AN- Here is an update, sorry its taken a while. I've been getting some reviews and have been trying to write another chapter. But I was riding a horse at my barn and jumping 4ft I took a pretty good spill over top the jump and landed on my head. So I put together a little something to give you guys a bone. Sorry I'll try and update longer chapters and more often once my head feels better.

Felicity pulled her jacket close around her as the wind nipped at her. Her mind racing, how could Oliver say those things? He had a wife. Once again he was telling her something that wasn't true. He didn't love her he couldn't love her. They were simply friends. Their friendship was simple that was why Oliver thought he loved her. She thought back to the past, he had always wanted Laurel she had always held his heart even when he was dating Sarah. There was softness in his heart that was always for Laurel and it would never go away. What had changed so much since she had left? How had his eyes changed so much? She remembered the way he would watch Laurel, the way he would smile with her she had always wished back then that he would look at her that way. She had always been attacked to Oliver even before she knew who he was in his free time. She had always been there for him after she found out he was the arrow. She had always wanted to help him, but back then he wanted Laurel.

Now he had Laurel they were married and now she was hearing the words she had wanted to hear back then. It was to late now she couldn't be with him even if he spoke true words. He was only going through a rough patch with Laurel anyways, they would work it out they always did.

Yet what if he really did speak the truth? What if he didn't love Laurel anymore? What if he wanted her? Could they really be a family? Would he still want her if he found out the truth? She shook her head. No. There as no way he could ever know the truth of who Lyanna was. She had to give up her happiness in order to keep the little girl safe. She knew if Oliver were in her place he would do the same thing. Lyanna was more important then either of them.

Yet she couldn't get that kiss out of her mind. She couldn't help but smile thinking of Oliver. She had missed him every single day she was away, even when she first started dating Alex, before she realized he had been a monster. When things had started with Alex she had truly thought she could be happy with him. She had even believed Lyanna was his daughter they had started out so happy picking up where they left off from high school. Yet things began to change and not for the better. There were moments they had together that she couldn't help but wish that Oliver were by her side instead of Alex. She still had her dreams about Oliver, her knight in shinning green leather. Kissing Oliver had re awakened something in herself she hardly knew she had. She forgot what it was like to kiss someone you truly had feelings for and not just every day feelings. She loved the way Oliver made her feel everything about him she loved. He was the man she knew she would always love, but could never be with not after everything that happened. She had to protect Lyanna.

She hated people that blackmailed others, but she saw now how powerful it was. There was nothing she could do against Alex there was no way she could get around everything. This wasn't like in the movies the threats were real. She couldn't allow her daughter to get hurt just because Felicity had feelings for a man. Lyanna came first; Oliver would always come second to her. Yet she couldn't help but feel the pain in her heart thinking about Oliver, he should be able to protect the little girl or at least make decisions on how to protect her. Perhaps she needed to tell him; maybe he could help her figure out how to keep Lyanna safe. He knew more about that darkness in the world then she did, Oliver had seen the darkness in people all the time and even in himself. He would know how to outsmart Alex right? No. She couldn't risk Lyanna that way, while she should know her father Felicity just couldn't allow Alex to hurt her.

Someone grabbed her knocking her from her own mind. She tried to let out a scream but a hand covered her mouth as she was shoved against a wall. "Hello, pet." A male's voice whispered in her ear. Felicity felt fear fill her he was here he had come.

"I haven't told him." She whispered.

"I know you haven't, and you won't." he growled, "Just remember any time I see fit I just press one little button and she's gone. That chip in her mind." She could hear the smile that was on his face simply by the way he spoke.

"I won't tell." She said again.

"Then why is she there?" he asked, "Why does he spend time with her?"

"He doesn't even suspect." Felicity told him, "He thinks Lyanna is your daughter."

"If you want her to keep on living you will do something for me." He stepped closer to her so she could see his face, "You will tell me everything I need to know about the company. All his secrets I will ruin him."

Felicity froze. This was all for the company? She had thought that Alex knew about Oliver bring the arrow; she had thought he wanted Oliver dead for that reason. "Lyanna has nothing to do with his company."

"Yes it does." He growled, "My father started that business as a partner and he pushed my father out! As long as there is a Queen heir that company won't be mine!"

"All this is because of some loop hole to get you the company?" she shook her head, "Leave my little girl out of this!"

"What else would it be about?" he asked. "Who would have thought the girl I used to love actually had a child with my enemy and then tried to pretend she was mine!"

"I thought she could be. I truly did." Felicity whispered as the grip of her arm tightened.

"Don't lie to me whore. Once I knew the truth I knew it would be my only way to get back everything I ever wanted. All I ever wanted was that company and you, but he had you. I want nothing left of you only that company." He growled, but then a smirk came to his face, "But doesn't mean we can't have a little fun." He pulled her away from the wall. She tried yelling out, but he pushed her into his car. "Where we are going no one will hear you. And after if you tell anyone say good bye to your little girl."

Oliver paced back and forth in the living room Felicity had been gone for hours now. He wanted to go out and search for her, but no one was home other then little Lyanna and he couldn't leave her here alone. He thought of Laurel who was upstairs but she was just as good as being not there. He wouldn't trust Laurel with the little girl, but he also wanted to get out on the rooftops and search for Felicity. When he heard the front door he rushed to see if it was her. He felt relief when he saw her walking into the house.

"Felicity-" he started, but she stepped into the light she didn't look right. Her hear was a mess. "What happened?" he asked moving close to her, but she shied away.

"I fell." She mumbled as she walked past him quickly going for the stairs. Oliver reached for her wrist to stop her, but instantly let go when she winced and pulled it from him. He saw a bruise on her wrist that looked like someone had grabbed her.

"Who did this to you?" he asked anger filling his eyes.

"No one." She told him, "I fell, someone helped me up, I bruise easy."

"Felicity-" he stared

"No." she told him, "You don't need to worry about me, I was wrong for coming here. Just please let me go, let us go."

"I can't just forget about you again." He told her, "Not after everything."

"Nothing has happened here." Felicity said. "I should have never come back and messed with your life Oliver. If I had just stayed away none of this would be happening." Tears filled her eyes.

"No." he shook his head. "I'm not going to just let you walk away."

"You have to, you don't have a choice." She whispered, "Tomorrow I'm leaving I already called Barry. We are going to stay with him."

"Felicity." He followed her, "This whole time you've been gone I didn't even realize how lost I was. You brought me back whenever I was about to take a step to far. When you found out who I was I began to be more human again."

"Oliver stop." She shook her head, "I was nothing. I was simply an IT girl I helped you out in areas you couldn't help yourself."

"Yes." He told her, "You helped me remember how to smile again. And earlier when we kissed my world snapped back into focus. All I want is you." He whispered.

"I have a daughter." She told him looking away, "I have more to think about then just what I want I have to think about what is good for her."

"Being here is good for her." He told her, "You and me together will be good for her."

"No." she shook her head, "It isn't."

"Why?" he asked.

"Just trust me." She whispered, "Trust me."

"Us being together is the best for Lyanna." He told her again. "I'm talking to Laurel tomorrow. We are getting divorced and I will spend the rest of my life trying to get your back."

"I was never yours." She told him.

"I should have gone after you." He stepped closer to her, as he did he noticed a bruise on the side of her face. "What happened?" he knew what caused that type of bruise.

"I told you." She started. "I fell."

Oliver's eyes scanned Felicity, her hair was a mess her outfit didn't seem right. He glanced at the skirt she was wearing it looked slightly ripped. His heart began to race as anger filled him. "What happened?"

"Oliver." She started, "Don't." She knew he was smart she knew he was piecing together why she looked the way she did. Tears filled her eyes. "Please don't make me say it."

He pulled her close to him holding her close in a hug as she cried into his chest. He felt the anger in him, but knew he must calm himself to comfort her. Their talk would have to wait. He knew he had to find out whom this man was that did this to Felicity because he was going to end this man; he was going to put an arrow in him. He knew he vowed to not kill anymore, but this man was a monster and he was just going to do this again to someone else. He had to put a stop to monsters. At least that's what he told himself.

"You can't be leaving." Oliver said a few days later as he watched Felicity pack her car.

"I have to leave." She said, "I was wrong for coming here." Placing her suitcase into the car she turned her back on Oliver.

"No." Oliver frowned and took the suitcase out of the car placing it at his feet. "Please re think this."

"You almost went off the deep end!" she whispered, "Because of me."

"He hurt you." Oliver growled.

"It wasn't him!"

"I thought-"

"No." She shook her head, "This is why I have to go. This life isn't what Lyanna needs."

"I'm sorry that night I shouldn't have gone out." He told her. "I shouldn't have let my anger take hold, but Felicity you make me want to be better!"

"I'm done having this conversation." She sighed, "We aren't good for each other, you are married and me." She paused, "I just not ready to start another relationship, it wouldn't be good for Lyanna when we failed."

"If." He told her, "And you and I would never fail. That night we kissed you can't tell me you didn't feel it? My world snapped into focus in that moment and it was all you."

"Stop it." She picked her suitcase back up. "There is more to why we can't be together."

"What?" He took her suitcase back out of the car.

"Lyanna." She said again.

"That isn't a reason." He told her.

"It is." She put her suitcase back in the car.

"I need you." He whispered, "I need you."

"No you don't" closed the door so he couldn't take her suitcase back out. "You did fine here without me."

"No." he shook his head, "I married Laurel."

"You always wanted her." She sighed, "Ever since I first met you. I saw the way you looked at her."

"But you never saw the way he looked at you." Barry's voice interrupted them.

"You're here." Felicity said, "Good My car is all packed. I need to fill yours." She tried to ignore his words.

"Just listen to him." Barry said leaning on the car.

"This isn't your place." She shook her head getting upset with Barry. He knew why she couldn't be with Oliver; he knew why she had to get herself away from him.

"It is my place. I love you Felicity and I love Lyanna this is the safest for the two of you." He told her.

"You know it isn't." she told him. "You know why I have to leave."

"Then find a way around it." Barry took a step closer. "You two are happy again. This is where you belong."

"No it isn't." she whispered.

"You don't belong with me." He told her.

"Then fine I won't stay with you, I can do this on my own, I'm sorry for bothering you." She growled.

"You aren't bothering me." He told her, "And if you really can't stay here then I welcome you into my home, but Felicity this is where you belong."

"Stop you know why I can't live here anymore." She whispered, "You know who came after me."

"You know who it was?" Oliver asked looking at Barry

"Stop it both of you." Felicity almost yelled.

"Mommy." Lyanna said walking down the steps of the front door holding her bear. "Why are you packing?"

"Honey." Felicity said, "Go back inside Mommy will come talk to you in a little bit."

The little girl's eyes scanned the car she frowned. "I'm not leaving!" she yelled running back into the house.

Felicity sighed knowing she should have never come back; she should have never let things go this far. She should have never let Lyanna get this attached. "She's just as stubborn as her fa-" she stopped herself shaking her head.

"Father?" Oliver asked stepping forward.

"Yes." Felicity frowned, "Her father is a stubborn man."

" Felicity, just re-think this, Alex can't get either of you two here." Barry walked over to her, "No one can touch you near Oliver."

"But they can!" She yelled at him, "They already have. He already has."

"I will protect you." Oliver told her.

"I don't need your protecting, Lyanna and I aren't your problem." She whispered.

"But you are." He stepped forward, "You two are my problem. Because since you two walked into my life I can't stop worrying about either of you, I can't fall asleep at night until I know you too are sleeping peacefully. Because I love you Felicity." He paused, "And I love Lyanna."

"You never liked children before." She told him, "Why do you care so much for her?"

"Because she is a part of you." He told her, "And I love you."

"You are married." Felicity told him, "Lyanna and I have the best possible future with Barry. We need to start over away from Alex and away-" she stopped herself, "Away from you. Too much can happen here Oliver. You are a target because of your family name, you are a target with your nightly activities."

"Felicity-"

"No." She shook her head, "You can't just stop being the arrow Oliver, you can't just leave those that can't help themselves to fend for themselves again. You can't give up on these people"

"And what give up on you?" he asked.

"There is no me." She told him, "Just let me walk away Oliver."

He stepped closer to her, "I'm not letting you just walk out of my life again."

"You have to." She sighed, "Because I can't-" she paused, "I can't do anything with a you and me."

"Then I will stop." He told her, "I will be your friend that is it, just please don't leave."

"Oliver we can't just go back to what we were before we left, to much has happened." She looked away, "To much."

"What?" he asked, "Other then time nothing has happened."

"I have Lyanna." She looked at him, "And you have Laurel, those are two pretty big something's."

"We can be friends, we were friends before this, we could do it again." He stepped closer to her, "Please I can't have you walking away not again not if I can do something about it."

"I hate to break up this moment." Laurel's voice broke through their conversation, "But Lyanna isn't in the house." While Laurel didn't like hearing the way her husband talked to Felicity she was worried about the child.

"What do you mean not in the house?" Felicity asked.

"Here." Laurel handed Felicity a note that was written by a child. Felicity's eyes scanned the note.

"She ran away." She gasped. "She doesn't want to leave. She ran away." Her eyes snapped to Barry, "He will find her, we have to find her!"

Barry nodded his head and turned around as he dialed a number on his cell phone. "It's me." He said, "Hack into all camera's." he paused, "Yeah. She's missing."

Oliver looked at Laurel, "You stay here see if she returns." He then looked at Felicity, without even needing words she nodded her head, she knew where he was going and she was going with him.

Lyanna walked down the street her backpack latched to her back. She had hid in one of the cars of the grounds workers that took care of Oliver's house. When they stopped in the city she got out and continued to walk down the street. She didn't know where she was going or what really she was doing. All the child knew was she was mad. Mad at her mother for wanting to take her away. She didn't want to leave the city. She didn't want to leave Oliver.

Lyanna knew her father hadn't always been a bad man, but he had never been like Oliver. She could still remember when she was sick her father had once been nice. She remembered him holding her when she was sick and simply watching Saturday morning cartoons with her.

She also remembered when she changed. He stopped being nice, he stopped hugging her and kissing her. He would say mean things to her and her mother and he would start to drink. He always smelled like a bad drink.

Yet Oliver had talked to her like she was a grown up, he smiled and good smile. Not one like her father had, he had always made Lyanna think of a fox, something about her father's smile just never felt safe. Yet Oliver when he looked at her, when he smiled the child felt safe. She didn't want to leave him.

Lyanna was young, but she knew what fear was. She feared her father and knew her mother feared him as well. She knew her mother felt safe with Oliver, but what the child couldn't understand was why her mother didn't want to stay with him. Why didn't her mother want to be a family with Oliver and live with him forever? That was what Lyanna wanted after all.

"Lyanna." A voice called behind her, it sounded worried. The child turned to see a car had stopped and pulled to the curb. The window rolled down more.

"Daddy?" she asked taking a step closer. While she feared her father, she also still loved him.

"Yes." He opened his door and stepped out. "Hello baby girl."

Lyanna took a step back fearing the night she had last seen her father.

"It's alright baby." He told her, "I'm ok now, I don't drink anymore. I love you. I miss you."

Lyanna looked at her father and while logic on an adult would keep them away the child couldn't help but run to her father. While she had made the choice to run away she was hungry and now cold because it had begun to rain. She ran over to him and jumped into his arms. The man smiled as he hugged her close, but his smile wasn't one of a loving father. No his smiled was more like a fox that had just found it's way into a hen house.

Felicity followed Oliver into the club and downstairs. She didn't even skip a beat as she switched her computer on and began typing away. She had to find her daughter she had to find Lyanna. Alex was out there he would hurt her Felicity knew that. She tried to fight the tears that filled her eyes how could she have let her little girl run away?

She turned around when she head Oliver moving behind her.

It almost took her breath away seeing him all suited up. He walked over and leaned on the chair looking over her shoulder. "Did you find her."

"I'm hacking into the camera's now." She mumbled as she spoke images began flowing onto the screen. "And now I'm running a program to try and recognize her face-" she stopped as one camera image flashed onto the screen. Lyanna was walking holding her backpack straps. The child stopped and glanced at a black car.

"No." Felicity muttered as she saw Alex step out. "No."

AN- Again sorry between staring this chapter and ending this chapter I took another fall. (yeah trying to learn a new horse…a harder horse…) And this time I ended up bruising a rib real bad and just didn't have the energy to pick my lab top off the ground and sit and type. I'm feeling better now so here is a chapter, not long and who knows if it's even good or not, but here it is none the less. Review and let me know what you think
