Model in Disguise

''Kyaa! It's Saki-chan!''

''Oh my gosh! She's beautiful!''

''I love you Saki-chan!''

Saki plastered a fake smile on her features and gave her adoring fans a small wave and a wink. The screams continued to become louder as she walked the red carpet in Japan. She smiled and posed for the paparazzi who were capturing her every moment, bright flashes popping up everywhere and practically blinding her.

She was the star of the night, complete with a diamond-embellished, cranberry red gown. The shoes adorning her feet were white, accented with the same gems as her dress. Her rose-tinted hair was simple, let down with curls at the bottom, giving emphasis to her gown. Even though she was invited as one of the many guests, she was considered the platinum star of the coliseum.

''Saki-chan! Right here!''

''Smile for the camera, Saki-chan!''

After giving her final smile, she walked confidently towards the inside of the coliseum. She knew she was the star. She was a model. An inspiration for young teens. At the age of fifteen, she was the most memorable face in fashion and modeling. She was the envy of girls and the dream of guys everywhere.

''I'm sad to say that most of you failed the pop quiz.''

Iruka sighed as he continued to pass them their papers. He heard a lot of groans from his students except for one in particular. He stopped walking and gave the black haired girl a smile of pride.

''Except for Sakura Haruno who got a perfect score. Do me a favor and be like Haruno-san,'' he quipped, moving to the next student.

Sakura's eyes flitted over the sheet when she received her paper. Another perfect. She pushed back her thick glasses while nodding her head, pleased.

''The nerd did it again,'' a student behind her mumbled with a sigh.

Sakura ignored the groans and irritated remarks of her classmates while putting her papers inside her bag.

''What a nerd.''

''Crazy brain.''

''Bookworm.''

''Smart ass. Gonna show it off?''

None of the remarks really fazed her anymore. It had always been like this. She got good grades, and in return received a lot of insults. There was really no way around it besides falling behind and that was not option for Sakura.

Finally after what seemed forever, the bell rang for the end of class. Sakura stood up with her bag and headed out of the room, followed by students who were bumping her like she was invisible. Unfortunately, she was used to this. She made her way to her locker and saw two girls chatting beside it.

''Have you seen the latest LaLa Magazine?'' a blonde haired exclaimed.

''Of course! Saki-chan was the featured model! How could I not get it the day it came out?''

''She's so pretty….''

A small smirk graced Sakura's lips at their subject matter.

''If only you knew,'' she murmured under her breath while scanning her locker.

The blonde girl raised a brow and gave Sakura a look.

''Are you saying something, nerd?'' she asked with a glare.

''No,'' she said softly, appeasing the two girls.

''Good. Mind your own business and go away, freak.''

Sakura nodded and walked away from the two, not interested in creating any drama.

''Rubidium, Scandium…''

''Gosh, what a freak…''

''Iron, Mendelevium, Copper…''

''We get it, now stop.''

Sakura ignored the command and continued to answer the question from her teacher.

''Is she human?''

''Her brain must make her forehead that huge.''

Rolling her eyes, Sakura finished and went back to taking notes on the lecture.

''Hey, there's a party at the Seniors Lounge this evening. Wanna go?'' someone - a senior most likely - whispered behind her to another student.

''Of course, Takana, it'll be great.''

Sakura groaned. She hated this class not because it was chemistry, but because it was the only class that was mixed with seniors and juniors. If only the seniors could graduate sooner. She personally disliked them quite a bit.

She felt a touch from the senior beside her who was sleeping and rolled her eyes. They seriously needed to graduate. Now.

''Uchiha.''

''Uchiha!''

Sakura blinked. The class was silent when the teacher called on this 'Uchiha' person. She scanned the room and saw the students had stiffened.

''ITACHI UCHIHA!''

The senior beside her suddenly rose from his position and blatantly yawned at their teacher. He began to stretch lazily as if it was his house. Sakura blinked again as she watched him. Disrespectful much?

''Yes Ibi-sensei?'' he asked tiredly while continuing to stretch.

Ibiki glared at him, obviously unappreciative of the nickname.

''Did you know you were sleeping while I was lecturing?'' Ibiki questioned harshly as Itachi shrugged his shoulders.

''I guess.''

Sakura rolled her eyes at his answer and watched the fuming Ibiki. She about heard Itachi a lot from her classmates, saying that he was a hot god and devilishly handsome. She didn't know why most of the girls liked him. He was just a good for nothing lazy ass in her opinion.

''Uchiha, The number of d-electrons in Fe2 + (Z = 26) is equal to that of?'' he asked as Itachi stared at him blankly.

Sakura shook her head and slowly raised her hand to save the poor senior.

''Yes, Haru-"

''P-electrons in CI, Z = 17.''

Sakura froze and stared Itachi incredulously. Ibiki simply rolled his eyes.

''Correct. You may sit down now, Uchiha,'' he murmured and turned back to lecturing.

Sakura's brain couldn't exactly comprehend what had happened at first. What the hell? He was just sleeping and barely listening to Ibiki-sensei but then suddenly blurted out the correct answer?

''Don't be surprised. It was an easy question, you know,'' he said with his eyes closed.

Itachi's words were somewhat surprising to Sakura. It was the first time in a long time at school someone that talked to her without an insult. She smiled a bit. Maybe this 'Uchiha-san' isn't that bad after all. Pulling herself out of her thoughts, Sakura went back to focusing on school.

While she writing notes, she felt a poke from the aforementioned seat mate. She turned her head to him and gave him a questioning look. Itachi simply stared back.

Sakura hated to say it but he was kinda cute actually. He looked like a puppy that had just woken from a nap, all squinty-eyed and spacey. No wonder a lot of girls liked him.

They were staring for a couple of minutes until they spoke in unison.

''Could you lend me notes?''

''You have a pretty face.''

Sakura widened her eyes and covered her mouth. She couldn't believe she'd said that! She stared at Itachi who raised his eyebrow in question.

What. The. Heck. He had a pretty face? Itachi wasn't quite sure what to think. He was expecting something better but 'pretty'? Seriously? What was wrong with this girl?

Sakura flushed in embarrassment and looked away from Itachi. She shouldn't have said that. Why the heck did she say that? What will he think? Wait, she doesn't care what he thinks but still...

After a bit Sakura felt a poke. She ignored him and continued to write notes.

Poke.

Jab.

Poke.

''What is it?'' she asked, hoping the teacher didn't hear her. She saw Itachi smile and chuckle softly.

''What's so funny?'' she questioned as he stopped finally and stared at her.

''You really don't keep comments to yourself,'' he told her, remembering her words.

Sakura raised an eyebrow.

''What's that supposed to mean?''

''Well, figure it out.''

Sakura didn't feel like dignifying him with a response.

''You shouldn't wear those think glasses. It blocks your eyes,'' he commented.

Sakura strained to ignore him and concentrate on the lesson.

''You know, I've noticed something different from you.''

Sakura's heart jumped slightly and she stopped writing. This guy seemed to be observant. Had he noticed that she's wearing a wig? Or the similarities with her 'Saki-chan' persona?

''You know, your notes are really neat, can I have a copy?''

Sakura practically snapped her pen in two and glared at him. Was he trying to flirt with her to get her notes? She shook her head in response his question, beginning to write something in the back of her notebook.

Reasons Why I Hate Chemistry:

Mixed Class

Seatmate

Itachi was about to say something but was interrupted (thankfully) by the bell.

Sakura lifted her head when she heard the sound of freedom. She smiled, packed up, and hurriedly walked out of the room.

Itachi stared at the door. That girl totally ignored him. That was really the first time he had been ignored by a girl. She wasn't really that hot but, she was… okay. Maybe even cute.

Itachi eyebrow rose. Did he just say cute? He shook his head. No, there's something about her that makes him very… excited. It was like she was a puzzle for him, seeing as she didn't fit into the mold of the underclassmen girls that he'd previously met, all giggly and falling over themselves to see him.

He smirked as he went out of the room, followed by the usual horde of girls. This day keeps getting better and better.

''Great Saki, beautiful form.''

Pout.

Snap.

Smile.

Flash.

''Now, lift your chin…Oh! That's perfect! Fabulous!''

Pose.

Flash.

Turn.

Snap.

''And that's a wrap! Good job everyone!''

Applause was heard around the studio as the photographer grinned, giving his approval of the pink haired model. Sakura sighed and gave him a small smile. She then took the bottle of water from her assistant and drank it greedily

''Slow it down, Saki,'' a familiar voice teased. Sakura rolled her eyes and turned to look at the speaker. It was her foster father, Kakashi Hatake.

Kakashi Hatake was famous in the fashion industry. He was a PR maven, her manager and her father. When she was five years old, her parents had died in a car crash. Luckily she was taken in by Kakashi, who taught her a lot of things about fashion. He even let her join his agency, Blackout Management.

Blackout Management was most famous in Japan, but quite popular in the rest of the world as well. It was a very popular agency founded by Kakashi himself. Sakura joined his agency and soon became one of the most powerful young women in the field of fashion.

Being in the fashion industry was hard for Sakura. Being a top model and a student was even more of a hassle. Lessons in the morning, parties and photo shoots in the evening. And on the top of that, she needed to hide her identity in order to experience the normal life of a student as she'd always wanted.

''Whatever, Otou-san.''

A shorter, somewhat feminine guy bounded up to the pair in an almost childish fashion.

''Kakashi-kun! Glad you're here. I've got the reports about your next meeting with Mr. Lexall,'' his secretary said enthusiastically as he handed Kakashi the report. Kakashi sighed while reading it.

''Why don't we do it tomorrow?'' Kakashi suggested half-heartedly.

His secretary glared.

''Nuh uh! Kakashi-kun!'' he exclaimed.

Kakashi rolled his eyes as Sakura giggled. His secretary's name was Cali and he was gay. Kakashi shivered at his touches every time they saw each other. But Sakura was enjoying it, knowing it was one of the few things that could unsettle her foster father. Cali was also the only one who knew her real name besides Kakashi, but he liked to call her Saki anyways.

''Might as well go, Otou-san,'' Sakura said, understanding that Kakashi was frustrated with all the meetings he'd been attending.

''You're going as well, Saki.''

Sakura choked her water and stared incredulously at Cali.

''Are you serious? I don't have time for that,'' she said as Cali shook his head in disagreement.

''You're needed too, Saki-chan.''

''Fine,'' Sakura grumbled and threw her bottle in the recycling bin.

''Be sure to be at my office at six this evening, Sakura,'' Kakashi said, getting a nod from Sakura.

''One question, why exactly do I need to go?''

Kakashi then gave her a smile.

''Because you're Saki-chan.''

She gave him a blank look.

"That's no excuse."
