HIYA, Everyone! I'm back and just in time for the Holidays!

Ruby and Italy:(hugs me) WE MISSED YOU!

ME: I MISSED YOU GUYS TOO! And in this chapter, we're in Remnant and making their debut appearances are Ironwood, Ozpin, Glynda, and QROW!

Qrow:(slurps down some alcohol)Oh, hey.

Ozpin:(smiles gently) Happy Holidays.

Glynda:(sighs and nods)

Ironwood: Happy Holidays.

Ruby:(runs over to Qrow and latches on to him) UNCLE QROW! I MISSED YOU! DID YOU MISS ME? DIDJA?

Qrow:(bemused) Nope. Anyways... EmoH123 does not own anything...

Team RWBY was missing. That news caused a stir in Beacon, if not the entire kingdom of Vale.

During their mission, and according to Oobleck, they had come across a White Fang base and fought them on a running train, with a herd of Grimm trailing behind it.

But suddenly, there was a flash of light and just like that, the White Fang, Team RWBY, and the horde of Grimm were gone. The train crashed in the middle of the city. While there was some property damage, nobody was harmed.

Team RWBY's disappearance however did not go unnoticed.

The media was all over it. "MISSING HUNTRESS! Cover up by Beacon?" "What is Headmaster Ozpin hiding?" Conspiracies and gossip ran rampant. The fact that Weiss was heiress to the Schnee Dust Company.

The friends and family of Team RWBY were concerned and prominently pressed on the matter. Ozpin could only assure them he and the authorities will do anything in their power to locate the girls.

That matter aside...The Headmaster of Beacon had something else to deal with..

"OZPIN, WE NEED TO DO SOMETHING!

"LIKE WHAT, JAMES? Have your men search every building in the city? Double the security and double the guards? Do any of that and people get scared!"

Ozpin watched as James Ironwood and Glynda Goodwytch argued in front of his desk over the matter at hand.

Ironwood calmed. "Look, face it. If it wasn't for that light or whatever, we would have more than destroyed property and an empty train to deal with! We got lucky."

"Lucky? Lucky?! Team RWBY is MIA. Our students!" Glynda hissed, her fingers clenched around her crop. "They could be dead, James."

"Loss is always a possibility on the battlefield, Glynda" The general responded, his voice neutral. An improvement over his tirade earlier.

"B-BATTLEFIELD! This is not a war. They are not soldiers!" Glynda argued, her expression darkened. " Though I see that you can't tell the difference, can you?"

Ironwood eyes narrowed in frustration at the accusation.

Before anything else could be said. The doors open up and everyone turned to see Qrow Branwen gurgling down some alcohol before putting it away and wiping his face.

"Qrow" Ironwood acknowledged the veteran huntsman. "What-"

"We can get to that later.." Qrow sluggishly interrupted the general, some ire in his voice. He turned to Ozpin, "So I hear my nieces have gone missing..."

"Yes, Qrow. I have already discussed the situation with Taiyang" Ozpin explained.

"Well, that discussion must have been terrible because it didn't stop Tai from wanting to come on over here and make more of a ruckus. I had to calm him down" Qrow huffed.

"Well that's long and hard" Ozpin comment, understand the hot-headedness of Tai in such a situation.

"That's what she said" Qrow smirked as he replied. The others either cringed or narrowed their eyes in disapproval at such a scandalous comment.

"Speaking of families" Ironwood started to speak up. "Winter has requested to come here to investigate her sister's disappearance. I have decided to accept her request."

Qrow sighed,"Great...Winter is coming." He opened up his canister to take another sip.

"Try to get along, Qrow" Ozpin insisted, and he then stood up to address everyone. "James, I'll allow you to investigate the scene and to improve security. But try not to alarm anyone. Also, Glynda, go help him."

Glynda only raised an eyebrow before nodding and leaving the room along with Ironwood. With that, only Qrow and the room's patent were there.

Qrow sighed tiredly as he took another sip. "So I heard there was a white light when they disappeared.."

"Yes."

"You know what that means, right?"

"Yes...the Silver-Eyed Warriors..." Ozpin sat back down as he mused in thought. "Legend says that their eyes could freeze Grimm with only a look. But that's not all. Some of them could cut through other worlds..."

"I guess Ruby...is those some now" Qrow took a another shot, a long one.
