You! You complain about my power?! This is not even my final form!

Of course I am 'over-powered'! I am the great and powerful Meta Knight! It is in my title, you fools! Interesting fact... (for your puny minds, that is) Pichu, Mewtwo, and Dr. Mario were originally going to appear in Brawl. But, then my sexy Spanish accent ate them! (Not Roy, however. That glorious hero is too much of a challenge for even me.)

My face is on a war ship! My cape is bat wings! Do you honestly expect me to be kind to my foes?! Of course not! If I were to have it my way... every character would be overpowered on my level! King Dedede's Hammer would explode faces! Kirby would grow fists! Mario's great balls of fire would burn down small villages! Wario's burps... nuking entire countries!

... Sandbag would be able to punch something!

By fighting so hard... I demand excellence from my foes, or they can taste the sting of my sword and the sharp blade of defeat! That is why, I am so... 'over powered'.

I don't... see Meta Knight the same way the fandom does. I don't think he's a moral individual... he fights small creatures, completely assaulting them, to try to make them fight better, and is a huge narcissist. Who puts his face on a ship?

So, it seems as if people really didn't like the last chapter... sucks, I enjoyed writing it.

Okay, I hate to be disappointing my readers, but... I'm pretty burned out, with this story. You may have noticed that I've gone a week without updating. That's because I'm working on a ton of new fics, in several different fandoms. I'm getting really busy with my writing, not to mention school. So, Dear Fan Fiction is going on a temporary hiatus. That doesn't mean I'll stop updating in general... it just means that I'm going to be updating less frequently.

In other news, guest chapters are extremely welcome. If you have a letter you want to be published in the series, just shoot me a PM.

Some of you, some very few of you, may want to read the stories that are causing this hiatus! I'm writing several new fics; the most notable ones currently are Smash Auditions, a story taking place in the same basic universe as Dear Fan Fiction, where characters audition for a role in the fourth Smash Bros. game... it's already up, so, check it out. It includes appearances from fan favorites, such as Roy, Miyamotomon, Wolf, and Tabuu!

The second is Battle Games, which combines the universes of The Hunger Games and Battle Royale. It's been mentioned earlier in this fic, and- shockingly- it turns out some people are actually looking forward to it! I'm currently making a 'student list', and laying out some of the world building for this world. A small series that details some backstory and world building for this fic will be released, tentatively called Battle Games- Survival of the Fittest.
