Hey, guys. I guess there's no real way to avoid this...I'm sorry. I haven't updated in like two months, and the only reason I can give you is school. I'm in a deciding year now, and they decided to just pile on assessments as if we have no other classes -_- and they're just so stressful! (I'm looking at you, Business class) But apart from that, there's been nothing else that's evolved in my life that's stopped me from writing. Well, there is my job (since it cuts out a lot of my free time) and life in general, so eh idk.

ALSO HAS ANYONE PLAYED FIRE EMBLEM FATES PLEASE TELL ME IF YOU HAVE IT'S A GREAT GAME (completely just gave up punctuation there ._.)

ANYWAYS LIFE RANT OVER: I'm really sorry to have not updated, nor responded to reviews in the past few chapters. I just wanted to let all of you wonderful people to know that I did read all of your reviews and they were partially the reason I am writing again today (inspiration from them added with the guilt for not writing turns into this). I want all of you to know that you've all made writing this story such a joy and I love you every single one of you guys who read this story (well, the ones that like it anyways)...that being said though...

Shout out to these wonderful people: Alaina Kuski, 12Rayne, Guardian of Light Lightus, im ur misconception, Titania Faith, and ZoeNarutoFairy, and lastly, Gaia Kame! You've all reviewed either from the start, or somewhere near there, and all your reviews had made me feel especially appreciated and kept me writing ^-^ Thank you~! It's a bit embarrassing to admit this, but whenever I see reviews I do this kind of happy dance in my head and have this stupid grin on my face...but when I see your guys' reviews, I kind of let out a little squeal of happiness...shh, don't judge me...

AND NOW, ONTO THE STORY! (Why I always make you guys suffer my long ANs, I don't know)

WAIT READ ME FIRST: Okay so that was the AN before I actually wrote the chapter, and now I did, and I don't know what I've done omfg I'm VERY SORRY THIS TURNED WAY TOO DARK LIKE LEGIT THE OTHER CHAPTERS CAN'T EVEN COMPARE (and the end turned out pretty crappily, lol, sorry, I didn't really know how to do it)

Cold fear struck her like lightning and Mira, still on the ground from where Minerva had dropped her, began to scramble backward. The Sabertooth members watched her amusedly and the red-eyed thing grinned ferally, and as one, they began to approach her; the malice and dark intent they exuded made her want to vomit, but instead, she screamed. She wailed and wailed, but it didn't do anything to deter the oncoming group; she was loud enough to make her human Fairy Tail members cover their ears, and make Natsu, Gajeel and Wendy shriek in response to the damage to their sensitive hearing, but Rogue and Sting continued on unperturbed.

Mira continued to hurry backward, but then suddenly, Rogue's side of the group broke formation. Rogue, Yukino and Rufus left the monster's right side and began to herd Mira towards the wall, coming at her from her left side. Mira hesitated in her movements for a second, but the group kept coming, regardless. Reluctantly, she continued to scramble backward until her back met the cool, blood spattered wall with a harsh thud. Her screams cut off abruptly and she dropped her head.

Moments later, Mira lifted her head shakily to meet the eyes of the advancing group. She flinched at the unrivaled animalistic urge to kill, to rip apart, building in their eyes. She lifted trembling hands to try to stop them, to halt their oncoming assault, but as she did so, the bloody red staining her hands was suddenly brought to her attention. Without a second thought, she began wailing once more.

"I'm sorry!" she screamed, her voice hoarse from the strain. "I'm sorry! Forgive me, please, please, please, pleasepleaseplease!" Her shrieks echoed in her own ears, the sounds bouncing off of the walls of the alley, but even she could hear the following screams of her Fairy Tail comrades. They were pleading for her to be let go, else they inflict the horror of Fairy Tail's true wrath upon the Sabertooth group.

Her screams stopped when she was lifted and slammed against the wall by a pale, dainty hand. Mira raised her view from the hand slowly, trailing up to the arm before her eyes finally landed on the cloak and the woman's blood-red eyes. She shrieked, but was silenced as the hand slammed her into the wall once more. The sounds of shouting increased, but Mira watched with growing horror as the woman's other hand snapped in a quick, precise click, and all the Sabertooth members, but Sting and Rogue, left them. The woman let her watch the Sabertooth members inflict endless pain and misery on her comrades before the hand at her throat tightened and Mira's view was pointed directly at the woman's face. She was so close now; Mira could see every detail on her face.

She was unmistakably Lucy, but yet, not. The face held the same shape, but the kindness and happiness that had been etched into the very lines of her face had been replaced with cold disgust and hate; the skin tone which had once been pale and beautiful had changed to become dark and gray; most notably, however, the warmth of the chocolate brown eyes had been morphed and twisted into a burning inferno of fury that glared at Mira through red-eyed pupils. The golden locks were, undoubtedly, the same, though they held none of the radiance they had before. Instead, when they tumbled out of the woman's cloak, they merely hung limply and lifelessly against her chest.

Mira weighed out all these factors in her head before she came to a conclusion: this woman was not Lucy, but a beast in her form.

"Stop it," she whispered softly. She had intended it to be a growl, but the strain of screaming the loudest she could for what she felt like were hours had finally taken its toll on her; Mira couldn't raise her voice above a whisper. "Stop it, stop it, stop it! They don't deserve this, they don't deserve any of this, and you don't have any right to hurt them like this. You're not her. You're nothing more than a beast, a monster, a demon."

The woman's lips cracked into an ear-splitting grin and she leaned forward to talk in Mira's ear. As she moved towards her face, however, Mira's senses became clogged with the distinct smell of rotting, decay, and death, and she gagged. The woman let out a huff of amusement, and the utter filth Mira smelt in her breath made the white-haired woman tear up despite her inability to shed any more tears.

"I don't know what to say about you, little faux-demon," she hissed in her ear. "So much right and so much wrong in just a few statements," she crooned, dragging it's right hand across the right side of her jaw, it's left hand still holding her against the wall. "You like to dally with and within the darkness, take the darkness into your own soul, and denounce those who do the same, what a hypocrite."

"What?" Mira choked out.

"I am what you try to be with your petty transformations, yes. I am a demon," the woman snarled into her ear before snatching back it's hand from her throat and taking a large step back, allowing Mira to fall to the ground on her own. "And I am going to make you suffer your payment of your sins early; I will make your introduction to Hell seem like a pleasant guild brawl." Another snap of her fingers and all sounds of fighting ceased. Mira couldn't get a good look, but she could see Minerva disentangling herself with Team Natsu and Elfman, Orga doing so with the Raijinshuu, and Rufus and Yukino taking steps back from Gajeel, Levy, and Pantherlily; she couldn't tell exactly (the thing was blocking most of her view), but even with her limited vision she could tell that Fairy Tail had come out worse for the wear.

Another click of her fingers and Mira's attention was brought back to the cloaked figure; absently, she noticed that the fingernails of the woman were not really fingernails, but instead talons, claws. "Let's begin, shall we?"

The woman kicked Mira's face and she fell to the ground with a thud. The sound was muffled, however, by the echoing sound of blood splashing. Mira watched with growing terror as spatters littered the blonde's face, and trembled in horror as she watched the thing lick its lips and grin in satisfaction.

"Nice starter," she hissed and followed her to the ground by dropping to its knees. Mira's blue eyes stared into the crazed red for a second before she choked and coughed, blood coming out of her own mouth. Pain flared throughout her, and she gazed with horror down at her own stomach. There, buried deep within her, was the woman's clawed hand. Mira tried desperately to scream, but her throat refused to comply; and so she laid there, silently screaming as the crazed demon woman yanked her hand out of her abdomen. "No more babies for you~" she sang, and then it dawned on Mira.

The morning sickness she'd been having, the violent mood swings that occurred more often than before, the sudden inability to control her darker side because of her lack of power. She'd been pregnant. And this woman had just ripped her baby out of her. Crying out silently, she turned her head to the side, only to be met with Minerva holding the last member of Team Natsu, Erza, by her neck and snapping it ruthlessly. The remainders of the team were left scattered on the blood-stained ground, Elfman's limbs slowly joining them shred by shred as Sting ripped the man apart; Mira shook her head, unable to believe, and turned her head to the other side, only to see the Raijinshuu, Gajeel, Pantherlily and Levy meet the same fate at the hands of Rufus, Yukino and Rogue. It seemed the Twin Dragon Slayers had gotten bored of waiting for the demon woman to finish.

She was not yet done, still. The woman raked it's claws up and down's Mira's body, shredding her clothes and leaving deep gouges in their path. She grinned and lifted both hands off of Mira's body, and pointed them claws downwards towards her heart. "Bye bye, faux-demon." The hands, speeding towards Mira's heart, stopped suddenly at the new arrival.

"Wait!" the voice called, panting.

"What is it? Who dares to interrupt my fun times?" the demon woman cackled darkly, and Mira heard the man (it was a voice she knew, for sure) hesitate slightly.

"We do." Mira definitely knew that voice. It was Laxus, and so the other man must have been...Bixlow!

"I can see you," the voice, Bixlow she knew now, called out. "You are not Lucy, though that body is hers and she still resides within. You are not yet fully tainted-"

"I am a demon!" the thing, she couldn't call it a woman anymore, for the voice had changed into that of a roar that shook mountains, bellowed. "I am the darkness that pollutes this world; I am the taint and the filth and everything combined!"

"Yes, you are. But you are Lucy, deep within you somewhere there, and we all know she would not do such a thing." Bixlow paused and his voice became unsure. "So stop it."

"What?" the demon asked incredulously. "What did you say?" It burst out into maniacal laughter but stopped when Bixlow began to speak once more.

"Stop your illusion and be gone."
