"You were lucky tonight, Seras." Seras opened her eyes at the sound of Alucard's voice. She saw nothing; she was weightless and her master was nowhere to be seen.

"If you continue to act recklessly you will die, no amount of training can save you" His voice echoed.

"Alucard, where are you? I know you're here but I can't see you." Seras called out to the void. Red smoky tendrils emerged from the darkness to wrap around her legs and forearms. Seras began to panic as the tendrils slithered all over her body. "Master!" She cried out in fear.

The tendrils stopped as Alucard sighed. "Seras, you are weak. You are human and vulnerable." The smoky tendrils turned her body around and she gazed into a pair of crimson eyes visible in the dark. They were troubled eyes, but not unkind.

Seras reached out to Alucard and a tendril met her hand and twirled around her fingers. She watched the affectionate tendril as it reached up to caress her face. "I can save you, Seras, if you want… Do you want me to save you?" Alucard asked softly.

"I don't understand Alucard, how would you save me?" Seras called out, but the eyes closed and the tendrils slipped away. Leaving Seras completely alone.

Seras woke up in the same hospital bed she used when she first came to Hellsing, but this time the Wild Geese were there waiting for her.

"Mignonette you are awake! It's about time, how do you feel?" Pip cheered.

"My neck hurts like hell." As memories of her lone fight with the vampire came back to her she reached for her neck and felt the thick bandages there. "What happened?!" Seras cried out.

"Well lass, you put up one hell of a fight from what we heard. You should have called for us before running after that crazy vampire bitch all on your own! She managed to scrape your neck but don't worry, you won't be turning into a ghoul any time soon!" Pip laughed.

Seras looked around at the members of the Wild Geese with a smile on her bright face. "Thank you guys for looking after me."

"Seras," Pip beamed at her with pride, "That was Mr. Alucard. He found you and carried you back to Hellsing." 'What a woman… She has grown to be so much more than a girl fighting for her life. Now she fights for Queen and country as a soldier of Hellsing.' Pip thought to himself.

"Alright now boys, let's give her a little space. For Christ's sake, I didn't see any of you wrestle with a vampire!" The men laughed and patted Seras on the shoulder before they took their leave; some congratulating her, others wishing for a speedy recovery. "We'll see you later mignonette, don't think you can get out of training with us because of that little 'paper cut' on your neck." He joked.

Seras laughed and watched Pip shut the door the infirmary room.

Alucard sits on his chair in his room with one of his legs spread over the arm rest. He rested his head on his fist supported by his thighs. 'She has so much potential as a vampire; even as a fledgling she would be terrifying!' He licked his lips when he thought of Seras with red eyes, covered in blood. 'I can't get the taste of her out of my mouth!' He closed his eyes as he recalled the mission last night.

Bang! Alucard snapped his head up as he heard the gunshot. He leaped off of the roof he was watching the infiltration from. Running through a maze of alleys he saw Seras; or rather, the dead vampire lying on top of her… Then, the smell hit him. Seras's blood had been spilled and Alucard growled in his throat. He stalked over to the vampire filth on top of Seras and picked up the body by the neck. He grinned when he saw the bullet hole in her head pouring out blood from a small ring of shattered bone. Alucard threw the body to the side and kneeled down by Seras.

She had scrapes on her knees and forearms, but it was nothing serious; what concerned him was the small gash on her neck. Pressing his face close to her neck, he breathed in Seras's scent deeply. 'It doesn't smell like Seras… If that vampire bit her, then…NO! I will be the one to change Seras!'

Alucard leaned in to Seras neck and let his tongue slither past his fangs and dip into the wound. He groaned in ecstasy and lapped at his kitten's sweet, heavy blood. When he no longer tasted that foul vampire on her blood he pulled away. "You are mine, Seras." He said lowly as he licked blood off his lips.

"Mmmhmn." Seras groaned in her sleep and shifted slightly. Alucard gently wiped the dirt off of Seras's face and picked her up. Her head lay on his chest and he carried her all the way back to Hellsing after ordering the Wild Geese to clean up the vampire body on the street.

I know you must hate me right now... I know it's been so long since I've put out a new chapter ._. I'm sorry. I'm still a inexperienced writer so please take care of me! Thank you to all the people that have reviewed and favorited the Right to Live, I do all this for you! :)

Just a quick question, do you like gory scenes, fight scenes, or scenes that pay the most attention to individual characters like Seras and Alucard? I just want to make sure that I'm writing what you readers want to read! Thank you for your help!
