Since you all had to wait 33 chapters for the smut, you get a little extra helping this chapter. Also Law insisted.

Chapter 34

An Ending and a New Beginning

Nami was roused by a hand gliding over her back and lips fluttering over her shoulder. It was gentle, she could tell he didn't entirely want to wake her, but still couldn't help but touch. She would have let it lull her back to sleep if it didn't create a pool of warmth in her stomach and a desire for more.

With a soft moan, she buried her face in her pillow then rolled over until her back pressed to his chest. His hand trailed over her side and stomach before wrapping firmly around her waist to hug her tight against him.

"'Morning," she whispered sleepily, her eyes still refusing to open, even when she felt him lean up to press another kiss to her cheek.

"Good morning," Law answered back. His voice was a little rough, he must have awoken only a bit before her.

"Mmm, this is much better than the staring," she teased.

He chuckled, kissed the edge of her smile, and then settled into the bed behind her, burying his face against her back. "I'll keep that in mind."

"How did you sleep?" Her smile grew when she felt another kiss to her back, stifling her giggle lest it make him stop.

He hummed in answer, too busy tasting her skin to really say, but she imagined it meant he slept well. He seemed to be in a good mood, so it was likely he hadn't had any nightmares.

"We should probably get up soon," she suggested, only to have his hold tighten.

"Don't want to," he said petulantly, and she finally let out the laugh she had been holding in.

"Tora-o," she cooed while rolling to face him. She heard him growl at her movement and opened her eyes once she was settled to see him frowning as he pulled her back against him, trying to get comfortable again. "Hung-over?"

"Hn," he grunted, leaning in to steal a short peck. He pulled away to lean his forehead against hers, finally smirking again. "I've had worse." She laughed softly as her leg wrapped over his hip within the sheets and his hand pressed to her lower back, drawing her even closer. "I'm beginning to think that you and Zoro-ya have inhuman livers to be able to drink that much, though."

"I hope you're not planning to dissect us to find out," she teased.

"Hmm, well, not you…" he grinned. "But Zoro-ya's quite tempting."

She laughed and smacked his shoulder. "As long as you put him back together after, I guess I can't complain."

His answering chuckle ended when he leaned in for another kiss. The arm he had pushed under the pillows moved to wind around her head, his fingers digging into her hair as he pulled away, just enough for a breath as he searched her eyes, and then he was kissing her again. It was lazier than the night before, but there was no less emotion to it. If anything it felt even more passionate, as if he were savoring every second their lips were connected. She imagined he was, especially if they would have to part again soon.

Sadness crept into her mind as she wondered if this would be the last morning she would awake like this. She knew that he would do whatever he could to see her again, but the New World was a dangerous place, there was no telling what might happen after they separate.

"I'm not leaving yet," he whispered against her lips, as if reading her thoughts. Her expression must have given her away; her eyes blinked rapidly, feeling the early hint of unshed tears welling. He drew her in tighter, his arm at her lower back moving up to crush her chest to his. She felt warmer, a comfortable heat enveloping her as he released a heavy breath and kissed her again.

Her arm wound around his neck, the warmth intensified as she suddenly felt like the rest of the world didn't exist, her whole attention so singularly focused on the man slipping inside of her.

They were quiet, sharing panted moans between breathless kisses as he rocked his hips into her- slow, but deep. As their bodies glided together, the warmth only continued to spread, building slow with the languid friction between them. It was an addictive pleasure, one she didn't want to end, and as Law maintained the steady pace, she knew he didn't want to rush to any finish, more than content just enjoying the gentle sensations coursing through them.

Eventually it became too much, though, and her hips rocked into his, meeting his thrusts as they became harder the closer they got to completion. They clung to each other, their lips barely brushing as they gasped for air, Nami's cries getting higher and higher with every slap of skin against skin.

They were close. So close.

"Nami!" The door burst open unexpectedly with Luffy hollering her name.

"Fuc-!" Law yelled as he and Nami pulled apart on instinct, his voice becoming strangled as he rolled to his back and clutched the sheets to groin.

Nami was at a loss for words, trying to restrain her pained whimpers as she grabbed for the sheet to cover herself, as well. A quick glance at the man beside her showed him gritting his teeth, his eyes screwed shut tight, and she could tell he had been just as painfully close to orgasm as she was when they were interrupted.

"Nami! Sanji won't let anyone eat breakfast without you there! Come on! I'm hungry!"

The red-head sent a glare at her captain filled with more anger and fire than she's ever directed his way. She would kill him for this if she weren't naked.

"Luffy," she growled low in warning. It was then Luffy seemed to become aware of what he had just barged in on, and his eyes went wide, practically bugging out from his skull. He took a tentative step back, his hands raised as he glanced between the couple. Nami knew Law was glaring, too, seething with anger just as she was. "If you don't get out of my room," she threatened with calm so deadly, Luffy's face went ashen white, "I will let Law perform his most twisted, sadistic, grossly negligent surgical fantasies on you."

She spared the man a glance to see a wide grin spread over his face. She was certain she had never seen him look so excited at the prospect of torturing anyone as he did right then. If she wasn't so pissed off at Luffy for barging into her room at the worst possible time, she might have been scared.

Luffy stuttered something out that was completely incomprehensible. She imagined it was an apology, but she didn't care, she just wanted him to leave.

"Get out!" She finally screamed, pointing toward the door, and Luffy jumped with a startled yelp. He vanished the next instant, only a cloud of dust remaining with her hollering after him. "And shut the damn door!"

A hand stretched out from somewhere a moment later, slamming the door shut and leaving the couple alone once again.

Nami took a few steady, deep breaths, trying to restrain her temper. Law was beginning to relax beside her once more, the tension in his frame melting away as he sank back into the bed with a disgruntled sigh.

"Does your bedroom have a lock on the door?" She asked.

"No."

"Get one."

He let out a grunt that sounded like a chuckle, and she glanced back to see him smirking, the look tired and a little forced. From then on, they were definitely staying abroad his ship when he visited; slightly less of a chance they'd be barged in on like that.

Though, knowing Luffy, he was bound to do it even then.

"Guess we can't stay in bed like you want," she smiled while turning toward him.

He grunted again, raising an eyebrow as she slid over him, and returning the teasingly chaste kiss she planted on his lips as she lay atop him.

"But I think everyone can live without us for a little bit longer," she continued, slipping him back inside her with ease, both of them sighing with relief.

With the sweet intimacy of minutes earlier disrupted, Law could only grin up at her as his hands clamped onto her hips.

"Then we'd better not waste any more time," he said, and then he was thrusting hard and fast into her from beneath, his lips sealed to hers to muffle her loud cries.

At least they could count on Luffy to ensure they weren't interrupted again.

Back on the beach, Sanji glanced toward his captain as he returned from the ship. He had just finished grilling the sausage links for breakfast. He had chased Luffy off after telling him they couldn't eat without Nami, only to keep the captain from eating the meat raw, he hadn't expected the young man to actually go try to get her out of bed.

He knew it would not turn out well, but seeing Luffy's sunken cheeks and ghostly white complexion, he imagined it was a lot worse than he anticipated.

Law… That lucky bastard.

"I think it would be merciful of you to allow Luffy to eat, Sanji-san," Robin chuckled from a lounge chair, sipping at her morning tea.

"Ah," Sanji grunted as he snuffed out his cigarette. "Just this once."

Later that morning, Nami and Law finally managed to drag themselves out of her room. The crews were beginning to load everything back onto the ships, and Nami felt that sadness sink in again.

She had no idea how long Law might decide to sail with them this time, but considering the very different pace of their two crews, she couldn't imagine it would be long, if at all. As she stared at Franky carrying the broken up tables back into his workshop, though, she felt Law come closer, slipping his hand into hers for a moment to give it a reassuring squeeze.

She already disliked this part of their relationship.

"Nami!" Luffy called out, distracting them from the silent moment of comfort as the young captain came sling-shotting over from Law's ship where he appeared to have been talking to Shachi and Penguin.

Luffy seemed to have shaken off the earlier interruption as he moved between the couple and slung his arms around their shoulders, the biggest grin on his face that either of them had seen.

"What is it, Luffy?" Nami asked hesitantly as her captain snickered, sparing Law a glance to see his own quiet confusion.

"We had an idea and I know you guys are going to love it!" He couldn't contain his good mood as he hugged them against his sides.

Nami couldn't help but giggle when she caught Law gritting his teeth, trying to angle his body out from his fellow captain's hold, only to fail as Luffy's grip tightened.

"What idea would that be?" The red head asked, not hiding her amusement as she met Law's annoyed glare with a smile.

"We're going on an adventure together! Bepo's already tracked a course to a really interesting island, too! The needle was swaying so wildly! It's going to be fun! Shishishishi!" Luffy snickered again.

Nami and Law both blanched, their jaws falling open as they realized Luffy's willfulness was probably going to get them killed. Not only that, but he seemed to have gotten Law's crew in on it.

"What are you doing giving my men orders!?" Law hollered, his temper snapping.

"Luffy! You can't just decide these things! We've already been to enough dangerous islands! Please! I don't want to be eaten alive!" Nami pleaded at the same time.

The couple spent the next few minutes yelling at the man whose boisterous laughter didn't stop, even when he had two sets of hands wrapped around his neck.

"It's going to be fun! And you guys can spend more time together!" Luffy said, his voice strangled by their hands, grin still wide.

Their anger dissolved almost instantly at the reminder, their holds loosening as realization sunk in.

Luffy was doing this for them. He was doing this so they could be together a little longer after being separated for so long.

Nami let herself smile as she released her captain. She really wanted to hug him, but she restrained herself, not wanting to give away just how happy his plan made her, not when it was still up to Law if he would agree to it. She glanced at the other man when she heard him sigh, Luffy doing the same, his smile wavering for a moment as he wondered if the Heart captain would follow his lead.

"Alright," Law sighed again, sparing a hint of a smile as he glanced at Nami, her own growing as she felt relief spread through her. "Just this once. But Straw Hat…" He paused as Luffy perked up at the half-hearted glare sent his way. "Don't think I won't forget you giving my crew orders."

"Shishishi," Luffy adjusted the hat on his head as he turned to move to his spot on the figurehead, preparing to set sail. "Don't worry, Tora-o, you can pick the next adventure. Oh, and it was your crew's idea, I just picked the island."

He rocketed off laughing as Law jerked his head back to stare at his men on their ship in surprise. Penguin and Shachi jumped, startled, and shrieked in fear when he glared at them before running to hide in the ship, practically falling over each other on the way. Nami laughed at the commotion, drawing Law's attention back to her as his annoyance waned.

"Well, it looks like you're stuck with us for a bit longer," she teased, sliding up close to him again.

He huffed, but his smirk came back as his hand went to her waist, tugging her against him. "I guess I had better look into getting that new lock installed."

"I can talk to Franky for you. I'm sure he has a Luffy-proof lock somewhere in his workshop."

"Mm, that would be helpful," he chuckled before sneaking a short kiss to her cheek as the two crews bustled around them to finish the last few preparations.

As he pulled away again, they were distracted by Luffy shouting from his spot, his arms raised in the air as he stared out to the open sea, the allied crews answering with an excited shout of their own.

"Let's go!"

"Ah!"

~fin~

Is that a happy enough ending for you guys? Is it fluffy enough? I hope so. I know it's short, but there was nothing left to wrap up except where they would go from there.

This is actually the first time I felt emotional about ending a fic, though. I mean, this is my longest fic, both in word length and chapters. It has been going for so long, it feels, and it's so weird to imagine it's done. I just want to thank everyone who has reviewed and sent me such wonderful messages here and on tumblr supporting me. I really, really love this fandom. Everyone who has jumped aboard this ship, or come out from the woodwork to start contributing their own work, from the casual shippers, to the curious ones who just wanted a fic to read, to the die-hard passionate folks like me who have a tendency to forget what's canon (whoops)- you all are amazing and don't stop being the wonderful people you are. I hope you keep supporting me and all the other amazing writers who've come along in the future.

I'm sorry, I'm being emotional and sentimental, but really, this was a big project that I didn't imagine would get to this level and I'm just kind of floored it's ending. It's bittersweet. It's something that had to come, I couldn't keep this going forever, even if I wanted to. But, as you all have been teased about, I have another fic already lined up, with chapters completed and ready to post, so you all have that to look forward to. I hope you guys can enjoy that next project as much as you have this one (despite how very different it will be). I hope not to disappoint any of you with it.

But again, thank you all for sticking with this, and to those that are reading this long after it's been done, thank you for picking it up and I hope you enjoyed it. :)

Now, I'm gonna go eat some chocolate and pretend I don't have emotions again...

Then write things that will hopefully crush all of your souls. ^_^
