Caleb sighed as he watched his 'master' sleep on the bed breathing softly. It slightly annoyed him that Zavid was trying to take over his job. Not that he likes being a slave, but he was the best protector and Zavid was trying to intrude on his territory something no demon should try.

We should teach that one a lesson, Nick is mine. All mine; to possess and cherish. No one else shall touch him or try and have him.

Ours, I like want him as well. However he likes Kody.

But can that little girl give him what he needs? He may be the Malachi but his human side makes him the first Malachi to be a submissive demon. So the two sides need a balance, someone that understands his needs. And I am the only one that can understand and fulfill.

You mean US.

I said that.

Caleb sighed, this boy was the only one in the world that could make his blood thirsty side so calm, now it only threatened ten people a weak in the constant presence of Nick. And he had no idea what he did.

Nick groaned and curled up into the blankets. He was obviously uncomfortable without something grounding his inner beast. Most Malachi were taught control at an early age and yet Nick was left in the dark the only thing keeping him up with Caleb.

Caleb leaned down and whispered into Nick's ear, "Sleep little one, my mate. I shall watch over you tonight."

Caleb kissed Nick's cheek and the younger one nuzzled his head into the elder. And with that he settled down for another night watch.

And there we go, my first attempt at Nick and Caleb. I think next will either be Nick and Zavid or Nick and Acheron. Now someone said that would be weird because of the age gap and if you feel this way I just want to say that I will try and make it seem as not weird as possible. Especially since Acheron or Kyrian don't age in appearance. And I have read Gods/ Percy Jackson characters it just doesn't bother you some times.
