Night

Stars shining

Wind stirring

I hear

My drawings

Come to life

The cat purrs

The butterfly

Flits over

My head

Oceans lap

Over crumpled paper

Raindrops

Pound against the

Ink

Against the

Crayon

Against the

Leaded

Pencil lines

Paint

Swirls around

It takes on a

Life of it's

Own

I stare

Up at the

White ceiling

In my room

And I smile

This is my world

My Wonderland

My dreams

Are truth

I see things

They don't

From a photo

I look back

Eyes like blue ice

Fur pure white

Striped with black

Despite her icy name

A warm smile

And a warm heart

She's married

A Wolf

Artemis

Eyes that are like

A storm

Fur to match

He is shy

Very much like me

But he loves me

As much as

Mommy does
