Hey guys. It's finally here, the end the last chapter. It's been great getting to know you all and seeing how many people enjoy this writing.

God bless you all!

"How many did you say there were?" Asked Tavia.

"Hundreds maybe thousands." Lee answered.

"All in the river?"

"Every last one."

Tavia paced up and down. The news was rather troubling.

"So you mean to tell me we've been drinking walker guts ever since we got here?" Kenny chimed in.

"Not their guts. Most likely dead skin cells and black blood is what made it through the filtration system." Said doctor Ambristor.

"Oh well that makes me feel so much better." Kenny sarcastically replied.

"Actually.." Started the doctor "…It may explain all the sickness lately."

"Just thinking about it makes me sick." Kenny responded.

"All right." Said Tavia. "What's happened has happened. Right now we need to work out a solution."

"A solution?" Kenny questioned "We've been drinking walkers!"

"I understand that Kenny." Tavia annoyingly responded "But we have bigger problems now. Like where are we going to find a source of fresh water."

"Yeah we…"

"Kenny!" Shouted Lee. "None of that matters now. We just need to figure out our next step."

Kenny grumbled but didn't speak which gave Tavia the opportunity to do so.

"We have to have a meeting with everyone." She said.

"Agreed." Replied Lee.

With that the four departed for the mess hall.

Tavia wondered the how the group would react to the news. Just having dealt with a horde and now this. It's though they went from one storm to another.

She just hoped that the calm would come soon.

As expected the news was met, with shouting, arguing, and concern. Lee actually thought it reminisced St' John's dairy. The moment he revealed what the group had been eating.

After the initial shock had set in the group discussed some sort of solution.

"Is there any way to filter out the… you know walkers?" Madison asked.

"Unfortunately know. The germs from these things would require specialized sterilization. We don't have the tool or skills for that." Replied Doug.

"Do we have any other source of water?" Lilly asked.

"Unfortunately no. Now we do have around 20 gallons of distilled water that we kept for emergency." Replied Tavia.

"How long will that last us?" Lee inquired.

"About 10 days, maybe less." Tavia responded.

"That's why it is key to find another source of fresh water that is not contaminated by walkers." Said Ambristor.

"But where?" Tavia asked. "We've surveyed this area, there is no other fresh water reserve."

As the group discussed what to do Lee thought to himself. Twenty gallons of water between over 20 people wouldn't last long, even if they rationed it. Then suddenly a thought occurred to him. A risky, crazy thought, but it was one of those ideas that, just seemed to make sense.

There was no need to mention it yet.

He'd wait until he and a few select people were alone.

Night came soon. The group had argued on what to do for what seemed like hours. Yet no solid plan had been put into action.

Eventually, the group decided to eat dinner and figure out what to do after a good night's rest.

However, sleep was the last thing Lee had on his mind. He had already put Clem and Adam to bed and asked Kenny to meet him in front of the mess hall. Now there were just two more people he wanted there.

*knock* *knock* *knock*

The door opened slightly and a blonde haired girl poked her head out.

"Lee isn't it a little late for this." Molly asked.

"I know Molly…" Said Lee "But this is the only time we can do this."

"Oh well aren't you eager…" Said Molly playfully. "Sorry Lee, you missed your chance. I mean we were alone for 2 months, plus I have a roommate now, and it would be ru…"

"Molly!" Lee interrupted.

"Okay," Molly said chuckling slightly. "What do you really want?"

"I need you and Lilly to come with me to the mess hall. Kenny is going to meet us there." Replied Lee.

"All right let me just wake up miss sunshine here."

"She's awake." Lilly said from behind her.

"All right then." Molly said.

"Let's get going."

"Nice of yall to join me." Said Kenny as the others arrived "I've only been standing here freezing for about five minutes."

"Sorry." Lee said. "Had to put Clem to bed first."

"Why didn't you go inside?" Molly asked.

"It's locked." Replied Kenny.

"I have the key." Lilly said.

"What?" Asked Kenny surprised.

"I locked up earlier." Lilly stated.

"Well then open the door." Urged Kenny.

Lilly quickly did so and the four walked into the empty mess hall.

Truth be told it wasn't much warmer inside, but they did have ample protection from the wind.

"All right Lee." Started Kenny as they sat down. "The floor is yours."

"Thank you." Lee replied. "Well it's late so I'll just get right to the point."

Lee cleared his throat before proceeding.

"I think we should leave." He said finally.

"What!?" Kenny exclaimed. "Say that again."

"Now let me explain..." Lee began before being cut off by Kenny.

"Were in a military base. We got food shelter and beds and you want to leave?"

"Let him explain Kenny." Said Molly.

"Okay." Lee continued. "Well 20 gallons of water isn't going to last us long. I think if we left we would have a better chance of finding water."

"Then why not just find the water and bring it back?" Asked Kenny.

"You heard Tavia…" Lee replied. "No water for miles."

"So we look farther. Then when we find it we bring it back here." Said Kenny.

"That'd be a difficult task." Lilly chimed in. "They've circumferenced this entire area for 20 miles. Could you imagine having to go every day for water for over 20 people."

"We could take the last car." Said Kenny. "After Joe repairs it that is."

"He's right." Added Molly. "We have plenty of gas for it."

"Well that's not the only reason I think we should leave." Lee said turning all eyes to him.

"That herd chased us all the way from Savannah and even before that. What happens when the next herd shows up? Or the next one?"

"What's your point?" Asked Molly.

"My point is that I'd rather not have to keep dealing with a new herd." Lee replied.

"I would say that's inevitable, but I assume you have some sort of plan?" Said Lilly.

"Yes." Lee replied.

In truth it wasn't so much a plan as it was an observation. Lee had noticed something about the walkers that the group had previously been unaware of. Something that if utilized properly could really aid in their struggle against the undead…

…or maybe even end it.

Morning came quickly for one member of the group. She had the watch early so as much as she didn't want to, she rolled herself out of bed and got ready.

It was nice having her own dorm. She never had to deal with annoying roommates or people snoring. It did seem like a waste though. All these bunk beds with no one sleeping in them seemed like such a waste.

It was better than the alternative though. Tavia never did get along with roommates…

…Well except for one, though she definitely handled that poorly. However nothing before really mattered. They had survived despite their loss, it was a victory. Until the next herd that is.

Stepping outside, Tavia realized just how hot it had become. It was hard to believe just a few days before this entire area was covered in snow.

Now it was covered in walker remains. The group had done well in removing most of the whole walkers, but mark's explosion had caused many tiny pieces to be scattered… basically everywhere. It would be a few days before they cleared out most of them.

That didn't really matter right now though. She had morning watch and would have to relive Omid.

So she began making her way to the front gate.

"Tavia!" A voice called in the distance causing her to turn her head to the west.

It was Jo. He was outside his cabin, which was odd for him at this hour.

"What is it Jo?" She called back.

"Were having a meeting at the mess hall!" He called "You're going to want to be there!"

"Okay Jo!" Called Tavia.

Wonder what this could be about She thought as she headed to the cafeteria. However, based on the track records of these meetings…

…It wouldn't be good.

Lee waited for everyone to be seated. He was unsure of how the news would be taken, but the four who had met the night before had agreed that it was for the best. Hopefully Tav and the others would agree as well.

"Um, thank you all for coming." Lee began. "I'll just get right to the point."

Lee cleared his throat before continuing.

"Given the recent discovery, we've decided that it would probably be best if we were to leave." He stated.

"We? Who's we?" Pondered Tavia.

"All of us." Lee replied. "It'd be…"

"No!" Interrupted Tavia "Who decided this would be best?"

"Oh," Lee replied realizing what she meant. "Well Lilly, Molly, Kenny and I discussed it last night."

"And you four think you can make decisions for the entire group?"

It was Gregory who asked the question this time.

"No. Of course not." Lee replied "That's why we thought it best to bring it to the entire group to decide."

"So what's the plan?" Asked Madison.

"We think heading north would be best." Lee responded.

"Why do you know about a water source up north?" Asked Tavia.

"No." Lee replied.

"So you want us to take everything we have, leave the safety of this base and you don't even have a plan to deal with our clean water problem?" Complained Tavia.

"No," Answered Lee.

"But we have a plan to deal with our walker problem."

"What?" Asked Ben from across the room.

"If we're right, then there may be a way to seriously decrease the walker threat." Lee said.

"Right about what?" Asked Howard.

"Cold." Lee answered. "The blizzard showed us that when walkers get to cold they can't move."

"It is true." Doug chimed in. "Moments of extreme cold seem to render the walkers into a state of stasis."

"Exactly." Agreed Lee. "We think moving far north is the key. A place where it's cold often. Maybe somewhere near the Appalachian mountains or something."

"So, let me get this straight." Gregory stated. "You want us to take all our provisions, and hike it up north, in hopes that we'll find a livable place in the cold where the walkers are frozen?"

"I actually have a place in mind." Kenny butted in causing everyone's attention to turn to him.

"There was this vacation spot me and Katjaa took the kids one winter up in Maine." He continued.

"It's got a fence, insulated houses and if I recall correctly a very large generator."

"And how do you know any of that is still there?" Asked Gregory.

Kenny turned to him. "I don't, just taking on faith that it's still there."

"Even if it is." Said Tavia. "Maine would take days if not weeks to get to. Even if we found working vehicles."

"I know it will be hard, but we discussed it, and this is the best move for us." Lee told her.

"You four can't go making decisions for the entire group." Replied Tavia.

"We're not." Lee responded.

There was a slight shift in the mood of the meeting. Most of the people seemed to be pondering what Lee meant by that.

Before he could explain however Kenny stood up and addressed the entire group.

"Tomorrow morning me and my family are heading for Maine. Along with Lee and Clem, Molly and Lilly. Anyone that wants to join us is welcome to."

"What kind of time line is that to make a big decision like this?" Asked Tavia.

"We only have enough fresh water to last 10 days. We don't have that kind of time. Tomorrow the eight of us are leaving. The rest of you have all day to decide if you're coming with us or not."

The room went silent. Everyone was looking around the room as if they all wanted to talk with one another, but no one did.

Finally Tavia stood up. "Listen, everyone just go about your chores for now. We can discuss this further at dinner."

"There's nothing, more to discuss." Said Kenny. "We've made the offer…"

"…Yall just gotta decide whether you want to accept or reject it."

Lee looked at his belongings. In truth he didn't have much. Just a few sets of clothes he had found scavenging over the last two months, his gun, and a Bible he had found. Clem didn't have much more. Then again there was an advantage to traveling light. It only took him a few minutes to pack both their things. He looked around the room. This was probably the most of comfortable place he had been since the motor inn.

"What the hell was that?" Came a familiar voice from behind.

He turned to see that Tavia has entered his room.

"Good morning to you too Tav." He replied.

"Answer the question. What was that?" She asked again.

"You'll have to be more specific." Replied Lee.

"You want to just pick up everything and leave on a whim?" She asked.

"Seems like it makes sense."

"What are talking about. We have food, a fence, shelter. How does it make sense to give that all up?"

Lee thought to himself. It was true that this base was relatively safe. They had enough guns and ammunition to fight off a heard as recent events had shown. However this place still missed one key ingredient a human needed to survive.

"There is no water Tav." He said finally.

"We'll find some."

"And then what? Your group has scouted the entire area. We know there is no water source for at least 30 miles."

"Then we'll look farther."

"Then what? Even if we find water 31 miles away, what are your plans. Have someone consistently go to and fro, and lug the water back? You know how dangerous that would be, traveling over 30 miles every couple of days to get water for the group."

"We'll make it work Lee. We have safety, we have weapons, and we have food. We'll make it work."

"No, Tav, I've been in this situation before. Waiting until you have to leave is the wrong thing to do. Right now we have supplies and people aren't suffering from dehydration yet. Besides this isn't just about the water."

"Oh that's right, slow walkers. We dealt with this herd because we were within the base. This place is safe."

"And what about the next herd and the next? Eventually we'll run out of ammo, and the walkers won't stop coming. They're like bloodhounds. As long as there are live bodies the horde will come. The only thing we know is that in cold weather most of them can't move."

Tavia came closer.

"Lee, I don't want to leave this place." She said.

Lee stared at her for a while. This argument was starting to feel very familiar. They were both so stubborn. Neither willing to budge even a little when they felt strongly about something. Sure the world around them was filled with the walking dead, and living humans fighting over what remained. Yet will everything that had changed in the last few months, he and his ex-wife were still couldn't come to an agreement. There was a lesson there somewhere. The more things change the more things remain the same or something along those lines.

"No, one's forcing you to leave Tav." Replied Lee."

"But, Lee what about us?" She asked back.

"This has nothing to do with us." He responded. "In this situation we all have a choice to make, and I've already made mine."

Tavia shook her head. She was obviously distraught by what he had said, but Lee knew that he couldn't make this personal.

"…And it would appear Tav…" He said Finally.

"…That you have as well."

Lilly stood at watch. Despite the mourning announcement they all still had jobs to do. Even if this was their last day here. Despite there almost always being two people on watch, she found herself alone. Christa was feeling a bit weak and Omid had gone to be with her.

Lilly didn't mind though. It gave her time to think. She had agreed to leaving the night before. She had actually agreed with Kenny. It reminded her of their first night at the motor inn. That felt like forever ago.

Still it was good to actually agree for a change. With everything that had happened, all the sorrow, all the heartbreak and all their lost; it was good to agree as a group for once. Well almost as a group. Apparently Doug and Carley had decided to stay. Lilly suspected Omid and Christa would as well. Christa was 5 months along at this point, and it would only get harder for her to travel as time went on.

In any case it didn't matter too much who would go or stay. She believed they had made the right choice. She wondered had they left back when Kenny wanted to at the motor inn. Maybe…

Lilly stopped herself. There was no point in dwelling on what could have been. Their past choices… her past choices could not be changed now. She may have had regrets but there was nothing she could do. The past was the past.

The past…

Lilly looked out into the distance. The motor inn really did feel like a lifetime ago. Despite their arguing, they were truly unified as a group. Part of her really missed that.

But, she reminded herself there was no point in…

"Nice day isn't it?" A voice called from Lilly's left side.

She turned and saw that Lee was now just a few feet away from her. She had been so caught up in her own thoughts she hadn't noticed when he climbed up.

"What are you doing here?" She asked.

"Omid asked me to cover his shift." He replied.

Of course he did Thought Lilly. Just when she was starting to enjoy some alone time.

"So how's the watch?" Asked Lee.

"Quiet." Lilly replied, slightly annoyed.

"Well that's good." He responded.

"It was." Stated Lilly.

"What?" Lee asked.

"um, nothing important." She replied, just realizing she had said the words out loud.

The two remained there in utter silence for about 3 minutes. Both seemingly ignoring the elephant in the room.

"So, Lilly." Lee said finally. "I was kind of surprised that you were so ready to leave this place."

"What?" She asked.

"Well I thought you'd be a little harder to convince given…" Started Lee before Lilly cut him off.

"Given what Lee? The Motor Inn?"

"Well… yeah. I just didn't expect you to be so ready to leave this place."

"I learn from my mistakes." Lilly responded.

"What mistakes?" Asked Lee.

Lilly sighed. She really didn't want to talk about the past, but there was no point in denying Lee an answer.

"The Dairy." She replied finally.

"The St. John's?"

"Yes, the St. John's. You remember why we were so willing to trust them?"

"Because we were hungry."

"We were practically starved for help. If we hadn't been so hungry we wouldn't have given in so easily. The bottom line is we make bad decisions when we're desperate. I don't want to be in that position again."

"Me neither." Lee replied.

For a moment the two were silent, then Lee started talking.

"Lilly, since we're about to embark I think I should clear the air."

"Please not this again Lee." Lilly begged.

"Just listen. I know I put you through a lot, and I'm sorry. How about we just forget everything that happened and just be friends."

"What!?" Lilly asked surprised.

"I think it may be best, if we just leave the past in the past and move on."

The past… Lilly thought to herself. There was no use in dwelling on the past. What was done was done. What really mattered is what she did right now.

"You're right I think it is time to move on." She said.

"Good." Replied Lee.

Lilly walked up to him. After everything they had been through, all the pain, all the anger, all the emotional turmoil; there really only one thing she had left to say to him.

"Give me that ring."

Tavia struggled with the communication equipment. It was really old but radio waves were probably the only thing people were still listening to. She knew it was a fat chance that someone would hear them, but at this point they were desperate. It had been three weeks since Lee left and he took more than half of the people with him. Though say he took them was unfair. She wasn't surprised that Jo Lee's former student had gone, but Madison and Howard. Regardless, they were short staffed and quickly running out of water. Whether she liked it or not, Lee was right. They had found no water and if Doctor Ambristor's calculations were correct, they would run out by the end of the week, and even that was only if they strictly rationed it. This was made worst by the fact that both couples from Lee's group had decided to stay behind. Christa was worse as was at the point of her pregnancy where she needed more water.

Tavia sighed. "Maybe, we should have gone with them." She said to herself. However, it was too late. The others would have been long gone. They had made their decision to stay and they had to deal with the consequences.

"Hello! Is there anyone out there?" Tavia called across the radio waves.

There was no answer, but she would continue to try to reach out until she got an answer. She had too.

"Hello! Is there anyone out there?" She called again.

No response.

"Please! Someone! Anyone!"

Suddenly there was static.

Stupid old equipment Thought Tavia. She began to wonder if her signal have even gone out.

"…..He…a…"

Tavia listened in realizing that was more than just static.

"Is…..an….h…"

"Hello!" She replied "Is anyone there?"

"Hello…..who's this…." A male's voice called back.

"We're a group of survivors stationed at an old military base." Replied Tavia.

"Oh, I think were about 50 miles out from there." The man answered back. "If it is the same base I'm thinking about."

"Listen." Pleaded Tavia. "We need help. We are running dangerously low on water, but we have a lot of food we can trade."

"Food?" He asked.

"Yes food." She replied.

There was silence for a moment and Tavia was wondering if she had said too much.

"And you say you are willing to trade?" He asked finally.

"Yes." Replied Tavia trying not to sound too eager.

"How many of you are there?" He asked.

Tavia hesitated before responding. This was risky. For all she knew they could have raided the place and killed everyone.

"Why would you need to know that?" She asked.

"Sorry, mam but we're a group of survivors and we look for people to join our community. We have a wall, and we're even starting to grow our own food, but we lack the people. Do you think your group would be interested in joining us?"

Tavia thought for a moment. She had denied leaving before, but things were different now. It made sense to at least consider leaving.

"Okay, perhaps a few people from your group can meet us and we can discuss the matter." She said finally.

"Fine, two of us will come. We have a car so we should be there within an hour, 2 the most."

"Okay, oh by the way." Said Tavia. "What's your name."

"Oh," He called back.

"I'm George the guy coming with me name is Alvin."

Despite travelling farther north it had actually gotten hotter. Though Katjaa said it was something called Indian Summer. She claimed by tomorrow the weather would be back to normal.

Clem didn't mind however. She liked the heat for a change. It had to be at least seventy degrees as the group walked toward the nearby town. They had found vehicles two weeks ago and had been making their way north in style, but the bad thing about cars' is that they need gas. Which is why their entire group was now on foot. Hopefully there would be some gas in the town.

"How you doing sweetpea?" Lee asked her.

"I'm fine." She replied.

"That's good." Responded Lee. "Hopefully we can find some gas in this place."

"Looks like a gas station near the edge of town there." Kenny pointed out.

"What if there isn't any gas there?" Clem asked him.

"Then we'll syphon the gas out of as many cars as we can find." Replied Kenny.

"What's Syphon?" Asked Duck.

"Well it's removing gas from cars." Lee answered.

"Isn't that stealing." Asked Adam from behind them.

"Not if the car is abandon…." Kenny started to say before seemingly remembering their history with the boy and his father's vehicle.

"I mean, if no is coming back to their vehicle of course." He corrected himself.

"Either way, we should be able to get gas and keep going north." Lee stated.

In truth Clem didn't mind walking, but she had enjoyed resting her legs as the group whizzed by the east coast.

"So how are you and the misses?" Kenny jokingly said to Lee. "It still sounds weird saying that."

"We doing fine." Replied Lee.

Clem giggled. Lee and Lilly married. It was sudden. Lee and Lilly basically just announced it and got it done all in one day. She was happy for them, but had to admit it was a little strange at the same time. The other night when the group had stopped at an abandoned house to rest, Lilly and Lee had disappeared for about an hour. When they came back Lee said they were getting to know each other better. Clem didn't understand why they had to be alone to do that, but she didn't think too much on it.

"We're approaching the town, be on your guard." Lee told the group as they neared the gas station.

There wasn't much there. The gas pumps, some broken glass and a few items spread around, but no cars, and thankfully, no walkers.

"All right we should check the pumps." Kenny said.

"Clem, stay with Howard and Madison." Lee told her as he went with Kenny to check the gas station.

Clem watched as Lilly, Molly, Jo, Kenny, and Lee, checked each pump. She prayed that there would be gas in them. She didn't want to have to explore this town.

"No use Lee." Clem heard Kenny say. "The pumps won't work without power."

"Maybe we could break them open." Lee Replied.

"No, good." Responded Kenny. "Would take a while. We need to find a way to get the power on."

The group spread out, Clem assumed to look for a way to turn on the power.

"So how cold do you think it will be?" Asked Duck.

Clem turned to the young boy. "Where?" She asked.

"Wherever we are going?" He answered. "Dad said it'll be snowing all the time, so I think it will be pretty cold."

"Probably." Adam chimed in.

"I don't like the cold." Said Duck.

"But snow is fun." Clementine told him.

"Yeah, it is." Duck Replied.

"I think I found the generator." Clem heard Molly say.

"Is it working?" Asked Kenny.

"I don't know…" She replied. "Let me s.."

Suddenly the generator kicked in. It was working all right, but it also started to make a lot of noise.

*ring* *ring* *ring*

"What's that noise?" Asked Clem.

"It's the alarm!" Howard screamed. "Turn the generator off!"

"I did!" Molly screamed back. "The alarm must run on its own battery!"

Just then clem noticed a small group of walkers emerge from behind the gas station.

"Walkers!" Molly screamed.

The group began fighting back. Howard and Madison even joined in. However as the alarm blazed more walkers continued to show up. Soon the group was surrounded.

"Come on let's get to the roof!" Lee shouted. The group did so, slowly making their way to the generator. Molly climbed on and Kenny passed up Duck, then Adam and last Clementine. From on top Clem could see that there were dozens of walkers all making their way to the gas station.

Thank the Lord that everyone was able to get to the roof in time.

"Boy do you guys make a lot of noise." Clem didn't recognize that voice. She turned around to see two people she hadn't seen before looking at them, one man and one woman. The man had a large set of hair. Clem believed it was called an afro.

"Who are you two?" Asked Lilly.

"We are two people who know how to scavenged without alerting the whole neighborhood." Replied the man.

"I think she meant where'd you guys come from?" Kenny asked.

"We could ask you guys the same thing?" It was the woman who spoke this time.

"All right that's fair." Lee stated. "My names Lee and we are a group heading north. We stopped to get gas but accidently triggered the alarm."

"They don't need to know the whole story Lee." Said Kenny.

"Well I'm Marcus and this is Maya." Marcus replied. "We live about 100 miles north of here."

"In the mountains where the walkers are a lot slower." Maya chimed in.

"The mountains?" Lee asked

"Yeah," Replied Marcus. "There are some cabins up there."

Just then the alarm stopped sounding. Only the moans of the many walkers could be heard below.

"The battery must have died." Said Lilly.

"Now we wait." Molly stated.

"So these mountain cabins." Kenny Pondered. "They pretty secure?"

"Yeah," Replied Marcus "and we are currently looking for people to help out."

"Marcus." Maya interrupted.

"They have kids Maya, if they've kept them alive this long they can't be complete savages."

"Thanks." Replied Lee.

"Listen if you guys want once these walkers dissipate, we can get your gas and head to the cabins. You guys can get a good night's rest if anything." Marcus stated.

"Thank you." Kenny said.

Clem looked around. The walkers had begun to mellow out. Of course it would still be a while before it was safe to go down. It would be night soon and unfortunately for her…

…It was starting to get cold.

It felt good to be in the car again.

They had gotten the gas and filled up all the vehicles. Now they were following Marcus and Maya up the mountain to where the supposed cabins were.

Lee looked to his left to see clem asleep on his lap, while Lilly was sleeping on his chest to his right. He thought to himself God has truly blessed me. He had a new wife, and someone who he admired like his own child. He had finally gotten what he wanted all those years ago. It was truly amazing.

"We should be getting there soon." Jo called from the front seat. "We're reaching the state border."

Lee look out the window and saw the state welcome sign, but it looked different.

"Hey Marcus." Lee called cause the man who was riding shotgun to turn back.

"The state sign." Inquired Lee. "Did someone write on it?"

"Yeah," Marcus replied. "Some people did that a while back. It certainly fits the current situation don't you think."

"it really does." Lee replied.

The sign once said welcome to the State of Maine. However the word Maine had been blotted out and the sign now read.

Welcome…

…to the State of Decay.

Thank you all who made it to the end. Well it's been fun.

Also just so you know I don't plan on continuing this in the State of Decay universe. I just wanted to pay homage to another cool zombie franchise.

I may start writing some other non-related stories though, so watch out for that.

May God bless each and every one of you.
