"What the fuck happened here?" Sam yelled.

I shook my head, still trying to pull myself together after what just happened. I looked around at the pack and took in all of their expressions: concern, anger, fear..

"Shit.." I shut my eyes tight, feeling the guilt wash over me. "I couldn't protect her."

"Jacob, what happened?" Paul questioned, voice firm, taking a step closer.

"The Mictian.. It came right when she fell asleep and.. I did everything I could, I swear! I-It over powered me and took her away." I placed my hands on top of my head, trying to calm my heavy breathing.

"Calm down, Jacob. It'll be alright." Sam said, face straight.

"How the hell is it gonna be alright?!" I snapped. "She's gone and we don't know where the hell she could be! Or if we'll even make it in time to save her!"

"Jacob!" Paul stepped closer to me, face right in front of mine. I noticed that he was shaking as bad as I was. "That is no way to talk about this situation."

"Yeah, Paul's right." Jared said, joining in on the conversation.

"We gotta look on the bright side." Embry nodded.

"If there even is one.." Quil whispered, earning glares and growls from almost everyone in the room. "Hey, I'm just saying!" He raised his hands up in defense.

"So what do we do now?" Seth asked, looking up at Sam.

"We do whatever we can to find her."

The pack all nods in agreement, some more enthusiastic than others..

I shifted back into human form and pulled on my shorts. A sigh escaped my lips before I decided on walking up to the Cullen's house.

I didn't even need to get up to the porch before the door was swung open by Jasper, who had been followed out by Edward and Bella.

I ran my hand furiously through my hair before taking a deep breath. I looked up at them and explained everything.

"What? What do you mean gone? We have to find her!" Jasper yelled, stomping his foot hard on the ground.

I had come over to break him the news, only because Seth and Leah kept pestering me about it.

"You're her brother, dammit! How could you let this happen?"

Anger filled me right at that instant and it took all I had in me not to punch him square in the jaw. "You don't think I tried stopping it?!"

"Jake, calm down." Bella said extending her arm out towards me, only to be pulled right back by Edward. He simply shook his head at her.

Good, because if he didn't I probably would've hurt her.

"When did this happen?" Edward asked. As if he didn't already know..

"About five days ago.." It was painful enough to just think about it, let alone saying it out loud.

When I woke up I couldn't see a thing in front of me. It was pitch black.

I figured my eyes were still adjusting to the light so I waited until they'd make things clear. They didn't.

I brought my hand up, attempting to rub my eyes, but they wouldn't budge. I couldn't move my hands because they were tied behind me. I was tied to a pole and I didn't know what the hell was going on.

"Jacob?" I called out, thinking he'd be playing a sick joke on me for some reason.

I low hissing sound is heard nearby and my head starts to ache like it had been so many times before. I frantically look left and right to see where the creature would be. Then I realized that my surroundings were still not coming into view, so I was probably blind folded too.

Oh how great..

Footsteps are heard and my heart rate quickens, goose bumps are forming along my arms, I begin to shake with utter fear, and a thought comes across my mind all of a sudden.

"I'm going to die.."
