RWBY Volume 3 epilogue

Melanie and Miltia stood outside the trashed club. Melanie sighed. "Well, there goes our employment."

Miltia shook her head. "Man, the Grimm really made a mess of everything, didn't they."

Suddenly, standing in between them, placing an arm around both of them, was a strange man. "Fret not, young ladies. I will care for you in this time of strife."

The twins looked up at the man, speaking together. "Who are you?"

"The name is Port. Professor Peter Port, at your service, my ladies."

They stared blankly for a moment, neither sure how to react. Eventually, Melanie just shrugged. "Okay, I'm game."

Cinder stood on top of the tower, frozen in place. She was fully aware, but she couldn't move her body. It was the most aggravating thing ever. The giant Grimm dragon was next to her, equally frozen and immobile. This was not according to plan, not in the slightest. She quietly grumbled to herself, though it would have had volume if she was capable of making a sound. A light breeze blew past, causing a small cloud of tiny flecks of ash to float past right in front of her face. That was the last straw.

"You're mocking me, aren't you?"

Pyrrha's voice drifted on the wind. "At least I can move..."

Blake had done an excellent job of dodging the Grimm, infiltrating her way into the school. Scaling the wall of the dormitory, she slid in through the window. Team RWBY's room looked just the way it always had. Nothing was out of place. Perfect. She knelt down and started sorting through the books. Ninjas of Love was in there somewhere.

There, between one of Weiss' instruction manuals and one of Ruby's fairy tale books, was where her precious book should have waited. Instead, there was just a tiny note.

"If you want it back, you'll have to come and get it. -Adam"

Rage boiled over. Blake crumpled the note in her fist and threw it out the window. She faced the night sky, looking out over the view of Vale. "Adam... you fiend. You'll pay for this."

"Miss Schnee, your father has returned."

Winter jumped up and dashed into the closet, quickly changing out of her casual clothing and into her uniform before pushing her way back out. She shut the doors, powered down the Wii, and turned off the television, then rushed out to meet her father. He walked into the house, Weiss on his heels, and sauntered right past his saluting daughter.

Weiss stopped and stood beside Winter, staring at the ground. When she finally looked up, Winter stuck out her tongue. "I beat Galaxy 2."

"Two of my friends are dead."

"Edgy, much?"

Weiss shook her head and walked away.

Winter called after her. "You're just mad I beat it first!" There was no response. "Okay, but really, what happened at Beacon?" She was beginning to feel incredibly out of the loop.

Ozpin dropped the mic, letting it bounce along the ground and roll to a stop in front of Salem.

Panting and gasping from the thrashing she'd received, Salem glared up at her foe. "How? How can you be so powerful?"

Ozpin shrugged. "I've had a long time to practice." He knelt down to face her eye to eye. "You still have so much to learn. Now go wipe that ridiculous makeup off your face."

As Ozpin stood and walked away, Salem reached out to him in vain. Accepting her defeat, she faceplanted into the ground. "Yes, Dad..."

Dun dun DUN! Ozpin is Salem's dad. Bet you didn't see that one coming.

For further clarification, Winter has no idea what happened, Adam stole Ninjas of Love, Pyrrha's ghost is mocking Cinder, and Port is flirting with the twins.
