it. 'Oh hell no. Get the fuck away from my girl.'

I stormed up to them and grabbed Jo's arm, pulling her to me. "There you are, babe! I was looking everywhere." She smiled broadly and stumbled forward a bit, and I caught her. "Are you drunk?" I asked in disbelief, turning to glare at the bitch. "I bought her a few drinks, I didn't know she had a girlfriend. Sorry." She said, raising her hands defensively. "Well she does." I snapped, grabbing Jo's hand and pulling her away.

We got a few feet before Jo stopped walking, and I turned around to see her staring at me with a confused look on her face."What?" I asked, and she shifted uncomfortably. "Why did you say you were my girlfriend?" She asked quietly. "To get that chick off of you." I stated. She just shook her head. "Well, I know that, but... Why?"

I dropped her hand, suddenly feeling guilty. I had no right to do that. Jo was having fun, and I had ruined it. "I'm sorry..." I said quietly. "I was just jealous I guess. You can go find your friend. I'm going to go get a drink." I turned away and headed for the bar, but was stopped by Jo grabbing my hand and lacing her fingers with mine. I gave her a questioning look. "It wouldn't be very nice of me to leave my girlfriend alone." She said, grinning like an idiot. I just laughed and pushed her playfully. "You really are drunk. How much did you drink?"

She looked thoughtful for a second and shook her head. "I really don't know. She kept dragging me back to the bar and I just stopped keeping track." I bust out laughing as we started walking back towards the bar. "Well someone was trying to get in your pants." She just shrugged as we sat down at the bar. "Doesn't matter, she wouldn't have gotten there. Ever." She said as I ordered myself a drink. "Is there even anyone who would ever get there with you?" I said, laughing. I meant it as a joke but she just frowned. The bartender set my drink down in front of me and I picked it up and took a sip.

"Can I get one of those?" I almost choked on my drink when I heard Jo speak. The bartender nodded and walked off. "Aren't you drunk enough already?" I asked. "So? I have tomorrow off and Sei's driving." I guess she was right. Still, I hadn't ever seen Jo drunk before. There's a first time for everything. I finished off my drink and stood up. "You wanna dance?" I looked down to see her chugging her own drink. When the glass was empty she set it down and nodded, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand. "Let's dance!" She half yelled as she stumbled upwards out of her chair and dragged me back to the dance floor.
