Bo stood motionless. Hearing Lauren's voice after three months sent chills up and down her spine, goosebumps covering her arms. She peered into the blackness, it was so dark all around her, Bo couldn't see her hand in front of her face. "Lauren." The succubus called into the abyss. Turning to face where she last heard her lover's voice.

"Bo, I am here," the blonde's voice was a little shaky. Lauren was flooded with emotions. She felt like she's been locked in darkness for months on end. Then she felt it. The pothien could sense the succubus. There was no sign of the brunette, Lauren could hear Bo, as if she was standing right beside her. Pausing for a moment before racing over to the wall, her hands gliding over the cool surface. "Bo," she whispered as she leaned into it. She wanted to charge through what was dividing them. To be able to hold Bo as she apologized for the emotional damage she caused trying to save the brunette.

Bo was against the other side of the wall in two steps. Her hands in front of her, her chest practically against the surface, her face inches away, "Lauren, are you okay?" Her first instinct was to protect the pothien, even if she was ages older.

Lauren tilted her head down as the small smile tugged at the corners of her mouth. She couldn't help but to think it was just like Bo, the female knight in shining armor, the woman who stole her heart. "I'm okay. Are you?"

The brunette didn't move from her spot afraid it was all an illusion. Everything escaped her mind, the temple, the dawning, where Dyson was. The succubus glanced left to right seeing nothing but pitch black. "I'm fine Lauren. Just stand back." Bo felt like she waited an eternity for this moment, for Lauren to be awake and remember them. She stood back bringing her fists up to her chin, pivoting her right foot as she swung her right hand into the wall. Her fists pounded the wall one after the other. Bo could feel the skin on her knuckles split open, the warmth from the blood that was oozing between them. It didn't stop her. She bit into her cheeks to prevent the scream from escaping her lips.

The blonde was standing a few inches back, listening to the sounds of Bo's fists hit one after the other. Lauren could hear the thumping slow down. The pothien had to do something she wouldn't allow the brunette to break her hands. Lauren started to explore the room with her hands, going further away from the pounding. It almost felt like she was turning a corner. Faint light peered into the upper corner of the pothien's room. Her eyes automatically squinting as she adjusted to the dim lighting. Forever in the dark made her eyes burn. The blonde made her way towards the faint illumination in the room. It only allowed a sliver of light showing a grey wall and cement floor. Lauren moved her hands up and down the wall. There was a way out she just needed to focus. The scientist in her was taking over, light was coming from somewhere. She stepped back glancing up, her neck arching as she followed its' path up. A wall in front of another wall hiding a door, the perfect optical illusion.

The succubus was unaware of what was happening on the other side. Her hands were numb. Not wanting to stop she moved back as she started kicking the wall. Right kick, followed by a left one, and rotating. The wall started to crack giving her a new wave of strength. Bo took a few steps back ready to charge the wall when something caught her peripheral vision. She stopped turning to her right, motionless as she saw the pothien. A background of warm glow engulfed the blonde. Bo almost forgot to breathe. The brunette closed the small distance between them. Her blooded hands on the sides of the blonde's face, her warm brown eyes locking onto the pothien's, "Is it really you?" Tears filled her eyes as she barely got the words out. To Bo it felt like she was in a dream, one that she didn't care to wake up from.

Lauren placed her hands over Bo's. Gently trailing them down the brunette's arms, reaching the back of Bo's neck, pulling the succubus to her as the pothien's lips captured hers. A rollercoaster of emotions poured into this kiss, love, fear, desire, longing and loss. Lauren didn't want to pull away, the need for air caused them to. Their foreheads meeting each other's for the first time in months. The pothien held Bo's hands examining her knuckles, frowning at their appearance. "These need to be cleaned out right away." The blonde's eyes met Bo's, seeing her watery eyes stopped the doctor short. "Bo, I am so unbelievable sorry. I never meant to cause you so much pain. I couldn't let you die, let your mother kill you. I waited many lifetimes for a fae like you, long enough that I gave up till I met you. I would sacrifice my love, or my life, if it meant you get to live."

"You think I could live without you?" Bo cut her off. "I went through my life thinking there was something wrong with me. That I was cursed to an eternity of loneliness. Only to find out that I am fae, I have a chance at normalcy," her thumb caressed Lauren's cheek, "but only with you. I only want that with you. I love you so much Lauren, you have become my other half. How can a person live when they are only half alive?"

She lightly brushed her lips against Bo's. "Yet here you are alive, standing in front of me, trying to rescue me, again. I only wanted to save your life. Do you understand Bo? I would gladly give mine for yours any day." Lauren didn't want to dismiss the pain she caused by compelling herself. She just wanted the brunette to understand why she did it. There was no limit she considered too far, or too much, for Bo. "A fae like me, that has the power I possess, would never use it on themselves. For you I didn't have to think twice. I'm forever sorry for the pain and hurt it caused; but if I had to rewind time and do it all over again, I would."

Bo hit her arm watching as Lauren rubbed it. "You jerk, really, you'd do it all over again?" The brunette was having a hard time grasping it. It almost broke her, destroyed her, yet the pothien still would do it again.

Lauren pulled Bo towards her, "My life for yours any day, anytime, will always be my decision." She wanted to kiss the succubus but waited a second longer. "Besides something like this and you managed to figure a way to bring my memories back. I never doubt the strong woman I fell in love with, or her human sidekick." The blonde squeezed the kiss in this time.

"Oh no, no, not your decision." The succubus backed away from her lover's embrace keeping close enough. "Next time, hoping there isn't a next time, you talk to me." The brunette stepped slightly closer, "Together we will figure a way to overcome any obstacle without hurting the other." Bo was all in with Lauren. She knew her lifestyle put her life in danger more times than she cared for it to be. She also planned on a future with Lauren Lewis always in it.

The blonde smiled a warm genuine smile. "Together it is. I will spend the rest of my life making this up to you Bo Dennis."

Bo grinned, "Yes you will." Before she got to move any closer to Lauren a pain shot from inside her abdomen, ripping across her stomach. She crouched over in pain, her arm instinctively going over her waist. Bo's free hand grabbing Lauren's jeans to keep her steady.

The pothien was squatting in front of her in the blink of an eye. "Bo, what is it, what's happening?" Her eyebrows knitted together as she was looking for signs of damage. All she could see was the dry blood on the brunette's hands. Bo didn't answer yelling out then falling onto her knees. Both of her arms around her stomach, she leaned forward, rocking back and forth. "Talk to me Bo." The doctor pleaded.

Bo breathed in deep, "Holy shit," she blurted out. "Aaahh…it feels like… an alien…is going to rip…out of me," she tried not to yell on the top of her lungs. "Kind of like the movie Aliens." Her words came out strained, through grinned teeth. Her rocking becoming a steady rhythm.

Lauren was trying to stay calm, she still had no clue where they were, no medical supplies in sight. She was going to have to wing this. "Bo, what happened, before you found me?" Bo didn't answer, instead she started groaning that turned into a low scream. Lauren pulled one of Bo's arms free placing it over her heart. "You feel that Bo? Feel the rhythm of my heart beat, look in to my eyes. Take small deep breaths in and let them out. I am right here." The succubus finally managed to lock eyes with the pothien. Her screams of pain, back to light groans, it wasn't great but it was progress. "How did you get me to break my compulsion?"

The succubus focused on her words, listening to the calm tone in her lover's voice. "I don't know." Another sharp inhale, "We were fighting the Garuda…" the painful memory, "he killed you…I brought you back…you were in a coma ever since, till I just saw you now." Bo's forehead wrinkled as she tried to recall the events from the past. They seemed like centuries ago. It was getting harder to remember details.

Lauren straightened up in shock remaining in the position in front of Bo. There were many questions she wanted to fire off, only one was pressing to help the brunette. "Did you try something to wake me from my coma?" The pothien knew she had been in this room for quite some time. Now that Bo mentioned it, the last thing she did remember was fighting the Garuda. Kimber's dead body, getting tossed like a ragdoll then briefly, just for a flash, seeing Bo.

"No, I stayed by your side for a month, you still never woke up." She wanted to keel over in pain. The succubus focused on Lauren's heartbeat, the slow steady beat. Pushing through the feeling that her ribs were cracking, trying to stay conscious.

The pothien was trying to think, something she was missing. If she was still in a coma how was Bo with her. First she thought maybe Bo was in a coma too. It didn't make sense by the amount of pain the brunette was in. "What was the last thing you remember before seeing me?"

Bo tried to think. Her brain felt like it was ripping to shreds. She lifted her hand from Lauren's chest as she grabbed onto her own hair, wanting to scream till she felt Lauren's fingers wrap around her wrist. She knew the blonde was speaking to her but the pain was making it hard to focus on the words. Lauren's last question replayed in her mind. "I don't know, some kind of Indiana Jones Temple of Doom, Trick was worried, got some teacher fae, Sarah, no, Sandy, no, Stella, yes Stella."

The blonde stayed planted to where she was, frozen. Temple, Stella, Trick, she had the answer. "Bo, listen to me this is very important." She leaned forward pulling Bo towards her as things started to click in her mind, like a puzzle piecing itself together. "Did you start your Dawning?" Bo simply nodded. The pothien was fighting back tears. Panic was rattling throughout the pothien she just wouldn't show it. "Did you finish your Dawning?"

"I don't know. I remember being asked to pick a side for a weapon. I refused, Dyson offered to be my hand. We entered and…" She started to think of what has happened since she was last in the hospital room. Like a fog faintly lifting she was beginning to recollect the things that brought her to the present. "We were in the Dal, then the gym, I got the key to get me back home but was brought to you." Bo started to smile, "I'm home."

Lauren's emotions were the complete and utter opposites of Bo's. "No, Bo you're not." She fought hard against the bile threatening to rise up from deep within. It was hard to keep composed, somehow she managed. The blonde knew what Dyson did, what it meant. "We have to find Dyson." She stepped up as she tried pulling Bo to her feet. "You are still in your Dawning, it tricked us both, it connected you to my subconscious state to keep you here, so you'd become UnderFae. That's the pain you are feeling, you're changing."

The confusion was written all over the brunette's face. "None of this was real?" It was destroying her more than the fact that she could become UnderFae in a moment's notice.

"It was real Bo, you're talking to me, my subconscious is here with you. You have to leave and get back to my hospital bed, I need you to wake me up Bo." She was reaching at anything she could to get the succubus moving again. Besides it wasn't a lie, if she woke up in her hospital bed right now, she'd remember everything they talked about. Time for the hard part, a tear slid down her cheek, "Bo, about Dyson." There was no easy way to put this, no gentle way. She was so angry with the shifter she wished he was there so she could whip his ass. "Dyson is your key."

The agony that Bo was in started to slowly vanish. "Say what now?"

She wiped away the few tears that were steadily streaming down her cheek. "His life essence is the key." Lauren was no longer looking at the brunette, instead her eyes were fixated on the floor.

Bo was shaking her head, "No, no that can't be." Reality was sinking in as she was feeling like herself again. The walls of the warmly lit room started to fade away. Bo could almost see the gym that she was in before seeing the pothien. The thought of Lauren made Bo whip her head back to where the blonde was standing. Lauren was fading away. Bo jumped to her feet, she felt lightheaded with everything that was flooding her brain. "Lauren!" She didn't want to lose her.

Dyson couldn't believe what he was seeing. He finally found Bo, which he wasn't entirely sure how, and he saw his longtime friend. He was by Bo's side as fast as his legs would allow. She stood rooted to the spot she was in. "Bo," he gently said as he approached from behind.

"You ass," the brunette blurted out as her fist contacted his tricep. Soon as her skin touched his, a blue glowing light lit up for a micro second. If the succubus blinked she would have missed it.

Dyson rubbed his upper arm, "Nice to see you too."

"Did you know?" This time it was Bo that had the steady stream of tears.

The shifter sighed. "There was no other way, I couldn't let Kenzi lose you." He flashed his notorious grin, "After all you are Best Fae's Forever."

"Now you start with the quips," The succubus partially wanted to smile at his joke, her sadness overcame it in a flash.

He stepped closer to Bo. "You do know I have been living with Kenzi this past month that you've been living by Lauren's bed. I was bound to learn a quip or two."

She went to hit him again but this time he caught it. "You ass," Bo repeated her words from before. She needed to get home, get back to Lauren, to wake her. There was no way she was going to take Dyson's life to do it.

"Kenzi needs you and the fae need you." He waited, letting her absorb what he was saying, "Lauren needs you."

"And Kenzi needs you."

"She will have you, the way you had her." He was okay with the decision he made. After all he was fae he would live a very long life, Kenzi would only be in it briefly. The way he saw it, he would be seeing her in another life.

Bo was deep in thought trying to come with a solution that didn't involve killing her best friend's beau. She didn't get a chance, the temple walls started to shake and crumple. Dyson grabbed her shoulders, turning her towards him, "Bo, you have to do it, you have to get home."

"I can't, I won't." She couldn't raise her voice; the words hardly came out.

"You have too, Bo we both die in here together or you go home and do what you were supposed to." Dyson wanted her to realize there was no double victory. The Dawning, the temple, it always finds a way to win, it would never let them both out alive. He grabbed her hand bringing it over his heart. The light from before emanated from her finger tips. He held her hand tight to his chest. A blast of light shot out. They both screamed together. Bo tried to pull her hand away, it just seemed to tug harder at the life he was giving up. Her heart was breaking all over again, for Dyson, for Kenzi. She pushed her hand forward, light burst like a bomb that went off.

They were back in Lauren's hospital room. Bo was leaning over Dyson, who was flat on his back, she grabbed his shirt pulling at him, "NOOOO, DYSON, NOO!" The brunette was vaguely aware of Trick, Stella, Hale and Kenzi in the room till the petite goth was crouched down across from her. The succubus felt it again. The calmness take over her body letting her know, it knew what to do. She closed her eyes and trusted her inner fae. Bo's eyes turned deep blue.

2 HOURS LATER

The brunette woke up in a hospital bed alone in a room. There was a cuff link wrapped around her upper arm and an IV in the other. She sat straight up as she glanced around. There was no time to waste. Bo yanked the needle out, slid off the bed, marched to the door ripping it open almost slamming into a nurse. "Where. Is. Lauren?" The succubus snarled out through grinded teeth her eyes shining that dark ocean blue.

The nurse stumbled backwards just pointing down the hallway. The brunette turned on her heels automatically like a robot as the path started to become all too familiar. Pausing outside the door that she's been to every single day for a month, blue eyes turning back to brown. Bo, let it creak open stopping when she saw not only her lover in the same bed Lauren has been in, but Kenzi in a bed next to hers. The shifter was right against the human's bed, the back of the chair towards the door, he was hunched over holding Kenzi's small hand in both of his. Dyson smelled the succubus outside the door before it even opened. He remained still.

Bo went in between both beds gazing from one important person to the other. She remembered the temple, the conversation with Lauren, and Dyson, Dyson was the key. She had to kill him, it was all she could recall. Yet here he sat perfectly fine yet Kenzi seemed to be the one suffering. "What happened," shock and sadness filling her words once again.

The shifter sneered at her. He tried to remain calm but his inner wolf started to take over. "What happened? What happened?" His golden eyes glimmered with fury. "You happened! You always happen. You couldn't let it just be. Just let me save you for Kenzi. You had to do whatever it is that you do and now Kenzi is unconscious." He got in her face. Fighting the temptation to grab the brunette and shake her around the room. What stopped him was Kenzi. What would she think or feel if she woke up and saw the two of them ripping each other apart? With his last thought, he took a step back, the back of his legs against Kenzi's bed, he ran his hand through his hair. "We didn't have to worry about the Garuda killing us, we have you for that." With his free hand, he gestured to Bo.

"I'm not exactly sure what I did here but it seems your life was sparred, you're welcome." Bo felt an anger rise within her. She got angry here and there, who in life hasn't, lately it has been different. Ever since the Garuda it was easier to give into anger. To let it wrap itself around her like an invisible cloak. She embraced it as such instead of trying to keep it at bay. "I'm not sure what I did to Kenzi, one thing I can tell you is she's the strongest person I ever met." Her eyes flashed blue as she got close to him. "Something fae can't seem to understand, human strength."

Dyson growled, "Why couldn't you let it be? I did that for her." He was counting in his head so he wouldn't tear Bo's throat out. He felt his claws extend, moving them behind his back and out of Bo's view.

"Ohhhh my God, what is it with you elder fae? Making the decisions for the people you love? Is this like from the time you were born kind of thing?" Her anger dissolving. "Hi welcome to the new age, women can vote and wear pants, also they make decisions together with the person they love. You do know what together means?"

The brunette's sarcasm reminded him so much of the human he loved that he retracted back to his full human form. "Have you ever heard of noble gestures?"

"It's not noble if it's a dumb ass idea. You don't decide what's best for the person you love. This isn't some fairy tale. There's no evil queen enchanting a curse that can be broken with true love's kiss. Reality is you do something, you die, you kill the person you love in a slow horrifying way. Welcome to the real world." Despite her talk with Lauren there was still hurt that would take time to go away. Dyson doing what he did only brought those emotions to the surface.

"I made a choice to save you for Kenzi. It was a selfless act not a selfish one." He tilted his head, eyes narrowing the slightest bit, "Although I'm not sure if you know the difference of the two. What you did could kill Kenzi. What I did, it would hurt but she would live. Can you say the same now?"

Bo was about to reply when she felt a hand grab her wrist. Glancing down, letting her eyes follow the arm knowing full well who it belonged to. Finally meeting those soft brown eyes. Glistening as if woken from a long peaceful sleep. All the irritation rapidly dissolving at the look of the pothien. Even Dyson was completely silent. Chills went up her spine, the air escaped her lungs making her feel light headed and dizzy. Just one look, one touch from the pothien was all it took to make Bo complete. In a flash, Bo was at her side, tears filling her eyes, "Lauren? Is this real? Are you really here?" The succubus was petrified she was still in the Dawning and this was all some mind trick, all over again. Her heart pounded with hope but her mind tried to prepare for more pain.

The blonde went to speak but her mouth was so dry. She put her hand to her throat rubbing it. Dyson didn't need to be told or asked, he poured water into a small plastic cup handing it to Bo. Afraid the blonde wouldn't be able to hold it herself. He knew her fae type was unusually strong; it didn't change the fact that she was comatose for a month.

Lauren smiled wearily, "I'm here Bo." Bo gently pulled Lauren's hand to her lips, pressing a kiss to the warm flesh that helped solidify the truth. "You two are getting along well in my absence I see," Lauren's voice was hoarse, the small sips of water helped her get the sentence out. "Fighting loud enough to wake the dead, literally." She tried her best to grin even if it was a feeble attempt.

Dyson let his eyes drift over to Kenzi, checking her unchanged condition. "Lauren, what do you last remember?" There was so much the pothien missed he didn't even know where to start. This was bittersweet for him. His longtime friend finally woke while his mate didn't.

Lauren almost closed her eyes to think, deciding against it knowing it would make the duo think she was fading out. Her arm felt like lead as she gradually lifted it to rub her forehead. "I remember going to fight the Garuda, the attacks and deaths." The horrifying images replaying as she spoke made her swallow hard before continuing. "Kimber," another pause, sadness replaced by confusion, "Your Dawning?" She questioned Bo before shifting to Dyson, "You're alive?"

"I did see you in the Dawning. It used you to trap Bo, you figured it out and helped free her." He wasn't asking just speaking out loud as he put it together.

The pothien ignored all that, "You're still alive, how?"

"Same as how you are alive." He glanced over at Kenzi.

This time Lauren followed his gaze. If she could jump out of the bed she would have. "What happened to Kenzi?" Her heart almost broke seeing the tiny human laying there immediately bringing back memories of Nadia.

"Apparently, I did," Bo meekly answered. She kept her eyes down not wanting to meet either of the two's gaze. The brunette's emotions were all over the place. Unbelievable happiness that Lauren was awake and remembered the Dawning, and a sadness that Kenzi wasn't there for it. There was also the right amount of guilt thrown in.

Dyson put his hand on Bo's shoulder. "I played a part in it too. After all it was my 'dumb ass' idea." He didn't want Bo to take all the blame. After their tiff, he realized he was partially to blame as well. "Forgive me Lauren, I am very happy you're awake…"

"Give me her chart." The pothien put as much authority into it that her crackling voice allowed. Both stared at her neither moving. Her pupils dilated and they both practically tripped over the other to get the record. Lauren smirked, even in her current state she had other fae scrambling. Dyson's longer arm gave him the advantage as he handed it over to the doctor. She went to sit up, Bo put her hand on the blonde's back helping her, it gave the blonde chills. The touch gave her a flashback of when she first met the succubus many months ago. Bo sitting naked on her exam table. Her cheeks flushed, she glanced down while Dyson placed extra pillows behind her back. Both were silent as she read over Kenzi's chart. "She will be fine. It's as if she suffered from severe exhaustion. Her vitals are low but slowly rising. Now, what the hell happened?"

Bo went to answer but Dyson silenced her. "When we fought the Garuda, you attempted to compel him while he possessed Trick, he knew what you were about to do and separated from Trick. You didn't back down. He killed you. It did something to Bo." Dyson let his gaze shift over to Bo. She seemed as intrigued as Lauren. "She became stronger, able to defeat the Garuda, and she sucked the chi out of everyone to save you." His eyes went from Bo to Lauren. "She did the same to save me."

The pothien was fascinated. "Impossible, no succubus has ever been able to suck multiple chi at once." The doctor inside her took over once again, "Which is why Kenzi was knocked out, it happened to her twice in a short amount of time. She's human not fae."

"She doesn't need to be reminded." The tiny goth croaked out.

Dyson was instantly by her side. Sitting on the edge of her bed as he took her hand in his. He laughed as tears filled his eyes threatening to spill over. "Kenz," he managed to get out as he bent over kissing her hand.

"That was almost a perfect recap. I would have told the doc that Bo went all Carrie at the Prom." She went to laugh at her own joke but her whole body ached.

"No one does metaphors quite like you Kenzi. Welcome back." Lauren called over.

Bo was too afraid to leave her lover's side. "Kenzi, I am so sorry." She felt responsible for everything. It was hard to keep it together. The only reason she did was Lauren. Afraid the pothien was too weak for her to fall apart.

"For what? Saving my suicide squad boyfriend." She gave Dyson the best evil look she could muster. "We soooo need to talk about how relationships work. I mean did anyone learn anything from the Notebook?" She tilted her head to look at the pothien. "Do I say welcome back HotPants or are you still a page out of The Vow? You are also on the we need to have a talk list. Since you've got your Slayer healing powers we will have that discussion sooner rather than later."

While Bo and Lauren filled Kenzi in on what happened in the Dawning, Dyson called Trick and Hale to let them know both ladies were awake. They passed the short amount of time catching everyone up to speed. Trick walked into the room with Hale right at his heels. He stopped for a minute just taking in both ladies, up, awake and alert. It was a sight he wasn't sure he would see again with the pothien. He made his way over to Lauren. "Dr. Lewis you have been missed."

Lauren's eyes glimmered from the water filling them. "I am so sorry Trick, for everything. I am responsible for so much. I will talk to the fae elders when I am healed."

The Blood King gave a soft smile. "You do not need to talk to the fae elders. As the acting Ash I have resolved you from all crimes committed against the light. You have more than redeemed yourself Lauren. Without you we would never have been able to defeat the Garuda."

The pothien arched an eyebrow, "Acting Ash?"

"Yes, for now, it is a responsibility that I don't care to make permanent. I like staying neutral at the Dal. I had my share of politics long ago, you were there, I don't care to repeat them." He glanced at Bo who was sitting on Lauren's bed. He felt relief that his granddaughter finally was whole again. He saw it from the second he walked into the room. It was a light that shun in her eyes that he hasn't seen since Lauren compelled herself. He put his attention on the bed next to Lauren's, "Welcome back to you to Kenzi. When your better I have a bottle of Grey Goose waiting for you at the Dal."

"My fae fairy godfather," she beamed.

Hale was standing by Dyson. "It's good to see you're still you little mama." He nodded at the blonde, "Finally happy to see you back to yoursself as well Lauren. Fun as this little adventure has been maybe we should figure things out as a group first before doing crazy things like compelling ourselves or giving up our lives. Might be a great new start."

1 WEEK LATER

Lauren pulled out of Bo's embrace glancing at the clock on the nightstand. "We really have to start getting ready or we are going to be very very late."

Bo sat up, her lips finding the pothien's, "Is it for a very important date?" Her lips curled back into a smile.

"Ha ha, funny," Lauren dragged herself from the bed, "You and Kenzi planned this whole thing about being able to celebrate defeating the Garuda."

"And your love returning." Bo chimed in. Kenzi did dedicate months on end to finding a way to break the compulsion.

The blonde leaned back over the succubus kissing her again. "Yes, that too." She turned around and started walking towards her closet, her neck arched as she continued to talk to Bo, "Trick also said he had something important to discuss with me." With that she tripped over a box, stumbled into her closet and popped back out. "Also, when we get back home you really need to start putting yourself away."

Bo saluted her, "Eyi Eyi Captain." Dropping the blankets exposing her bare breasts. "You sure we are running late," she smirked at the pothien.

DAL

Two hours later Lauren's Aston Martin zoomed into the Dal parking lot. The two ladies walked arm and arm into the bar. The blonde kissed her lover's neck, "You're so taking the blame for us arriving late. It was you who teased a pothien, which is scientifically proven to be unwise. I am a scientist after all." She winked as she opened the door for Bo.

"Oh, look who it is, you're the kind of late the Jedis were at figuring out Chancellor Palpatine was the Sith Lord." Kenzi had her arms folded and was tapping her right foot.

Both faes pointed at the other simultaneously replying, "Her fault."

Vex popped up next to Kenzi, "I'd like to point out that I thought Lauren was fine all compelled but you lot insisted on having this back. It's their party they can whine if they want to." He took a sip of his whiskey on the rocks and twirled away.

Lauren and Bo went over to Dyson and Kenzi. The pothien looked around, "Where's Hale?"

"Unlike you he sent a text saying he'd be late. Since D-Man decided to join team badass fae bounty hunters, Hale is getting a new partner, dark fae." Kenzi smiled at her boyfriend.

He grinned looking down at her, "Someone has to keep you both safe. You make my long fae life seem very human." He put his hand over his heart, giggling slightly at the agita the two can cause.

Bo raised an eyebrow, "Dark fae partner?"

Trick was heading towards them catching the end of the conversation, "New thing we are trying with keeping the peace between the light and dark, her name is Tamsin." He hugged his granddaughter before turning his attention to the pothien. "Lauren, I have spoken with the fae elders, and they are pleased to offer you the position of the new Ash. Hopefully you accept, I think there is no fae better suited for the job."

The pothien's eyes practically popped out of their socket. "Me? Me? Really, why?" She was flabbergasted. All this time she thought how the fae elders would have her eliminated for her betrayal. She knew the Blood King never told them. This was something she never contemplated. Never even considered a remote possibility.

"Lauren without you the fae could have ceased to exist. You have saved our lives many times, even as the head of the light fae medical facility. You saved us all from the virus that was taken us all out. How many attacks on the fae have you personal helped save? You may not see how vital you are but we do." Trick was proud of the pothien he has long been friends with. Since Lauren has been with Bo she wasn't as elusive as she once was. Which made her the perfect fit.

Bo kissed her lover on the cheek, "You deserve it babe."

When Lauren nodded in agreement, Trick made the announcement to the patrons of the Dal. Everyone cheered at their new Ash. Bo couldn't help the playful grin, "Now the Ash and the Morgan owe me favors, guess someone gets to stay unaligned."

"You know what would be fae-mazing, making it so humans don't need to be claimed." Kenzi put her hand on Lauren's shoulder, "Wow Lauren that was super kind, especially to those humans who helped put you back with your one true pairing."

The blonde hung her head down shaking it slightly. The chuckle escaped before the tiny goth finished her sentence. "When you finish your pity party I have a better idea." Kenzi signaled the pothien to continue. "Get me a drink babe," she called over to Bo as she pulled the human to the side. "After we talked many months ago and you wanted me to continue researching how I can undo my compulsion. I gave up on it thinking it was pointless. What I did figure out, if you're interested, is a way to turn you fae."

Bo glanced at Lauren talking to Kenzi. It warmed her heart to have the two most important women in her life. She never lost the goth but in a way, she did. The brunette was no longer herself without Lauren. She couldn't have fun the way she used to with Kenzi. Her life was utterly complete. The succubus glanced at the shifter, seeing the glimmer in his eyes as he watched Kenzi. Bo knew he felt the same way. The tap on her arm shook her from her thoughts. "What's up gramps?"

"We have to talk about how you brought back Lauren and Dyson." Trick had that all to serious look etched onto his face.

"Trick, I don't know how I did it, I really don't."

He waved his hand up. "I know, I wasn't going to ask you that. I was going to tell you that it's time I tell you about your father."
