AN: SPOILER ALERT! if you haven't read Mark of Athena do not continue reading! (Although, if you haven't read Mark of Athena, you probably shouldn't even be on this part of fanfiction. Too many spoilers.)

Hey guys, it's Anna, here is a short story about what happens to Percabeth after they fell into Tartarus. Hope you enjoy tell me if you like it in the reviews!

P.S. this isn't actually from House of Hades. I made it before the book came out.

PoV Annabeth

She woke to Percy's arms around her and the sound of him whispering her name through his tears. When he saw her eyes open she could see the relief spread across his face.

"Annabeth?" he asked

"Yea?" she replied.

"Oh thank the gods your alright," he said

She tried to sit up but as soon as she moved there was a splitting pain in her head.

"DON'T Move!" he said, "I'm pretty sure u cracked you head open"

"Great, I hate feeling crippled" why did I have to break my ankle? she thought to herself.

"Annabeth, there is no way anyone could ever cripple you. I am so proud of you, what you did back there, that was amazing. I never could have done that." She looked into his beautiful green eyes, she was always jealous of his bright green ones compared to her dull grey ones.

"You know the only thing that kept me going was the thought of coming back to you." He kissed her. It was a soft, short kiss that made her body ache for more. She could tell she was losing conciseness, she caught one last thing before she slipped away.

"I love you Annabeth," he whispered. The world slowly faded around her.

PoV Percy

When Annabeth fell silent he quickly checked her pulse just to be safe. When it beat against his fingers, a wave of relief washed over him. Great. he thought to himself, The first time I get to spend time alone with Annabeth again and she's unconscious, not to mention that WE'RE IN TARTARUS! Wow fate must really hate me. he let his mind wander and found him self thinking about the night he and Annabeth spent together in the stables of the Argo II. He longed to be there again. Annabeth stirred and woke him from his daze. She opened her eyes and looked up at him

"Good morning... or night. the gods know what time it is," he said. She smiled and looked around and winced, her head still looked pretty bad. He reached out and gently touched the side of her head.

"Does it still hurt?" he asked.

"Only when I move it," she replied.

"So you can't move your head?" he asked with a smirk.

"No..." she said cautiously.

He smiled and said, "Then I hope you don't mind when I do this." He leaned into her and kissed her, he felt her smile and laugh beneath his lips. He loved the way they fit perfectly together.

When he pulled away she asked, "What do we do know seaweed brain?"

"I don't know, you're the smart one, wise girl," he said.

"Yeah? Well I cracked my head open!" she exclaimed

"Oh...right... Well, um, we need to find the doors to get back and um...not get killed while doing it!" Was his attempt at a plan. She playfully rolled her eyes, and he smiled.

"Can you walk?" he asked. He watched her struggle to stand and caught her before she could fall. Oh, right, her ankle is still broken. He felt stupid for not remembering that. He saw the pain in her face and quickly made a decision. He carried her wedding style (bride style ABBY) through the depths of Tartarus.
