Here's my first Hunger Games fanfic so... hope you like it! I don't own hunger games characters.

She was being chased by who, she didn't really know. Last thing she remembered was being up in a big tree surrounded by the first and second tributes. And the weird thing is Peeta was with them.

Peeta wouldn't do that to me! Or would he?

She ran on.

I feel like I'm drunk and sick. Wait, there was someone important there! Hmmm... RUE!

She heard a scream behind her and increased her speed still stumbling. She ran and lost her balance, hitting a tree branch on the way down. She looked at her hand when she got up and saw that there was green stuff coming out. She slowly looked around. She saw a little squirrel coming towards her, as it came closer it transformed into a were-squirrel with large sharp teeth and red eyes. She turned around and ran as fast as she could. When she fell again, she stayed down for awhile and after a few minutes, she heard Prim scream. She looked up fast to see Prim standing in front of her crying. Behind Prim was her mother holding a crossbow that had just been fired. As Prim died and faded away, her mother became one of the tributes, turning into Peeta, into President Snow and last, herself.

Nooooooooo! Prim! You can't be dead!

She ran away, only to see her dad walking in a line with other men to the mine. She started running towards him, but with every step, he got further away from her until there was an explosion and he died. She ran away fast with tears in her eyes.

Dad!

She was running when she fell on something and turning, she saw what it was. It looked like a stick but as she looked at it longer, it turned into a cobra with bright yellow skin and ugly powerful blood red eyes. It started to say things.

May the odds be ever in your favor! Katniss, the girl who was on fire! Leave the district. Run off. Live in the woods. You and I, we could make it. Because...because...she came here with me.

The snake quit speaking and attacked her but she moved and didn't get hit. She ran and turned seeing Dale get bit by the cobra. Before he died, he turned into Peeta,"Love you, Katniss." and he slowly died. Katniss ran off and fell for a third time. This time, she didn't get up and just passed out with grass covering her.

She began to slowly wake up and realized she was still in the games. She got up and started walking away, remembering the danger she was in. She remembered all of the things that had happened and wondered what was real and what wasn't. She looked at her hand and there was dried blood on them.

I cut the branch with a huge hive of tracker jackers and they fell and scared everyone off.

She turned and ran away to find Rue.
