I hope you enjoy, I'm sorry I haven't updated in over three years. I got the inspiration for this from the Originals season 4, when Klaus talks about Kol's snoring.

"KOL, STOP SNORING!" came the irritated voice of Kol's older brother Klaus.

Finn, Elijah were sleeping in the bed, at the right-hand side of the room. Klaus and Kol were sleeping on the left. There was only three inches between the two beds, in the packed room. Klaus had the misfortune of sleeping next to Kol every night. His snoring was loud- pig like and very annoying. Most of the time it was only mildly irritated, and sleep would soon come. But there were some nights where it was almost impossible to get to sleep, and all the young men would be tired the next morning...

...Except for Kol of course.

While asleep- it was almost impossible to wake him up.

"The sound of his snores could give Thor a run for his money" Finn complained.

"Who knew something so small and sweet, could make such a terrible noise" Elijah agreed.

"Maybe we could ask our parents if we could sleep where Rebekah sleeps." Klaus suggested.

Their Mother and Father, as well as Rebekah, sleep in the room opposite- snore free...

...They're so lucky!

"I tried that before, they said no" Finn told them, "He said be a man and deal with it"

"That's easy for them to say" Klaus huffed, "They're not sharing a room with him"

"What are we going to do?" Elijah moaned, "I need my sleep"

"We just try to make the best of it" Finn said, "It's not like we can just leave him out in the pouring rain"

Finn, Elijah and Klaus- all eyes looked at the snoring Kol. They couldn't...could they?

No Father would kill them...but it was tempting.

...

Kol woke up bright and refreshed the next morning. The others on the other hand- looked exhausted and had bags under their eyes...

...They looked like they like they were mad at him.

Did he do something wrong?

"Did you three not sleep well last night?" he as he was checking his appearance in a mirror.

Something he did frequently.

They looked like they were about to murder him.

"Only because you're snoring kept us awake!" Klaus complained.

"I don't snore!" Kol defended himself.

The other three all snorted in unison.

"You snore is so loud Kol, that you make the room vibrate" Finn told him.

"Kol" Elijah said more calmly to his little brother, "It's true, your snoring has become a slight issue".

"A slight issue!" Klaus exclaimed, "That's putting it mildly! Do you know how much sleep I've lost because of his pig-like snoring?"

"Your all lying, I don't snore!" Kol got up and to his secret hiding spot.

King Ramesses II, was watching a fly with interest. But he perked up as soon as he saw his young master. The King always had time for him. Kol sat down on the grass and let the King sit on his lap. He stroked the rabbit's soft fur as the King put his head on Kol's stomach.

"Oh Ramesses, my brothers are angry with me. They told me, my snoring keeps them awake. Even if it's true, what can I do about it anyway? It's not like there's anywhere else I keep sleep. I think my brothers are just being over dramatic"

The King buried his head even further for comfort.

"You always understand Ramesses" Kol petted him.

...

When Kol came back to lunch after doing his chores, Klaus, Finn and Elijah were all still giving him evils. Like their lack of sleep was something he did on purpose. The whole family was sitting down for a stew. Finn looked like he could barely keep his eyes open- the other two just looked plain exhausted.

"Please, can Sir Snore-a-lot be moved to a different room?" Klaus practically begged.

"I said no!" their Father refused.

"Or maybe mother could cast a spell" Elijah suggested.

"I told you, you should deal with it like men" he refused again.

"Surely my snoring isn't that bad!" Kol whined.

"SHUT UP KOL!" the men all yelled.

Esther looked like she was gathering up the courage to say something.

"Maybe we could take him just for the night"

Rebekah didn't look very happy with this suggestion. Their Father looked at the desperate faces of his sons and conceded.

"Just one night then" he agreed reluctantly.

Klaus looked like his prayers have been answered, Elijah looked like he was looking forward to a good night's sleep; Finn on the other hand was fast asleep.

...

"KOL! STOP SNORING! I need my beauty sleep!" Rebekah yelled at him.

Rebekah, Mikael and Esther were all beginning to understand what their sons were complaining about. But for once, Finn, Elijah and Klaus were he one's getting a good night's sleep.

"Can't you put a spell on him Esther?" he echoed his son's suggestion.

"The spell requires an ingredient that only grows in the spring"

Rebekah looked like she was about to cry. It was autumn!

"Can you do a spell to defend him against the cold?" He wondered.

"Yes"

"Then I have a plan"

...

The next morning the three boys woke up well rested. The parents and Rebekah were tired, but not as tired as they would've been.

Kol woke up in a very strange place- he woke up on the roof. There was a rope that tied him to the roof so he didn't fall over. Why is he on the roof? Klaus came out of the house and turned to look at his brother on the roof.

"How did you sleep Kol?" he asked with a grin on his face, "We all slept like babies"

Kol stuck his tongue out at his brother, who just laughed at him in return.

It's hard being the youngest brother.
