Everyone was shocked, especially Kankuro and Temari because in their entire lives Gaara never showed any type of interest in anything or anybody, better yet emotions period.
"Did you say something?"
Everyone immediately ended their thoughts and went back to Naruto and Gaara.
'Wow didn't think he'll talk'
'That surprised me too kit…..so are you?'
'What?'
'You're so clueless!'
'What are you talking about Kyuu?'
'He asked you for your name'
'Oh….should I tell him? I don't know him'
'I think so…he looks like he'll kill for his answer'
'He won't be able to kill me but I don't want him stalking me for my name or asking around'
'Hahaha got a stalker boy on your case….better watch out kit'
'Shut up!'
"What's your name?" Gaara said in a very pissed; dark voice.
'Damn, I only asked him to repeat it'
Naruto made sure to make eye contact, "Its Naruto"
"Naruto….." Gaara said in a whispery; creepy tone that made Naruto back up a little.
'Kit better go this boy looks dangerous' Kyuubi said in a concerned voice.
'I know but he has a strong grip though and won't let go'
"Well hur-"
"Oi redhead let go of my teammate" Sasuke had his hand on Gaara's arm and glaring at him to warn him, but Gaara was ignoring Sasuke completely. Sasuke was about to say something else till sand came up. Sasuke jumped back in a fighting stance with a kunai in his hand, ready to fight.
"Chuunin" Gaara said but everyone just looked at him clueless, had no idea what he was talking about.
"HEY! STOP!" Naruto yelled. Sasuke and Sakura were running towards Naruto because sand was covering both of Naruto and Gaara.
"WAIT!" Sakura extended her arm to reach Naruto but they were gone in a flash. Sasuke had rage boiling up and threw kunais at Temari and Kankuro. They both saw this and dodged quickly.
"Sasuke! What are you doing?!" Sakura said pretty shocked but Sasuke just ignored her.
Kankuro and Temari glanced at each other and sighed, they were mad that he threw kunais at them but they knew why and decided to let it slide.
Temari decided to speak, "Look just chill ok?" But despite of what Temari said Sasuke still looked like he would murder them.
"Sigh, we are Gaara's siblings, that boy just now, I'm Temari and this is Kankuro. Gaara said 'Chuunin' so he's probably at the Chuunin Exam with your teammate…I believe her name was Naruto?"
"Ummm yeah it is…." Sakura said, "Uh this is Sasuke and my name is Sakura nice to meet you" she bowed down and so did Temari and Kankuro.
"Come on Sakura lets go", Sasuke calmed down a little and wanted to leave fast. Sakura bowed one more time and ran to catch up with Sasuke.
"What do you think Gaara wanted to do with that girl?" Kankuro asked
"I don't know honestly…he even asked her for her name"
Kankuro nodded in response, "Well let's go and find out"
Meanwhile at the entrance of the Chuunin Exam
Kakashi was reading Make-Out Tactics as usual till he heard a whoosh sound and turned, only to see Naruto in a body of sand with another boy.
"Naruto where's Sasuke and Sakura? And who's that?" asked Kakashi
Naruto looked at sensei, "I WAS with them till Konohamaru got into trouble with this dude's teammates (points finger at Gaara) and I had to go get him then one thing lead to another then this dude (points again at Gaara and he looks at her) and I talked then…..well he basically kidnapped me (Kakashi looks pissed at the new information and takes a kunai out, Naruto notices) BUT I'm fine (smiles softly). Kakashi calms down and is happy that she finally smiled since this morning she had a fake one.
"Well since you're here you can go in with….-"Kakashi motioned his hand towards Gaara and looking at Naruto. Naruto knew what Kakashi wanted but she didn't know either. She looked at the redhead
"Wha-"
'Sabaku no Gaara'
'What?...that's his name?'
'Yeah I know because I'm the Nine-Tailed so I know the other tails and their bearers'
'Fair…makes sense thanks Kyuu'
'Sure brat'
"So stubborn" Naruto thought
'I HEARD THAT!'
*Giggles* Gaara and Kakashi looked at her like she was crazy
"Kakashi-sensei his name is Sabaku no Gaara"
"Ok Naruto, go in with him and I'll tell the others that you two came" said Kakashi
Naruto nodded and smiled Gaara stood there like a statue and didn't say a word. They walked in as Kakashi watched. He was still worried for Naruto because the boy's aura felt dangerous and all the changes Naruto made this morning made him even more worried than usual.
Inside the Exam
Gaara and Naruto made their way inside and COMPLETELY ignored the shinobis that was giving them a death stare. Naruto got annoyed and gave them her OWN glare, everyone couldn't move her glare was too intense, like the glare said "move an inch and I'll swoop in and kill you". The other Rookie 11 was very shocked, even more shocked than Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi. All the teams even Ten-Ten, Lee, and Neji went up to see what's up with Naruto.
Kiba was the first to say something,"Yo Naruto! What happened?! You look better than usual HAHAHA"
"Arff Arff"
Everyone either looked like they were in agreement or nodded in response.
Hinata wanted to say something,"Na…n..r..ru-" but couldn't because Gaara was staring very hard at her as if he didn't want her to talk so she closed her mouth. Everyone noticed but didn't want to say anything to Gaara because he looked VERY intimidating. Naruto thought Hinata as friend so she instead said something.
"You're still here?"
Gaara eyes met hers and opened his mouth but immediately closed it, Naruto saw this
"You were made with a mouth, use it"
Naruto placed her hand up to Gaara's face and put her thumb on his lips. Gaara didn't swat her hand away because her touch was comfortable, so comfortable that he closed his eyes. Everyone in the room was staring at them like they were in a movie.
Ino asked Shikamaru,"What's with Naruto? Her clothes and her behavior are TOTALLY different than what when we saw before!"
Shikamaru was too shocked and distracted to say anything back to Ino.
"Shikamaru are you lis-"
"NARUTO!"
"GAARA!"
