Rose glared at her friend as she panted breathlessly away. It just was not fair. She was a far more rough and tumble person and yet somehow, she was the one that was left breathless, while he had barely a hair out of place.

Scorpius however was completely oblivious to her glare of course. Or was simply choosing to not pay any attention to it. Neither one would really surprise her if she was honest.

"Come on Rose," he said as he ran past her. "You did say you could keep up with me."

Rose glared at his back as he continued almost casually and Rose wondered to herself why she was even doing this again.

Then Meridith Davies came around the corner, with her stupidly long legs that went up to her armpits and silky blond hair that looked like it belonged in a shampoo advert.

"You'll never catch Scorpius like that Rose," she said as she passed and Rose glared at her retreating back. THIS was why she was up at some ungodly time in the morning running around the castle grounds. She might not share Scorpius's love of running, but she had no intention of allowing that bitch to have him!
