Ch 7

The Yuuki household was silent, as the girls stare at the boy in front of them. A boy who had disappeared a month and two weeks ago, "Rito!" Lala yells as she tackles him to the ground. "I've missed you." She says hugging him tightly.

"I missed you too Lala, but can you please get off me?" He asks as Lala hugs him.

She gets off of Rito, "Okay." She says as she helps him up.

When he got up he took notice of the other girls, several of them where blushing, but others where mad. Nana looked like she was going to smack Rito if Momo wasn't holding on to her. Yami, who was still holding Mikan, looked like she was going to kill Rito. Mikan was very red, as red as Rito usually is, in embarrassment and anger. "Is it true?" She asks.

Rito looks her in the eye, "Yes, it is." She begins to tear up again. "But, even though it is true, you are still my precious little sister." He says with a kind-hearted smile.

Mikan looks at him, the boy she knew her whole life, ("Onii-chan.") She then gestures to Yami to let go. "Onii-chan!" She cries as she runs to him giving him a hug like she'd never given before.

Surprised by the embraced, Rito smiled, ("Mikan.") They continue to hug until a voice speaks up.

"You're the Elemental Devil, Rito!?" Nana yells in disbelief and anger.

Momo whispers in Nana's ear, ("There goes your plan to have Rito-san to yourself, Nana.")

Nana ignoring her twin, "How can you be the Elemental Devil Rito? You're not even Devilukean." She asks red in the cheeks.

Scratching his neck he says, "I guess I should explain, it started the day after the incident." He explains what happened to him.

{Rito is now narrating.} [-I had awoken in a dark cave near a campfire, with the smell of tea in the air. I looked around and I saw an elderly man siting up looking at me. "Good to see you survived your metamorphosis my boy." He said to me.

I looked at him and asked, "Metamorphosis? What do you mean and who are you."

The man looked at me with his gray eyes and a smile, "I am Oji, I'm your uncle." He said sternly as something behind him stirred. Then I saw it, a long black tail tipped with a triangle.

Stunned I was to say the least, sitting in front of an old Devilukean claiming he was my uncle. "Wait are you saying that I'm..." I trailed off as I noticed my hands, "What happened to my hands?" I asked in a panic.

Oji just chuckled at me, "I told you, you went through a Metamorphosis. Did you not feel strange yesterday at school?" He asked me.

I thought about it, "I thought I was just tired." I said to him.

He smiled and pulled out an old book from inside a bag next to him, "That's what the 'Metamorphosis of the Elemental Devil' does to ye." He said as he opened the old book.

I looked at him, my curiosity had gotten me, "The Elemental Devil, what's that?" I asked him.

He opened the book and handed it to me. The page he turned to had a picture of what he called the 'Elemental Devil' a man wearing armor with black spiky hair, his hands the same as mine. He also has five tales tipped with a different colored triangle, and what appears like gargoyle or demon wings, but his face was hard to make out. "Are you saying I'm going to look like this?" I asked him.

He then snickered, "You already do, my boy." He then held up a hand mirror.

In the mirror was me only my hair wasn't the same, it was black and behind me was the wings that I saw in the book. I then reached my hand back and found that there was several tails coming out of my lower back. To say, 'I was surprised' was an understatement, I was freaking out.

It felt like hours until I had calmed down, "Are you done yet?" Oji asked me in annoyance in his voice.

I sat down and ran my hand through my hair, and I asked him, "So, What am I?"

He looked at my and said, "You're half Devilukean and half human, but your human half has been more dominant up until now." I just looked at him. He continued, "When you were born, there were no sign of Devilukean traits in you. Your father wanted nothing to do with you, so your mother 'my sister' asked me to take you to Earth and find a family to raise you." It was a lot of information to take in, "I know this is hard for you to take in all at once, so I'll let you rest and think about it." He then got up and walked away, leaving me to my thoughts.

I sat there, staring at the fire thinking for what felt like hours, 'Now I know why.' I stood and went to look for Oji, I didn't have to look far, as we were just inside the entrance to the cave. I saw him watering a herb garden just outside, "Can I ask you something?" I asked him.

He turned and looked at me, "Yes."

I looked at him, "Did they give me a name, my Devilukean parents?" I asked.

"Your mother did, she named you Tixor." He told me.

I looked down and mumbled, ("Tixor"). I then looked back at him, "You said I was half Devilukean, so where did the human half come from?" I asked my Devilukean uncle.

He looked at me with a serous expression, "Our human ancestor had lived here in this area around four hundred years ago before he was abducted by a group of aliens involved in illegal underground fighting." He closed his eyes and shook his head as if he was disgusted by the idea. "That is where he met Prince Luke Deviluke."

I looked at him in shock, "Gid's ancestor?" I asked.

"Yes. After he arrived there the two of them became best friends, and they spent a year planning their escape. They finally escaped and made it to Deviluke where Luke asked him to stay and be his bodyguard. And the rest is pretty much history." He said as we walked back into the cave.

We sat back down near the fire and continued talking, "So, I'm a Devilukean?" I asked him.

"Yes, but not just any Devilukean. You are the Elemental Devil, a Devilukean deity."

"A deity? That can not be, I don't know how to be a deity." I told him.

"Don't worry I'll train you, so rest up tonight and in the morning we'll head out."

The next morning we woke and headed out. The first thing Oji taught me was to fly, it took me a while to get the hang of it. After I could fly admirable we left Japan and headed to other parts of the world. In Asia he taught me to harness my electric powers. In Europe I learned to harness my ice powers. In Africa I learned to harness my water powers, it was also I found out I could understand animals. I started to think of you girls, I missed you all so much. I now know why Mikan reacted the way she did when Celine sprayed her with pollen. As I trained in South America learning to harness my wind powers, I began to hear the voices of the plants and it sort of reminded me of what Momo had said to me once; that many of my female friends like me in a special way. I had desisted to find out if what she said was true when I returned home. But before I could return Oji took me to train in the northern part of North America so I can harness my fire powers.

A month had gone through by the time we returned, Oji had given me some armor similar to what was in the book. I then went to an old junk yard and I went to work making a mask I could use with the mirror phone I had made a few weeks before. I was then flying to the house when I saw Lacospo and his frog attacking the Magical Girl Kyouko set...-] {Rito is finish narrating.}

"And that's what happened." He told them.

Lala looks at him and asks, "So, every time we talked on the video phone you were just outside?"

Rito sighs and looks down, "Yes." He says.

The girls where all thinking to themselves about what they had talked about with Rito when he was behind his mask. One by one they came up to give Rito a hug and then returned to their seats.

Oshizu walked up to him, "I remembered his name." She says shyly.

Rito looks at her, "Otire was his name right?" Oshizu looks at him, "He was my ancestor, your old friend that disappeared one night."

Oshizu had a few tears running down her check, "Yes." Was all she said before she hugged him. They continue to hug until they hear the door bell ring.

"I'll get it." Mikan says as she leaves the room. "Lala, it's your dad." She yelled from the door.

After hearing that Rito started to panic, 'What is he doing here?' He thought as he scrambled to retrieve his mask from the floor and put it back on, just as Gid walked in. "Gid-sama, what brings you here this evening?" Rito/Tixor asked trying to sound calmed.

Gid looked at him, "Lala has informed me that Yuuki Rito will be returning sometime today, is he here yet?" He said sternly.

Rito/Tixor looks at Lala and groaned, "You told him?" He asks the pink haired girl.

Lala looks at him shyly, "Sorry Rito, I didn't know then." She says.

He sighs, "I guess I don't need this anymore." He says removing his mask again.

Gid looked at him, "What, how?" He asks with anger in his voice .

"It's a long story." Rito says as he then tells Gid what happened.

Gid closes his eyes, "That explains so much." He says calmly, causing Rito to release the breath he was holding. "Oh, by the way that favor you asked for is finish." Rito looks at Gid in surprise that he did it so fast. "I even installed a cloaking device to give the elision that it looks the same from Earth, just to make sheer the earthlings done panic." Gid says with a toothy grin.

Rito returns the smile, "Thanks, I appreciate it." He says.

"No problem." He says before walking out the door. "Say 'high' to Zastin for me when you see him." He says before leaving.

Rito then heard the voice of Momo, "So, what was this favor you asked dad to do?" She asks.

Rito turns toward her, "I asked him to terra form the moon, so we can live there together one day." He says with a smile as he rubs he's neck.

Mea then spoke up, "Speaking of living together, what did you do with Nemesis? Is she alright?" She asked.

Rito snapped his fingers as if remembering, "That's right, I'll be back in a Devilukean minute." He says teleporting away. Then he reappears with Nemesis next to him with her arms folded as if she was annoyed. "I'm back." He says. He then turns to Nemesis, "Nemesis, I believe you have something to say." He says.

She looks at the others, "I promise I'll be nice and share Rito with all of you." She says bitterly. Mea then gave her old master and big hug, "Mea let go of me." Nemesis demanded.

"No." Was Mea's only reply as the other girls and Rito joined in on the hug.

They then disbursed after a few minutes, "Rito, school's going to start in a few days. How will everyone react when they see you like this?" Lala asks.

Rito reached into his pocket, "Easy, I'll use this I made the other night." He says as he pulls out a golden bracelet. He then puts it on and all at once his wings and tails disappear. The colors on his hands revert back to the color of the rest of his skin. And the blackness in his hair dissipated and was replaced by a brilliant orange. Standing before them was what appeared to be the old Rito. "It took me a while to make this little bracelet, but it finally paid off." He says in a triumphant tone.

"Wow Rito, you look just like your old self." They all say together.

After that day they spent the last of their school days as if nothing happened. And when they all finally graduated from high school they moved into their home on the moon. Where they married.
