A/N: Prompt 14: Green! HAVE SPIRK with a side of Chulu. Just some fluffy stuff…

A hint of green

Jim Kirk, famous womaniser, had a problem. The problem was sat quietly at his post, working. It took all of Jim's willpower not to jump up and cuddle the emotionless Vulcan. Sighing, he turned back to look at his helmsmen. They were looking at each other, a small, loving smile playing over the Russian's lips. Graveyard shifts always brought out relationships; everyone was softer at night. Because it was a graveyard shift, there was just the four of them on the bridge: Spock, Chekov, Sulu and Jim. Frowning, Jim stood up and began to pace. Chekov turned to look at him.

"Somezheeng vrong, sir?" Jim didn't reply, merely walked over to his navigator and picked him up. Shrieking, the Russian wriggled until Jim deposited him in Sulu's lap, who had half stood up in worry. Immediately relaxing, Sulu automatically wrapped his arms around Chekov who nuzzled back into him. There was a sharp pang of jealousy in Jim's chest as the pilot kissed the navigator's ear tenderly. Giggling, Chekov clung to Sulu's shoulders as he kissed him. Jim turned away as the kiss became less innocent and more intimate, only to come face to face with Spock. Looking confused, the First Officer asked,

"I do not understand. Are Lieutenant Sulu and Ensign Chekov in a romantic relationship?" Jim couldn't help but snigger.

"Yes, Spock. I think they are in love." At this, Sulu removed his hand from Chekov's hair, put his thumb up then made a rather rude gesture at the two of them; Jim burst out laughing. Sulu returned his attention to Chekov's mouth and tongue. Even more confused, Spock raised his eyebrows and Jim swore internally. Confused Spock was the cutest thing. Suddenly, emboldened by the coffee he had been drinking and the love between the younger officers, Jim grabbed Spock's face and kissed him. Spock seemed very surprised but soon relaxed into the kiss. When they broke apart, Spock kept his hands on Jim's shoulder, face deep green with a blush.

"J-Jim…"

"Shut up, Spock and kiss me." Much to Jim's delight and Chekov and Sulu's catcalls, Spock obliged.
