Nitori shivers as a gust of wind blows, burying his gloved hands deeper into his coats pockets.

The walk from the Iwatobi movie theatre to Samezuka was not that long, but it had seemed much shorter earlier in the day on the way there, when the sun was still up and the strong winds had not yet set in.

Rin, walking beside him, didn't seem that affected by the cold air, but then again he had a hat and a scarf on, something the younger boy had forgotten to grab in his hurry earlier in the day.

The warmth of their dorm and his covers was seeming more and more exciting with each step.

The wind blows again, this time sending a long shiver down Nitori's back as he huddles into himself in an attempt for warmth.

He nearly jumps when something is wound around his neck, and when he see that it is Rin's scarf, he looks to the older boy in surprise.

A quick, "Thank you, senpai!" elicits no more than a quiet tch from the older boy, but it is filled with the warmth that always seems to follows Rin's annoyance with him.

The scarf does not provide much relief, but it is still warm from where it was draped around Rin, and the blush tingeing his cheeks supplies some more heat.

Besides, the scarf smells like Rin, and covering his face with it gives a good excuse to breathe in the smell.

Rin scoffs as Nitori shivers again, and says, "You're still cold?"

The younger boy just shrugs, and Rin heaves a sigh, before grabbing Nitori's hand out of his pocket and dragging him towards the school that has come into view.

As the exposed bit of skin around his wrist comes in contact with the cold air he lets out a little "oh".

Rin scoffs again, pulling Nitori along a little faster. "Come on, Ai." He says, leaning down so that his lips are at the younger boy's ears, "The sooner we get back to our room, the sooner I can warm you up."

It was as he buried his bright red face into it that Nitori was exceptionally glad for Rin's scarf.
