Some of the guards had told Vilvi that Loki had gone to see Frigga where she remained at Odin's side during his sleep. Ever since she agreed with Volstagg to try harder to convince Loki to end his recent reign of mischief she had been searching for him to begin her attempts.

As she got closer to reaching Odin's chambers she began to hear the soft voices of Loki and Frigga carrying out to her. These things happened randomly to Vilvi; a sense heightening during moments of unexplained emotions, as if her body was trying to help her in difficult situations. Now she could hear Loki and Frigga speaking as if she was in the same room as them. "So why did he lie?" Loki's monotone voice caught Vilvi off guard with his question. She paused in her place, just around the corner from Odin's chamber.

"He kept the truth from you so you would never feel different." Frigga seemed to be explaining. "you are our son, Loki."

Vilvi slowly turned around the corner just enough to peek at the door to Odin's chamber which was surrounded by a full detail of guards. Vilvi knew if she approached the guards would speak to her to and Loki would hear and the conversation she was now in the middle of would end and her new curiosity would be unfed. Vilvi remained where she was, and listened on to the conversation.

"And we your family." Frigga went on. "We must not lose hope that your father will return to us and your brother."

"What hope is there for Thor?" Loki seemed offended by the mere concept of Thor returning.

"There's always a purpose for everything your father does." Frigga reassured him.

There were no further words spoken between them, instead she now heard soft footsteps in the room before the sound of the chamber doors opening. Vilvi acted quickly to take a few steps back, listening closely as the footsteps neared her before she began to walk; with perfect timing Vilvi came around the corner and bumped straight into Loki as he walked. "Vilvi," He whispered her name softly, turning to look to see if the guards noticed before he quickly grabbed her arms and turned the corner to force her up against the wall.

"I was looking for you." She whispered. "I wanted to apologize."

"Apologize?" He seemed confused.

"For the way I spoke to you." Vilvi looked away from him, afraid if she looked him in the eye he might figure out she was lying. "I realize now I've been quick to judge, after all I don't fully understand your reasoning as to why you've chosen to do this and it's wrong of me to question you without first knowing the full extent of the situation."

"Do you…do you mean that Vilvi?" He spoke with a tone of excitement in his voice, as if he suddenly felt justified in his actions having her say these things to him.

Hesitantly, Vilvi returned her eyes to him, locking in a gaze with his gorgeous hues. "I want to be as supportive of you as possible Loki, but for me to do this I need you to be honest with me Loki. If you truly want me to be by your side there needs to be some give and take."

"Vilvi," He whispered her name again as he rose a hand to touch against her cheek, "You have no idea how much this means to me." He leaned closer to her, pressing his forehead against her own. "I promise to tell you everything Vilvi, but first I need your help with something." Loki took a step back from Vilvi and grabbed her wrist as he began to lead her away.

They both walked with a sense of rush in their steps, remaining silent the entire way. Finally, they reached the library where Loki shut and locked the doors behind them before scurrying around the make sure they were alone. As he searched the library for any extra signs of life, Vilvi found her way to her favorite chair in front of a big bay window when Loki finally acknowledged her. He stood in front of her, kneeling down and placing his hands on her knees. He looked up at her with this sense of wonder in his eyes, "What can you tell me about projection?"

"Projection?" Vilvi was taken off guard by his interest. "It a scouting spell we use in Veanari during war, it allows the caster to project their inner self, or soul as many refer to it as, to another location. The body itself remains behind and incredibly vulnerable, the soul is completely undetected by any unless otherwise desired by the caster. It takes an incredible amount of focus, only highly skilled casters can perform it successfully without the assistance of a charmed circle, in which case another caster must be present to monitor the energy of the circle to ensure no damage comes to the projected soul."

"So you can help me?" Loki spoke as he stood up, taking hold of Vilvi's hands and pulling her up to her feet.

"Excuse me?"

"I've never attempted a spell of this caliber, but you're more skilled in magic than anyone I've ever seen and you actually know this spell. You're the only person in Asgard who can help me."

"W-where do you want to project?"

"I want to go see Thor."
