Blood and Bone
This land, its people, it's all gone,
We survive amongst the dead.
Looking through the dark in horror,
Always with our sense of dread.
…
No matter what we do it seems,
We can't endure against the dark.
We're on the brink of our extinction,
Faded is our spark.
…
I venture out into the wild,
Corpses feed the ground.
Blood is mixed with soil,
And by time our bones are ground.
…
And our foes lie out here also,
Their blood and bone, it looks the same.
Torture to my eyes to see,
Bringing back old pains.
…
This is not our world anymore,
Long past is our dawn.
So to the setting sun I wander,
Consigned to fate forlorn.
