A/N: I'm real sorry to say this, but I'm pulling the plug with Connection. I have a lot of problems with this plot that I just can't fix, and it would take me months to fix the writing problems I had with it. I know this will upset some people, but look on the bright side, I'm updating other stories and actually uploading one shots now :D. If you want to know anything about this plot, I'll be willing to discuss it through PM.

"Kirito, are you ready for this next challenge?" a man wearing a white jacket asked the raven hair boy."This is going to take months and months to recover, and it is possible that you won't be able to go back to your old life. Knowing this, will you still take this risk?"

The boy that saved over six thousand lives from the death game let out a smile when he looked over to his right. He had slain many horrible people, like the demented leader of Yamata. He had been forced to kill many innocent people like the first friend he made inside of SAO, Klein. He knew first hand what it felt like to see someone die by a cruel twist of fate. He understood what it meant to be pierced by a sword. Despite all that, none of that could come close to the painful journey he had to endure in order to recover from being trapped in the game for so long.

He was wearing a white robe and white slippers. His hair grew so long over the past four years that they reached his shoulders and covered his eyes almost entirely. His arms were almost completely bone, only having enough skin to barely cover the white objects. He could barely see the various surroundings that many people would have been able to easily recognize. He was resting on a bed with blue sheets and blue pillow cases. Sunlight was going through white curtains that covered the one window in the entire room. There was a flower vase filled with red roses placed near the boy's feet that was probably left by a girl that he got to know over his time in SAO named Asuna.

"I've got someone to find, and I'll do whatever it takes to find her." Kirito slowly rose from the bed and took a few steps towards the man in the white jacket. "

Just wait for me. I'll find you."

"Alright, Kirito...or would you prefer me to call you something else?"

"Kazuto, call me Kazuto."

"Alright then, if you want to enter the City of Tears...you'll have to make enough progress to be able to walk out of here in three months."

The boy nodded before looking at the side. He only had one thing in mind.

"Hang tight, Keiko."

Kirito would begin his rehabilitation with the determination to save his missing friend. His journey through one virtual world had officially ended, but another tale would begin soon...a tale that would be for another time.
