this is way to much like my other rintori fic but whatever

He was in a sweatshirt and buried underneath two blankets and he was still cold.

This was, of course, because of the fact that Samezuka's heater had unexpectedly died the day before – a one year old heater, that, due to the newness of it, the school did not think would need a backup.

So now the entire school was freezing, and kids were showing up to class in full snowsuits.

Well, not the entire school. The gym and all the facilities connected to it were still heated, due to the fact that the place had a different heater, so at any given time the place was packed with kids looking for relief from the cold.

Unfortunately you couldn't sleep in the gym, though, so here he was, freezing and trying to work up his courage.

Finally, after several more minutes of silently battling himself, he called out a tentative, "S-senpai?"

"Nn?" came from below, and then a few seconds layer it was followed by a "What?"

"Can I come down?"

A few more seconds passed, and he figured that Rin must have fallen back asleep.

"Bring your blankets."

Nitori lets out a quick "Ok" before grabbing the two blankets and hurrying down to the bunk below.

He flops down on the bed, not even trying to get under the Rin's covers in his hurry to get out of the cold.

He lies like that for a few minutes before Rin says, "Get under the damn covers" and he complies.

His back is to Rin's and after a second Rin wraps his arm around the younger boy, and Nitori smiles because Rin and the warmth coming off of him.

At Nitori's content sigh, Rin tightens his arms around Nitori before tracing lazy circles on the younger boy's stomach.

Several minutes later, when Rin has asleep – judging by the fact that his hands had stopped moving and the steady breathing he could feel on the back of his head – Nitori realized that he was warm from his toes up, and snuggled closer to Rin, a content smile on his lips.
