Chapter 4
Surprise

"We may never meet again,
but we'll never forget each other."
—Squall Leonhart

—6 years later—

"Hey! Look out! Get out of the way!"

Naruto stirred in his sleep.

"Heh! And I'm Hikari! Just Hikari!—"

His nose scrunched up as he turned to his side, burying his face into his pillow. The bright sunlight illuminated his room, stinging his eyes like there's no tomorrow. He groaned loudly and pulled the covers over his head.

"Oh I'm Naruto Namikaze! Dattebayo! You must be Hikari's brother, Sora!"

"Uh-huh! Nice to meet cha, Naruto!"

His eyebrows knitted together as he heard thumping sounds outside his bedroom.

"Hey, do you think we can ever see them again?"

"Of course!"

"Naruto! Wake up! It's time for you to get up for school!" The voice of his angry mother was heard from behind his closed bedroom door. He ignored it though.

"What?! Even without taking it. No one can beat me!"

"Whatever it takes, I'll protect everyone!"

"NARUTO! GET UP!"

Naruto snapped his eyes open. He sat up on his bed and gasped. The pompom on his nightcap slapped his face, tickling his nose with the soft furry fabric. He lazily turn his head to his door with his eyes still screwed shut. A loud yawn escaped his lips. He scratched his lower back and slowly drifted back to sleep.

"Naruto! Didn't you hear me?!" His mother banged his door loudly. Finally, the door was kicked down by his own mother. He literally jumped. Robotically, he turned his head to face his mother. He flinched at the sight of his mother's red hair flowing around her into nine different directions with a menacing aura around her. "Get your sorry ass up! You're going to be late, Dattebane!" She pulled on Naruto's blanket, making him fell flat face first to the wooden floor.

"Waaaa! Okay mom! Okay! I'll be down in a sec…" Naruto frantically exclaimed, waving his hands in front of him.

The Red Hot-Blooded Habanero huffed, placing her hands on her hips. "You better! Or else I'll drag you down again." she said, walking out of her son's room.

As soon as the door closed with a loud bang, Naruto slump his shoulders down. The preteen sighed in relief. He didn't have to face his mother's wrath in the morning, except the morning call. He zoned out, staring at nothing in particular as he remembered his weird dreams.

Thud

A pair of blue eyes quickly darted to the source of the sound. It came from his nightstand. Sighing, he stood up. He grabbed the picture frame that somehow got knocked. He held the picture frame. In the picture is of him, his father, and his two friends from another village. They were eating at Ichiraku Ramen when his mom took that picture without them even noticing. He stared at the picture with a frown.

It's been six years, six freaking years since he last saw them.

"From now on, we're friends till the end!" Those words... He remembered those words loud and clear. On that day, he made his first friends.

'Geez…' Naruto scratched the back of his neck. 'I miss you guys, you know?' he sighed heavily before dragging his feet to his bathroom, ready to take on another day at the Academy.

Minato skimmed to another page, reading the mission reports he had brought home to finish. He frowned when he read one report. There was another attack—the guards at the border of Konoha were attacked by animals. Animals. This wasn't the first time. No. This happened a lot to Konoha's shinobis and even the other hidden villages' shinobis—not to mention the villagers too. The Yondaime let out a heavy sigh.

"Still working on the Beast Case?" Kushina asked, pouring coffee to her husband's mug. She grimaced at the thick and bitter smell of caffeine.

The Yellow Flash sighed as he placed the papers down, reaching his hand out to grab his favorite mug. He took a sip. "Yeah…seems like the Beasts are becoming more and more…troublesome. There's no pattern. They attack everyone. Not just ninjas from powerful clans, but civilians too." the blond crossed his arms over his chest, closing his eyes tiredly. "They leave only claw marks and sometimes none. A week ago, Kumo sent out fifty of their ninjas to investigate. Fourteen out of fifty were wounded and thirty six went missing." he sighed.

Kushina exhaled a heavy breath, "Their Raikage is such a pushover… Always showing off…dattebane…" she said, taking a seat beside Minato. They both decided to drop the topic when their heard Naruto's footsteps coming closer. The red-haired woman smiled at her sight of her sunshine. "Morning, Naruto! Have a good sleep?" She smiled.

Naruto grinned, despite the fact that a few minutes ago he just faced his mother's wrath. "Dattebayo! But I had a dream about Sora and Hikari…I miss 'em…" he said, sitting down opposite of Minato. He took a spoonful of scrambled eggs to his mouth, chewing angrily and swallowed thickly. "I mean, why they leaved me without telling!" he huffed childishly.

Minato shook his head as he let a small sigh escape his nose, but a small smile was on his lips. "Both Sora and Hikari's parents showed up when you were asleep, Naruto, and they were too. I'm sure their parents didn't want to wake their children up." he explained. He had explained this many times to his son, but his son just doesn't want to accept it.

"Ugh… Still, their parents could've waited until tomorrow so we could say goodbye…" Naruto grumbles, eating his breakfast quickly.

A small frown appeared on the Yondaime's face. It was a lie. The story of 'Sora's and Hikari's parents came to his house in the middle of the night to take the two home' was a total lie. Sora and Hikari actually disappeared on their second night in Konoha. The Yellow Flash was horrified to find only his son the next morning with no trace of the two other kids. Afraid that his son might be scared of the disappearance, he made up a story to cover the disappearance and the possibility of another world existing. Only the Third Hokage, Kushina, and he—himself knew about it. Not even the Uchihas, not even his team knew.

Kushina smiled and ruffled Naruto's hair. "Well I'm sure they'll come and visit us." she said reassuringly, giving a kiss on Naruto's forehead. She handed him a bento, neatly wrapped in a green furoshiki with white swirls. "Now go on. You're going to be late if you don't go now, dattebane!"

Naruto took the bento happily and kissed his mother's cheek and high-fived with his father. After that the preteen slipped on his sandals and quoted 'I'm leaving' to his parents whom reply with a 'have a safe trip' in unison, he left the house, leaving his parents alone.

Minato let out the sigh he has been holding and his smile dropped.

The red-haired woman shook her head. "You're going to have to tell Naruto someday, Minato." She said.

The Yondaime shook his head. "It's not the right time yet. Besides, he's still an Academy student, barely a genin yet."

"At least tell your team…"

"Perhaps…"

—La Cité des Cloches —

The bells of Notre Dame toll simultaneously, creating melodic sounds for the ears to hear. White doves flew from the church, soaring to the blue endless sky, flapping its wings loudly. A few feathers were floating around when the white doves took off. Among the dozens of feathers floating around, three statues and a girl was standing in the shadows.

"Hachuuu!" the green gargoyle sneezed. Sneezed. The girl didn't flinch, instead, she laughed at the gargoyle's dismay. Normally, someone would scream, faint, or even run at the sight of a talking gargoyle. She didn't. It was a normal thing for her. "Geez! I hate it when those blasted doves do that!" the gargoyle grumbled, rubbing its nose.

The pink one raised her finger and waved it up and down accusingly at the green gargoyle while closing an eye. "Don't you ever say that to my pretties! They are delicate." She scolded in a motherly way.

"Pssh! Whatever," The green gargoyle waved the pink one off, waving his hand as he jumped a few steps forward. He leaned against the railing, staring down at the citizens of Paris who were crowding around a green clothed man. A child, no older than ten, stepped away from the crowd and approached the bell-ringer of Notre Dame with a curious yet frightened look. "Hey guys! Come and look at this!" he shouted, motioning his hands for the others to come.

The other two gargoyles and the girl soon joined him, leaning against the railing to stare at the scene. They couldn't hear what the crowd were saying, but as soon as the child hugged the bell-ringer, the crowd simply grows wild and started to lift the man up, cheering his name over and over again.

"Look at that, our Quasi is growing up." The pink one wiped the invincible tears away, sniffling at the sight of 'Quasi' finally being accepted by the villagers.

"He's already a man, Laverne." The green one—named Hugo—said with an annoyed look.

The tallest of the three gargoyles sniffled, blowing his nose with a white handkerchief. "I think it's great that he's finally making friends with the villagers." He placed the handkerchief away and turned to the girl who was simply watching the scene unfold with a smile. "If it wasn't for you, your brother, and your friend, Quasi might still be living here alone with that despicable Frollo controlling his life." He thanked with a hand over his chest and a smile, making Laverne and Hugo turn to the girl too.

The girl sheepishly grinned and scratched the back of her neck. "Yeah, but I feel kind of bad for yelling at him like that…Could you guys say sorry to him? Please?" she sighed, slumping her shoulders down.

It was true, she yelled at Quasimodo for being too obedient to Frollo. She yelled at him to stop listening to what Frollo was saying and told him to just follow his heart. And after that she left him, due to the fact that there was a huge Nightmare in town. After the battle, she went up the cathedral to only find the three gargoyles fighting off some Nightmares. She helped the three gargoyles and now here they are, watching Quasimodo being accepted by the town folks of Paris.

"Sure thing Hikari! It's the least that we can do for you." Laverne smiled.

The girl named Hikari nodded her head with a grin. She glanced over her shoulder to the stairs. "Thanks! But I got to go now. I'll see you guys later!" She waved her hand goodbye as she stared to walk towards the wooden stairs.

"Bye Hikari!" Hugo, Laverne, and Victor shouted in unison, waving goodbye to the brunette.

Hikari gingerly went down the stairs, each step she took the fragile wood creaks under her foot. She grimaced when a crack was heard. The keyblade wielder sighed in relief when the wood didn't snap in two. She leaned over the railing, sighing as she still has a few more floors before exiting the tower. Feeling tired and annoyed that it was going to take time to reach the bottom, she used Flow Motion and jumped over the railing, landing on the floor with a loud thud echoing inside the cathedral. She stood up, dusting the invincible dust off her pants.

Her footsteps echoed inside the empty cathedral. She stopped right in the middle of the spacious room. Suddenly, there was a blinding light above me shaped like a keyhole. She raised her keyblade up, pointing to the keyhole as the tip of her keyblade emits light. The light shot out to the keyhole. A circular section behind the keyhole disappears with an effect reminiscent of shattering glass, reviling a torrent of gold energy and symbol underneath as soon as the glass breaks. The light dies down when the Keyhole of Sleep was unlocked.

The brunette sighed heavily. She may be a bit behind than her brother and Riku.

A large stained-glass with various colors radiated the same colors to the floor, making the brunette stare at the floor to admire the light before looking up to stare at the stained-glass. The stained glass reminded her so much of the stain glass at the Station of Awakening. Her vision blurred and suddenly, the beautiful stained glass image was replaced by Sora's Station of Awakening. She quickly blinked her eyes and rubbed them, trying to see if it was just her eyes playing tricks on her. She sighed in relief. It was just her eyes.

"I really need to get my eyes check…" she grumbles to herself, sighing heavily. For a moment there, she really thought that she saw Sora's Station of Awakening. She furrowed her eyebrows down, if she really did see a Station of Awakening, wouldn't it be hers' and not her brother's? After thinking hard, she sagged her shoulders down in frustration. 'Things just got weirder and weirder…' she shook her head.

A dark chuckle echoed in the cathedral, snapping the keyblade wielder from her thoughts. She straitened her posture and quickly stood in her signature fighting stance as she summoned her keyblade. Her eyes scanned the cathedral, trying to find the source of the dark chuckle. Blue eyes narrowed when a dark portal appeared a few feet away from her. Her grip on the keyblade tightened at the sight of a black boot coming out from the inky blackness.

A hooded figure of a man stepped fully out of the dark portal. The portal closed behind him as he stood with pride.

"Who are you?" Hikari broke the silence, her voice sounded bold, but she was nervous. Beads of sweat rolled down her forehead and her eyes never left the hooded man. She met him once at Traverse Town. He said nothing to her, but left her to deal with a bunch of Nightmares to take care of.

"It is a shame that you return to the Light." The hooded man began. "Otherwise I would not be going for your brother."

Hikari's eyebrow twitched as a growl escape her lips. "You stay away from him, you coward! Get away from my brother, my friends, and me! Or else I'll kick your sorry-behind back to Oblivion!" she threatened.

The man chuckled darkly. The keyblade wielder narrowed her eyes when he lifted his hands up to his hood. He slowly pulled his hood down, reviling long silver locks to his shoulders. His bangs were slicked back and his eyes were a glowing yellow color. His tanned skin brings out his hair and eyes, making it impossible for someone to miss him in a wave of people.

The keyblade wielder's eyes widened in horror as an image of Terra flashed through her mind. "Te-Terra?! What did you do to Terra!" she demanded, glaring at the Terra-Look-Alike.

The man simply stared at her. "I am not Terra. My name is Young Xehanort." He said in monotone.

"Stop lying and tell me what you did to Terra!" Hikari bellowed, charging forward with her keyblade ready to slash him. She jumped up and raised her keyblade up. She swung her keyblade at him, aiming for his chest, but a loud clang was heard when he blocked her attack.

"A… A keyblade!" her eyes grew wide at the sight of a keyblade in the hands of a Nobody. She only believed that Roxas, Xion, Xikari—her Nobody—were the only Nobodies who could wield a keyblade. Before she could even ask him who he is, she was kicked on the stomach, sending her flying back across the room.

Hikari landed with a loud thud. The impact knocked air right out of her lungs, making her cough a few times. Slowly, she regained her balance and stood up. Whoever this guy is…he's strong.

"You are a bit slow compared to your brother and your friend," Young Xehanort said calmly as the keyblade wielder began to glare hard. It wasn't her fault that she was slow! Well, technically it was, but that wasn't the point! "You lack power because you choose Light over Darkness. Perhaps I should send you to a world where only Darkness resides." he said coldly. Hikari stiffened at his words. He isn't going to send her to The Realm of Darkness, now is he? "Or better yet, a world where people use Darkness."

"Wha—?" Before Hikari could even finish, a pool of black ink formed right underneath her feet. It began to drag her down slowly. She wasn't going down without a fight. She struggled and swung her keyblade randomly when black-like-tentacles began to restrain her. She growled at the sight of Young Xehanort smirking at her. With all her might, she threw the keyblade at him, only for him to deflect it easily. The pool of darkness was already up to her neck when Young Xehanort decided to tower over her. "Curse you, Xeha—!"

-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-

"—nort!"

Hikari's back hit something hard. She groaned in pain as she sat up. A cool breeze blew her hair out from her face. The brunette slowly stood up and took her surroundings. Her eyes widened at the sight. Quickly, she scrambled up to her feet, running towards the metal railings. She leaned forward, gripping the railing with all her might.

"This is…Konoha…" she trailed off, a goofy grin replacing her frown. She hasn't seen this village in ages! The last time she was here is when she was six. Her eyes suddenly widened. Why did Young Xehanort send her here? She was expecting somewhere dark and gloomy, but she never expected Konoha! The sound of a portal opening was heard. She sharply turned around, summoning her keyblade at the sight of Young Xehanort standing a few feet away from her. "What's the meaning of this?! Why did you send me to Konoha?! This place isn't a place of Darkness!"

Young Xehanort chuckled menacingly, "But it is… You will be surprised of how many people have been corrupted by the Darkness."

"Cih! Like I'll believe you!" Hikari shouted, she narrowed her eyes at the silver-haired man. Young Xehanort stayed silent. Instead, he only gave her a smirk before taking a few steps back into the portal of Darkness. "WAIT! Come back here, you Jerkface! Fight me like a real man!" she demanded.

"Until we meet again, Keyblade Wielder." he did a mock bow and disappeared, leaving the brunette to herself.

Hikari summoned her keyblade away and growled. She rolled her eyes. Some man he is. She exhaled a deep breath, staring out to the large village before her. Perhaps she could make this as a benefit… The Keyhole of Sleep might be here and of course she could see her old friends again! At the thought of a familiar loud blond and an anti-social boy made her grin. She missed everyone she has met here at Konoha.

The brunette simply glanced up and blinked a few times before grinning like a fool. "Well I'll be… It's Naruto's Dad's face!" she shouted to the mountain face of the Yondaime. She placed her hand on her chin, staring at the face with a frown. "He looks…old…"

-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-

"Hachuuu!"

"Catching a cold, sensei?"

The blond man wiped his nose with his finger and grinned at his student. "No, no, I guess someone is just talking about me." He said with a smile, lacing his fingers together before leaning his chin on them. The room was silent once more and the people at the room straightened their posture like a stick. "Now, as you all know, all hidden villages are having the same difficulties." He paused, taking a deep breath.

"The Earth Daimyo have suggested that each Shinobi village have to sent out their best team consist of five to join in together and exterminate the Beasts. If I say yes along with all the other Kages, the plan will proceed. If I don't, then at the summit, I'll have to figure out a way to make the Earth Daimyo abandon this plan." He finished with narrowed eyes when protests began to fill the room.

"Our relation with Iwa and Kumo are unstable. Who knows what they have plan behind our backs," The voice of one of the elders said calmly. All eyes were on him now, waiting for him to continue. The words of an elder are always wise and calculated. Surely, they have to listen to the elders' opinion before suggesting their own. "We cannot risk the lives of our five best shinobis for something like this. There before, I suggest we think of something else to protect the village from the Beasts."

Minato quirked up an eyebrow, "What do you suggest we do, Danzo?"

"I suggest we let the Akatsuki handle this matter."

Murmurs were heard from around the room.

-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-

In a distance, a boy was leaning against the tall wooden fence. He had his arms crossed and his eyes closed. The boy hid in the shadows well, blending in it despite the bright color of his shirt. He was far from any villagers, from the ears and eyes of witnesses. A colorful animal perched on his shoulder, its mouth wide open and wings spread out to provide privacy for only the boy to hear.

"Why go so far to the Akatsuki, Danzo?" the first voice buzzed through the bat's mouth.

"They are a group of powerful ninjas formed by the Fire Daimyo. We created the Akatsuki for a reason, Lord Hokage. This is the right time to use their skills to solve this problem." 'Danzo' replied. There was a moment of silence.

"That is an excellent idea, Danzo." Another voice said. It was different from the first one and Danzo's. This one sounded more feminine, but raspy. Perhaps it was an elderly woman judging by the voice. She sounded so calm despite the situation of the 'Beasts' running around their village. "With the Akatsuki taking this mission, I am sure that they will succeed without any difficulties." She added.

The boy, Riku—who was listening from the start—hummed in amusement. 'They're taking this too seriously.' He mused with a smirk. The so called Beast are what he presume as Nightmares since they describe the 'Beasts' as colorful animals—not in the language kind, but the color. 'I mean, hiring a bunch of elite ninjas called the Akatsuki for this? They can just swing their swords and the Nightmares would be gone.' he chuckled to himself.

He paused when his Spirit chirped.

"Then it's settled… I shall speak with this to the Daimyo at the summit. Until then, dismiss." the voice filled with authority spoke calmly.

"Yes, Lord Hokage." Everyone said in unison. Then coming out form the bat's mouth was the sound of multiple chairs screeching against the floor. The bat immediately cut the sounds and chirped happily, spreading his wings apart to uncover the boy's head.

Riku smirked and patted the bat's head in complementation. "Good work Bat Bat." He praised as he side glance to the large bat resting on his shoulder. Blue-green eyes narrowed when footstep reach his ears. He quickly summoned the Komori Bat away and casually leaned against the wooden fence like a normal person as two teenage girls went pass him. They giggled at the sight of the boy and blushed when they saw his blue-green eyes. The two girls quickened their pace so they could gossip about how handsome he is. The boy mentally sighed. Curse his good looks. "That was a close one…" he murmured to himself.

He pushed himself off the wall and tucked his hands inside his pants' pockets. He began to walk back towards the crowded area. As soon as he reached the streets, he blocked all the sounds. He began to ponder about the not-so-secret meeting. He overheard some guy taking about 'colorful beasts' that has been causing trouble around. Curious, he followed the black-haired fellow to a tower and paused on his track when he saw two guards standing by the gates of the tower. He quickly summoned his trustworthy Spirit and tagged the young man from a distance.

Were the Nightmares really are a bother to this world? They could've mistaken the Spirits for Nightmares. Dream Eaters appears to be the same kind, but the Spirits and Nightmares were different. They were colored differently. The Nightmares are dark-colored and have glowing red eyes while the Spirits are light-colored and have black eyes with various shaped pupils. From what he listened, the boy learned something: they attack first, ask questions later. Just like a ninja he knew at Radiant Garden.

Riku, let out a deep sigh, running his fingers through his silver hair. 'Why did that guy send me here anyway?' stopping in the middle of the street, he looked up to stare at the carved faces on the mountain. 'Come to think of it… if I'm here… that means Sora and Hikari might be here too.' he glanced around the sea of people.

Riku sighed in disappointment when he didn't find the brunettes.

"Are you looking for someone?" A kind voice startled him from behind. Surprised, Riku turned around with a guarded look. He relaxed when it was only a woman with a weird green flak jacket and rectangles tattoos on her cheeks. She smiled at the silver-haired teen. "I couldn't help but notice that you look like you're looking for someone." she stated.

Riku nodded his head cautiously. Somehow this woman seemed familiar… "Yeah. I'm…looking for two brunettes, a boy and a girl. Sora and Hikari." He said with a calm look. The woman nodded her head and waited for him to continue his description. "They both are really loud." It shouldn't be hard for her to help him find Sora and Hikari.

The woman nodded her head again. "I'll see what I can do. What's your name? I'm Rin Nohara." She introduced.

Riku blinked. Rin Nohara. Rin Nohara… He mentally slapped himself for forgetting. Rin Nohara was the name of the woman who Hikari told him about six years ago. The 'ninja lady' with brown hair and purple rectangle tattoos on each side of her cheek. If this ninja lady is really Rin Nohara…then this must be Konoha. The world Sora and Hikari visited long time ago because of the hooded figure in the Secret Hideout. Now, why would Young Xehanort forcefully send him to Konoha?

"Ah sorry…" Riku noticed he was spacing out. He quickly apologized and bowed his head a little to Rin. "My name's Riku…"

Rin smiled, "Nice to meet you Riku. Please follow me, I need you to fill out some forms for your request." she said, walking pass the silver-haired teen. She stopped when Riku wasn't following her. "Coming?" she called out.

Riku nodded his head. "Right…" he took a step forward, following the woman to the tower with the kanji 'fire' on it.

"—okay?"

Sora blinked slowly. His vision was a blur. The voice kept on asking if he was okay. The brunet sat up, a hand on his forehead. He rubbed his temples in attempt to massage the dizziness away. He swayed a little, but regained his vision and balance a minute later. Blue eyes eyed curiously at the green blob crouching beside him.

"Are you alright, boy?" The green man asked with a cheerful tone.

The brunet tilted his head and rubbed his eyes, trying to make the illusion go away. It didn't. His eyebrow twitched when the man clad in green began to pose. He was wearing a tight green spandex suit with an open green flak jacket, orange with white stripes leg warmers, and a red belt with a metal plate on it. His hair was inky black, cut in a bowl cut hairstyle.

"Yosh! You have finally awaken, boy!" The green obsessed beast cried out loudly in victory.

"Hu-Huh?" Sora asked, confused. Wasn't he in the cathedral fighting an Organization member a minute ago?

The green beast grinned, flashing his pearly white teeth at Sora. "I found you unconscious a few minutes ago, boy! Might I ask why you are doing here?" he gave a thumbs up while his other hand was placed on his hip.

Sora scratched the back of his neck, smiling nervously. "I don't actually know myself… One minute I was awake then the next minute I'm unconscious and somehow I end up here." he answered truthfully.

The man suddenly cried. His tears streaming down his face like a waterfall, making the keyblade wielder cringe at how close he was to his face. "How youthful! You kept on training to your limits and ended up passing out in the training ground! Oh how youthful!" he said dramatically.

Sora laughed. This guy was funny! "Yeah… maybe you could say it like that… I'm Sora by the way. What's your name?" he reached his hand, offering his hand for the green beast to shake his hand.

The green beast claps his hand loudly onto Sora's hand, grinning. "People call me the Leaf's Noble Gentleman, the beautiful Green Beast of Konoha, Guy Might!" he shouted loudly his teeth reflected the sunlight and he winked with a toothy grin.

The brunet nodded, grinning as well. "Nice to meet you, Guy. I'm Sora!" He introduced. The boy's eyes widened. Did he just say Konoha? As in the Konoha he visited by accident six years ago? His blue eyes observed the green flak jacket and the headband tied around Guy's waist. Yup. This is the Konoha. How did he end up here again? "Say, Guy?"—insert a youthful yes from Guy—"Have you seen a girl that looks like me, she's my little sister and my friend with silver hair? I'm looking for them." if I'm here then that means Riku and Hikari are here too! he finished in his mind.

Guy placed a hand on his chin. "Hmmm," he hummed, closing his eyes in the process. "I might not know…but Lord Hokage might! Come along Sora! Perhaps he knows where to find your youthful sister and your youthful friend!" he exclaim, dashing towards the red tower.

"Waaa! Wait up Guy!" Sora shouted, running to catch up with the man. "You're too faaaaast!" he whined.

-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-x-

"Konoha sure didn't change a lot… well, minus the new face on the mountain anyway…" Hikari said to herself, taking in her surroundings. The village hasn't change a lot. Everything was almost the same despite the fact that it has been six years. The only new thing she noticed was Minato's face on the mountain. "I wonder how everyone is doing…" she crossed her hands behind her head.

The brunette walked into the busy streets of Konoha. She didn't care about getting lost. It just makes things more exciting for her to explore the village. She casually walked with the crowd, blending in with them. In a distance, she spotted a woman with long silky red hair. She blinked her eyes. There's only one person in Konoha who has hair that long and red.

Hikari grinned and cupped her mouth. "NARUTO'S MOM!" She yelled to the top of her lungs, not caring if the villager around her cringe at her sudden outburst.

Kushina paused in spot at the mention of Naruto. She slowly turn around, her long red hair sway in the opposite direction of where she turn. Her violet eyes widened. In a few meters away from her, a 'boy' with brown hair and blue eyes was grinning at her. She narrowed her eyes to focus her vision. At first she thought it was just some random boy shouting nonsense, but she remembered something. Only one person calls her that.

"Hi-Hikari?" The beautiful red-head whispered to herself before running towards the girl, abandoning her shopping list on the way. People make way for the Hokage's wife to go through. When she reached the preteen she embraced the girl in a huge bone-crushing bear hug, twirling her around as if she was her own daughter. It has been so long, so long since she last saw her. She didn't care if Hikari wasn't related to her by blood. Hikari and Sora were Naruto's first friends without viewing him as a monster or the famous Hokage's son, so that makes them family.

"It's nice to see you again, Naruto's Mom!" Hikari flashed a grin as Kushina placed the girl down, although her hands never left her shoulders.

Kushina lowered her head. Her bright hair started to suddenly fly everywhere with her face dimmed. Her whole body shook in anger. "YOU STUPID LITTLE GIRL!" The Red Hot-Blooded Habanero smacked Hikari's head with her balled up hand. The keyblade wielder winced in pain and cradled her head. She wasn't expecting THAT! "HOW COULD YOU DISAPPEAR?! YOU ALMOST GAVE ME A HEART ATTACK!" She yelled out loudly, catching everyone's attention.

"Aw! Aw! Aw! Aw! Why did you do that for, Naruto's Mom?! I didn't do anything wrong!" Hikari whined in pain and flinched when Kushina gritted her teeth. At the sight of an angry Red Hot-Blooded Habanero, she remembered. Kushina must've been worried because she and her brother suddenly 'disappeared' six years ago. The brunette quickly raised her hands up in defeat, taking a few steps back. "Na-Naruto's Mom… calm down! I—we didn't mean to leave you guys! Honest!" she 'eep'ed when Kushina cracked her knuckles.

The red-haired woman sighed deeply, shaking her head. She took deep breathes, calming herself down before speaking. "You have a lot of explaining to do, young lady!" She huffed, crossing her arms.

"Gah! Okay! I'll explain everything! Just don't hit me again, Naruto's Mom!" Hikari shielded her head with her arms from Kushina's fist of fury.

Kushina sighed, placing a hand on her forehead, massaging the headache away. "Geez…No need to be so over-dramatic—," she paused when an explosion was heard. She turned her head to the source, finding thick black smoke rose up in the clear blue sky. Her violet eyes widened in shock. She kept on staring at the smoke tainting the perfect blue sky. Her ears were filled with terrified screams. Realization struck her head. The smoke was from the Uchiha Compound. "Mikoto!" she screamed in horror.

'Sasuke's Mom?' Hikari narrowed her eyes at the smoke. It could be the Nightmares. She furrowed her eyebrows at the thought of her enemies during the Mark of Mastery exam. Her lips were set in a thin line, showing just how serious she was when dealing the Nightmares when they dare to even lay a claw on her friends. Her hands clenched into tight fists.

"Stay here Hika—!" Before Kushina could even finish, a brown blur was seen from the corner of her eyes. Her violet eyes widened in surprise. She expected her to run away, not run towards the compound! The Red Hot-Blooded Habanero watched as the girl easily slipped through the crowd to the Uchiha Compound. She cursed under her breath before sprinting towards the compound, afraid that Mikoto and her family or Hikari might've been hurt by those Beasts.

The keyblade wielder struggled to get pass through the crowd after they started to run the opposite direction. She tried her best not to crash into random villagers, but she failed. She was pushed around multiple times, almost ending up flat on the ground trampled, but luckily she managed to balance herself. The keyblade wielder scowled when a man pushed her out of the way, making her fall flat on her bottom. She was lucky that that man was the last of the panicking civilians.

With a scowl on her face, she pushed herself up, brushing the dirt off her pants and hands. The brunette blinked when green and black blurs went pass her in full speed, screaming commands. She shook her head, snapping back to reality when she heard screams from inside the compound. Without thinking twice, she ran inside the compound. After following screams and Nightmares flying around, she finally found the place where the battle took place.

In was chaos. People dressed in black and green flak jackets were attacking a large Nightmare—Tyranto Rex to be exact. They were doing good, jumping around and casting some sort of elemental magic, but they seemed a bit off. Sure they hit Tyranto Rex, but something just doesn't seem right. Hikari watched carefully. Of course! They seemed to be scared! Nightmares eat good dreams and plant bad ones. They were draining people hopes and dreams and eat from their fear. It makes sense…

Hikari's eyes widened when Tryranto Rex swung its tail at one shinobi. He got hit and sent back flying across the battle field toward where she was standing. Out of instinct, Hikari caught the man and skidded backwards a few feet before stopping. Both she and the man fell flat to the dusty ground, the two of them let out a painful groan.

"Are you alright?" Hikari asked with a grunt.

The man answered with another question. "Who…who are you?"

"Me? I'm the good guy! Er…girl!" Hikari grinned and corrected herself.

The keyblade wielder slowly set the man down to sit on the ground. She lifted her gaze up when Tyranto Rex let out a powerful roar. The shinobis around the Nightmare closed their ears at the powerful roar that could make them deaf for a few minutes. Hikari did the same, waiting for the Nightmare to stop wailing. She furrowed her eyebrows down and grabbed a rock, tossing it up and down before deciding to throw it at the Nightmare.

"What do you think you're doing?!" the man behind her yelled. "You're going to get yourself killed!" he tried to stood up but failed.

She ignored him and threw the rock with all the might. The rock bounced off the Nightmare's head. The shinobis around turned their head to the person who just dared to threw a rock at one of the most powerful 'Beast'. Their eyes widened at the sight of a preteen girl, standing a few meters away from the 'Beast'. She stood without a single fear in her eyes, instead they could see determination.

"Oi! If you're going to mess with Sasuke's Mom and the ninjas here, you're messing with me too, you dumb butt!" Hikari taunted with her arms crossed. Tyranto Rex lunged forward, ready to ram the brunette and the man behind her. As quickly as she can, she turned her back on the Nightmare and lifted the man up in a bridal style. She used Flow Motion to jump out of the way. Don't get her wrong, but the man was heavy! She landed on one of the roofs, stumbling with the extra weight in her arms.

"A-Are you stupid?!" The man snapped.

"Nope~!" Hikari popped the 'p'. She carefully placed the man down, allowing him to sit on the roof. She blocked the nagging man's voice when she spotted two boys, one with silver hair and the other with spiky brown hair. She narrowed her eyes to confirm that they were in fact Riku and Sora. A huge smile appeared on her lips as she was sure that it was them. "Excuse me, but I got a Nightmare to take care of!" she gave a two finger salute before jumping away.

Sora panted as he reached the Uchiha compound. Once he heard the explosion and Guy whispering about the location, he quickly sprinted towards the compound. He didn't care if Guy tried to call him back shouting that it was too dangerous for 'an academy student' to see. He wasn't a student anymore. He's a soon-to-be Keyblade Master.

On his way to the compound, he met up with Riku. He was overjoyed to see his best friend, if his best friend is here then there's a high chance Hikari's here too! Both exchange quick greetings before sprinting towards the compound again. The two keyblade wielders thought it would be best to go to the compound, since they know that curiosity got the best of Hikari when it comes to something. Just maybe, they could meet up and team up to defeat whatever Nightmares are in stored for them.

The brunet stood in a fighting stance beside his silver-haired friend. "C'mon Riku, let's take this Nightmare down!" he shouted, his voice laced with determination.

"Right." Riku nodded and summoned his keyblade into hand. A smirk graced his lips when they both got the Nightmare's attention.

"Sora! Riku!" A voice shouted from behind the huge Tyranto Rex. Both Sora and Riku narrowed their eyes. They eyes widened in surprise when they say the third party member. A relieved look was seen on Riku's face and a smile was seen on Sora's. Hikari returned the looks with a grin and a thumbs up.

The roar of Tyranto Rex snapped them back from their short reunion. The three keyblade wielders quickly stood in a fighting stance with a keyblade in hand. Sora and Riku were facing the Nightmare straight on while Hikari was facing the Nightmare's dangerous tail. Without any warning, Tyranto Rex swiped his tail 360 degrees around. Luckily, all three keyblade wielders managed to jump away from its tail.

Riku skidded to a stop in a crouching position. He recovered quickly and dashed towards the Nightmare with Sora tailing behind him. Tyranto Rex was facing his back on them as he found the shinobi group more interesting. After the spin Tyranto Rex gave, the shinobis began to shoot fire balls at him, enraging him even more. The large T-Rex like Nightmare suddenly breathed a huge fire ball from his large mouth, surprising the shinobis.

"Hikari!" Riku and Sora shouted, hoping Hikari would get the message to protect the shinobis since she was the closest.

Hikari glanced over at Sora and Riku, before sharply turning her head to the group of shinobis. She used Flow Motion to quicken her movement. She landed in front of the group of shinobis and positioned her keyblade in a defensive stance, creating a barrier around herself and the shinobis, shocking the shinobis. The fire dispersed because of the barrier. It soon fades away, allowing Hikari to drop the barrier.

"Nice work Hikari!" Sora praised as he grinned up at his sister. He received a grin from his sister. The brunet jumped up using Flow Motion and swung his keyblade at Tyranto's leg. He lands a couple of hits on the same spot while avoiding getting clawed at the same time. He did a high-jump when Tyranto spun around, dangerously swinging his tail and it created dust clouds around him. "Aw! That's a cheap trick!" he complained, covering his eyes from the dirt and dust.

Riku clicked his tongue in annoyance before casting Aero to blow the dust cloud away. His eyes widened when Tyranto's tail was right in front of him. Sora and Riku let out a pained cry when Tyranto's tail made contact. They both flew across the street. The two of them landed on the ground with a grunt.

"Sora! Riku!" Hikari shouted worriedly as she watched Tyranto hit both her brother and her friend. She growled at the Nightmare and jumped, preparing to slash the Nightmare. The Nightmare suddenly swung its tail at Hikari while she was at mid-air. The brunette's eyes widened and tried to block the attack, but ended up the same as Sora and Riku. She landed a little further away from the other two.

The female keyblade wielder sat up with a groan. She stood up, standing alongside her brother and her friend. The three stared at the Nightmare with their eyebrows furrowed down. It was on now.

Suddenly, an idea struck Riku's head. He leaned down to whisper something to both Sora and Hikari. The two gave a smile and nodded, approving Riku's plan. The two brunettes lowered themselves to a fighting stance before sprinting off with Sora at the left and Hikari at the right.

"Blizzard!"

"Fira!"

At the same time, Sora and Hikari cast magic. The fire hit the materialized ice in the air, melting it to water. Sora casted another Fira, making the water steam up to create a thick layer of fog. It was perfect. Blinding the enemy and attacked when they were confused. The fog covered the two keyblade wielders as they charged at Tyranto. Sora slashed to right while Hikari went to the left, creating an X. Tyranto let out a loud cry and Sora jumped to the roof and into the air.

"Riku! Now!" Sora yelled.

Out of the fog, Riku jumped up high into the air. He flipped in the air a couple of times before meeting up with Sora. He placed his feet on Sora's and pushed using Flow Motion to create a much more impact while using Spark Dive at this height. Sora flew back to the roof where Hikari stood with a back-flip, watching as Riku lands the final blow. Riku thrust down his keyblade at Tyranto and created a shockwave around him. He quickly jumped away as the Nightmare fell forward, disappearing little by little.

A smirk was seen on Riku's lips when the Nightmare totally disappeared.

"Oh yeah! Way the go Riku!" Sora and Hikari cheered in unison, pumping their fists up in the air. The two jumped down from the roof, cheering Riku all the way. They summoned away their keyblade when they group up. "But you kind of showed off a little." Hikari added with a 'so-so' hand gesture.

Riku rolled his eyes and pulled the girl in a headlock, giving a noogie. "Yeah right, like you aren't?" He said as he began to drill his knuckle to Hikari's head, messing up her hair. The brunette responded with a lot of 'ow's and Sora just laughed. "Don't act like we didn't notice that you were showing off too. That oversized barrier? You over did it." He stated.

"Ow! How about Sora?! He showed off too!" Hikari accused, trying to drag Sora into her problem.

Sora nervously laughed as he backed away with his hands in front of him. "Hey, at least I didn't over do it." he defended.

"Hmm, he's right." Riku hummed and began to drill his knuckle on Hikari's head again.

The man, who was left by the brunette to sit on the roof, stared with an awed yet suspicious look. Those three kids suddenly appeared out of nowhere and helped them defeat the Beast! He reached his hand to lift the goggles to his forehead, trying to make sure that those three weren't an illusion. He furrowed his eyebrows down and a placed a hand on his chin. The three wield keys… His obsidian eyes snapped wide open, memories flashing before his eyes.

"That's right!" He shouted, placing his balled up right hand to his opened left hand. The man jumped down to the three kids, who took his sudden appearance not too well. The two brunettes shrieked and the silver-haired one stood in a fighting stance. The man quickly raised his hands up, waving them in front of his face. "Whoa! Whoa! Hold on there! I mean no harm!" he tried calming them down.

"Oh?" The silver-haired teen rose up an eyebrow.

The man nervously laughed, scratching the back of his head, remembering that this teen kind of reminds him of a certain jerkface Bakashi when they were still kids. "Yeah. I just want to thank him for catching me, kid. What's your name?" he asked with a grin at the 'boy' who saved him.

The 'boy' gave a WTH face. "I ain't a guy!" she shouted.

The man blinked. He was sure that this one was a boy. "Ups! Sorry! I didn't know! I mean with that short hair…I thought you were a boy! Please forgive me." he claps his hands and pleaded a little. He had to know who these kids are. He was one step closer to finding out who saved his life! Everyone kept telling him to just drop it and act as if he knew who it was, but as a curious man he is, he couldn't just drop it. "Ah! I know! I'll start with myself. My name's Obito Uchiha. What are yours?" he asked.

Both Sora and Hikari blinked, exchanging looks to each other for a few seconds.

"EH?! LOOPY?!" They both shouted in unison, pointing their finger as if accusing the man for something.

Riku and the man jumped a little at Sora and Hikari's shout. The two stared at the siblings with strange looks, especially Riku.

Obito's mouth hug open and his eyes were as wide as plates. "Eh?! No way! Sora! Hikari!" he did the same, pointing his finger accusingly at the two brunettes. The last time he heard, those two were taken away by their parents six years ago! It surprised him to see the two all grown up from little brats to teens. A grin broke out of Obito's lips. He gave a huge bear hug, hugging the two all at once. "It's great to see you two again! I miss you guys so much! You left without saying goodbye!"

"Can't…breathe…!" Hikari choked out dramatically.

"Ups! Sorry!" Obito apologized, releasing the two kids. A smile appeared on his lips as he stared at the two brunettes. They were taller that's for sure, but something else about them changed other than their physical appearance. He just can't seem to put his finger on it. "I'm glad that you two decided to come back after leaving us! You almost give Kushina a heart attack!"

"Yeah… I've heard. I met up with Naruto's Mom earlier today. I er…kind of ditched her in the middle of the street to get here… hehehe…" Hikari laughed sheepishly, scratching the back of her head. A look of horror suddenly replaced her sheepish one. "Oh shoot! What if she's going to hit me again! Gah! Sora! Hide me!" she shrieked childishly.

Obito shook his head at the girl's childishness. Looks like one thing would never change.

"Ehem," Riku coughed into his fist, making three pairs of eyes stare at him.

"Oh right! Remember the person we told you about? The one who always wear goggles in midday? This is him! Riku, meet Loopy—er Obito." Sora introduced, correcting himself when he said Obito's nickname instead of his name.

Obito grinned, "Nice to meet you, Riku."

Riku nodded his head. "Likewise." he narrowed his eyes at the group of shinobis staring them from the roof. He didn't trust people so easily, especially after he got his mind manipulated by Maleficent and got his body possessed by Ansem. The five shinobis had a grim look across their face. It was certainly not a very good idea to stay and chat. "As much as we like to stay and chat with you more Obito, but Sora, Hikari and I have to go." he quickly pulled the two along, dragging them away.

"Huh? Riku! What's going on? Where are we going?! I wanna stay and chat with Loopy!" Hikari complained as Riku quickened his pace.

"Ssssh," He hushed the girl and she quickly quieted down.

"What's the matter?" Sora asked.

"I'll explain later." Riku broke into a run with Sora and Hikari following him not far behind.

Obito was about to chase them, reaching his hand out when they were nearing the exit. "Wait—!"

Hikari turned back while running away, flashing him a grin and a goodbye wave.

Obito couldn't help but wave back, even when they were out from his eyesight. "Huh… that was weird…" he mumbled to himself.

"Ah!" 'Damn it! I forgot to ask them!' He held his head, regretting that he took his time welcoming the brunettes back when he should've asked about the key-like weapon. He sagged his shoulders in disappointment. Who knows where they'll be now? It was hard trying to find them last time and he bet they won't be easy to find this time either. He let out a loud sigh. 'Come to think of it… Riku seemed…aware of something.' He thought.

A loud cry of a bird broke his thoughts.

He shielded his eyes as he lifted his head up to stare at the black bird flying in a circle in the air. The man let out another loud sigh before he shunshin out from the Uchiha Compound to the Hokage's Tower, leaving a swirl of leaves behind. This was the second time his sensei assembled another meeting today.

"Lord Hokage! We cannot continue to live like this! Civilians are beginning to become over-worried. They demanded that we took care of the Beast right away!"

Minato listened to the complaints of his shinobis. He listened patiently, but deep down inside, he was tired of listening to the never ending complaints of the Beasts. They were here, there, and everywhere! Of course as Hokage, he would take action as soon as the Beast became a threat to the village but it was hard that he didn't know a single thing about them. He needed an expert, a real expert. He just wished someone would come up and claim to be the expert soon.

"Minato-sensei," One of his students voice broke his thoughts. The blond man turned to face his black-haired student. He was grateful that Obito could silence the whole group of shinobis alike.

"Yes, Obito?"

Obito straightened his posture as he felt all eyes were on him now. "W-Well… I met these three kids earlier at the compound today, the time when we were attacked by the Beast," he paused, swallowing as tension rise in the air. He took a deep breath before continuing. "They… they used a strange weapon to defeat the Beast without even trying that hard and they didn't even use hand seals to perform jutsus." he boldly stated, his eyes staring at his sensei with hope.

Gasps and murmurs went around the room.

Minato raised an eyebrow as Obito emphasized the words 'strange weapon'. He knew where this was going. Those three kids wield keyblades. "Hmmm…I see. What are their names?"

The Uchiha grinned, "Riku, Sora, and Hikari."

The Yondaime's eyes widened.

A/N:

The Konoha Shinobis are revering the Nightmares to 'the Beasts' until the keyblade wielders explain to them that they are Nightmares.

Six years time skip are in the Naruto's world, NOT the KH world since they are at the Mark of Mastery Exam which took place in the KH: 3D game

As you all know, this is an OC story, but I'll try to make it so that the other characters have their time to shine as well v

From Naruto's flashbacks, there weren't any names, but the first one is always Sora and the second one is Hikari.

SPOILERS for those who have not played KH: BBS and KH: 3D
I read from somewhere that there are more than seven sleeping worlds, but only seven are the right ones with the Keyhole of Sleep. If the keyblade wielders unlock the seven Keyholes of Sleep then the rest of the sleeping worlds would also be awaken. At least, that's what I read…

How did Sora and Hikari came back? Well, on their second day they suddenly disappeared because of Xehanort. I remember that in BBS he already has a minion (Braig). So since Braig was number II in the Organization… I thought why not make it two days? Day one was because of 'the old ghost man' and day two was because of Braig/Xigbar.
