Okay, i am really sorry for not being focused on this story. I mean i love this story and i don't want to abandon it either. It was just hard trying to develop how i could move on from the last chapter. I am sure by now people are wondering how will Venom trap Naruto into becoming one with it. It sounds gross, but i am sure people will understand. So here's to the next chapter. But, first we have comments to go through.

Spark681: Maybe Venom and Naruto can work together somehow.

Chapter 3: The Trap

Naruto struggled in his sleep, the recent dream he was having was about him running away from something dark and mysterious. This was typical of every dream he had, but this felt different. It felt almost like an alien was trying to make him wear it like a suit. Even the Kyuubi had this strange feeling that Naruto was being watched by something. The Nine Tailed Fox saw Naruto was struggling in his sleep. He scoffed it off and started to sleep himself.

In the real world, Naruto rose from his bed to wake up from the sudden nightmare he had.

"What the hell was that?"

One would call it a dream, you idiot.

"I know that, but it felt so real."

Sometimes, dreams could be like a vision of the future.

"What kind of dream makes me run from some dark creature."

We won't know that until you get your lazy butt into gear.

"Fine, fine."

Naruto started to get ready and go out of the door in order to prepare for today's game plan. Unknown to Naruto, there was an entity watching over him. He smirked with sinister intentions.

"Very soon, Naruto. You will be mine."

Naruto was rushing with Sakura and Kakashi to see what the next mission that awaited them. He wondered what exactly their mission would be. He was still creeped out by the way that female missing nin was flirting with him. Sakura noticed Naruto was feeling disgusted.

"Hey Naruto, what's wrong?" She asked. "Did you eat expired ramen again?"

"No, just a bit creeped out by the missing nin yesterday. Did she tell you anything?"

"Not really. She only pretended to have information on Sasuke. All she wanted was to get close to you." Sakura sighed. "She does like you."

"No thank you, i really don't need a girl like that in my life."

Sakura took offense to his tone. "What do you mean, 'a girl like that?',"

Naruto threw his arms up in defense, "I mean i just don't like a girl who is overconfident and persistence in getting a guy."

Sakura turned her head, glaring at the blonde haired ninja. "That's it."

She started to put Naruto in a headlock. "Oh gosh Sakura, i didn't mean it like that."

Kakashi stood there letting the two settle their differences seeing Naruto was attempting to leap out of the way of Sakura's punch.

And they wonder why i am always late for our meetings? Kakashi sighed looking at the two ninjas.

Meeting up with Tsunade, Kakashi looked at her. Tsunade knew that Naruto must have said something stupid to make Sakura punch him in the head a dozen times. Naruto, having multiple bruises and bumps on his head, was exhausted.

"So, what's our mission for today, lady Tsunade?" Sakura asked politely.

"Well, you and Kakashi will go back to the prison to interrogate that Missing Nin from yesterday. I still think she is hiding something." She told them.

"Wait, what about me?" Naruto said.

"Will you be patient or i will hit you in your face!" Tsunade yelled. "Anyways, your mission is different. Some villager asked for you personally and wouldn't take anyone else. He says he needs you to pick a flower from outside the village. Not too far though.

"To pick a flower?" Naruto raised one of his brows.

"Yes, if it is not too much trouble." The villager said walking into the office. He looked like a sickly old man who held his shirt looking at Naruto, Sakura and Kakashi.

"Wouldn't it be reasonable to send a genin?" Kakashi said.

"No, much too dangerous. I have heard of the exploits of the great Naruto Uzumaki. Pleases, i am willing to pay you anything." The villager said handing a large bag of money, which Tsunade was shocked. He was willing to pay four times the amount that a normal D rank mission allowed.

"DEAL!" Tsunade declared as Naruto was shocked that she only answered just because of the money.

"Thank you," The villager shook Naruto's hand. Naruto nervously shook before he felt the villager wasn't letting go. He had a tight grip.

"You can let go." Naruto said

"Opps, sorry," The villager said as he gripped his shirt. NOT YET, good things come to those who wait. There are too many people here. Too many witnesses. We need him alone, so we can be more successful.

Kakashi and Sakura looked to Naruto and the villager,

"We will see you later," Sakura smiled as she gave him a hug.

Kakashi put his thumb of good luck to Naruto before leaving with Sakura to the prison.

"Shall we be on our way," The villager was shaking nervously.

"Sure," Naruto nods before walking with the villager. The old man seemed to be nervous about something. Naruto couldn't tell at first, but the more they were traveling to the destination, the more nervous he grew.

"You okay over there?" Naruto decided to make some conversation.

"Yes, i am just really nervous on getting this flower." The old man spoke.

"Okay," Naruto looked at the destination, which was becoming as clear as day.

Once they arrived, Naruto saw the flower. He wasn't going to grab it randomly, so he decided to ask.

"Is this the flower you were seeking?"

"Yes it is," The old man shivered.

"Okay," Naruto smiled as he grabbed some gloves. He really had to thank Ino for the gloves she gave him for helping out at her family's shop.

"I am sorry, Naruto. I really am."

"It's no problem. It's just a flower." Naruto smirked as he prepared to put on the gloves.

"No, of bringing you here under false pretenses. You see, i was told to bring you here." The old man held the tree.

"By who?" Naruto looked around wondering who wanted him.

"BY US," Naruto heard the voice as he turned to see the old man in horror.

The old man's body started to be overtaken by a large creature made of black goo. Naruto saw the old man's body wasn't his anymore as the black goo covered the old man's body before seeing teeth rise and overlapped his face over the old man. The monster roared at Naruto.

"AHHHHH," Naruto jumped back a little. He brought his kunai out as he looked at the creature. He saw the slime dripping from the creature as he was unsure of what it was.

"So, you are Naruto. It is great that we finally get to meet you. You look more delicious in person." The creature licked its lips with its tongue.

"What the hey are you?" Naruto told it.

"We have many names, but you may call us, VENOM!" Venom roared.

"I don't know what you are or what do you want with me?" Naruto said

"We just want to be worn by you. You have great anger and rage. So much anger and rage. It feels so good." Venom smirked

Naruto felt disgusted as he learned what exactly this thing wanted with him. "No thank you, i already had one lady hit on me. Now, some black goo wants me to wear it like a suit. No thanks, pal."

"Awwwww, do we have to do this the easy way or the more painful way?" Venom smirked.

"The way that doesn't involve me wearing you." Naruto said before he started to throw some shurikens at it. However, that had no effect since it merely absorbed the shurikens and threw it back to him.

"Looks like we're going to damage you first," Venom roared before charging at Naruto. Naruto leaped out of the way, however he didn't anticipate that Venom had any powers. The large creature pointed his palm at Naruto as he pulled him back to deliver a punch.

"ARGH!" Naruto said as he hit his back on the tree. He slide down as Venom smirked. "For a powerful host, i would have thought you would have put up a better fight."

"I'm just full of surprises. Naruto said before he flew back keep his distance. He made some hand signs before shouting. "Shadow Clone Jutsu!"

Venom was shocked that there were multiple Naruto's, but that only made him grin a bit more. Venom saw three clones going to confront him, while two attempted to retreat. "I don't think so,"

Venom then opened his palms to reveal a black goo string pulling on Naruto. The ninja became suck as Naruto was pulled towards the creature. Two of his clones rolled to the side before dispersing into smoke. The three Naruto slides down on the ground towards Venom. Two of them then disappeared into smoke, leaving the one Naruto.

"Got anymore tricks?" Venom giggled. Playing with Naruto was fun. It was the best fun he had in years. Venom believed that the ninja could run circle around his previous host.

"Just this, RASENGAN!" Naruto screamed before a light blue ball appeared in his right hand and started to make its way towards Venom's chest. The beast didn't move away as he decided to take it head on.

"AHHHHHH!" Venom screamed before Naruto's Rasengan took damage on it. Naruto stood there seeing the chest of the old man. Naruto gripped his shoulders and attempted to pull him, but not before seeing the black goo coming to the chest once more. Naruto pulls and slips down on the ground. He wasn't able to save the old man, but saw the goo attempting to coat itself in Naruto. He wiggles the goo off him and it seemed to work for the most part.

"YOU CAN'T STOP US!" Venom roared as it looked to the ninja.

Naruto was about to leap out, but the black goo, that he thought he got rid of, clung him on the ground like metal to a magnet. Naruto looked to the creature and attempted to pull some explosive kunais. Suddenly, Venom gripped Naruto's hands to his hand. He coated his goo and covered Naruto's hands instantly.

"Well, don't we have ourselves in a bit of a bind here. I take it that you are hoping to explode my hands? Well, that would happen and my hands would recover, yet i am sure your hand's won't survive the attack." Venom giggled. Naruto growled as Venom made a great point.

"Listen, we will make you a deal. we shall release the old man in exchange for you. That's all we ask and all that we want. Otherwise, the old man isn't going to live a long life...well longer than he wants to." Venom smirked and chuckled.

Naruto didn't have any options. He knew that the old man was alive, but he wasn't sure how to get out of the deal. His hands and feet were stuck.

"Fine, deal."

"Good!" Venom grinned. As promised, Venom spit up the old man from the back. "You get out of here right now."

The old man ran as Naruto felt his whole body was surrendering to this creature. More and more, Naruto was being coated in the black goo. It didn't feel painful, yet it felt slimy. Naruto then felt his whole body was on fire as he groans at the pain as he felt being emerged in the Venom suit. When Venom's head overlaps Naruto's, it was complete. Naruto was now Venom's next host.

What happens now?

"Oh, not much. You can resume your normal life."

My body is now black goo, how is this suppose to be a normal life.

"Oh, you can turn yourself back into your flesh self, just concentrate.

Naruto focused his body to return to his fleshy self, unknown to them eight smaller blobs of goo started to leap off of Venom and started making their escape from where Venom was. Naruto soon felt that he was back to normal.

"This power...feels strange."

You better believe it, Naruto. We don't mean you no harm. In turn for making you the host, we grant you strength, agility, and power ten times over. We make you stronger, faster, and possibly smarter.

Yeah, that's a laugh. The day Naruto gets smarter.

"I can hear you,"

Wait, what the hell is that?

"Oh, Venom i would like you to meet the Kyuubi, your other roommate."

"What other roommate?" Venom said as they now entered the mindscape of Naruto.

Naruto had half of his body while the other half was the black goo. They arrived at the castle, which the Kyuubi looked down at him.

"THE HEY IS THAT THING!" Venom freaked out.

The name is Kurama. The beast roared as it looked down at Naruto and his other roommate.

Venom freaked seeing that a large nine tailed fox was in a cage. He felt the anger and rage off the creature. This is how he sensed the hatred and rage off Naruto. It was this creature that made Naruto a target for Venom.

Relax, we have a lot to talk about. Maybe about our current living arrangements.

Well, that's just great. Naruto has the Kyuubi, now he has Venom. How much more can we take this.

I had to laugh at the first part with Sakura was going to hurt Naruto. Sorry about the short battle scene. I didn't want Naruto having much to fight since he doesn't know what Venom is weak to. Don't tell me, i know a lot about Venom to know everything. I have it planned out. But, i am sure that you guys have figured out what is going to happen next.
