Laura: So this is it! This is the final chapter of Let Me Love You! I have to admit, this became bigger then I ever thought it would. Honestly in the beginning I thought it was kind of dumb but you guys seemed to really like it and as time went on this story definitely grew on me. It's funny how something you were just goofing around with could become liked by other people XD I really hope you all like this last chapter! Read on my friends!

DISCLAIMER: I OWN NARUTO! ... No I don't...

Sasuke: Really? Couldn't think of a better disclaimer then that?

Naruto: Leave her alone. She finished her second story, she deserves praise not put downs.

Laura: And that is why you are my favourite Naruto :}

Sasuke POV

When Monday morning rolled around Naruto picked me up so he could drive us both to school. We chatted about what we did over the weekend and made plans to go out for another date night again sometime during the week. The ride was peaceful, it was like everything around me just seemed... brighter. I felt bubbly and energetic, I felt like I could run for miles and not get tired. I was feeling all sorts of things and not one of those emotions were negative.

Naruto and I are dating... we're a couple. Now that it's finally happened it seems so serial. I must have texted him 30 times over the weekend just to make sure that this wasn't all a dream. I never knew that going from best friends to boyfriends could be so simple. The two of us were already so close before, it wasn't much of a change really now that I think about it. Are relationship now just involves a lot more of touching and flirting, which in my opinion makes it a million times better.

I couldn't seem to wipe the grin off my face as Naruto drove through our quiet little town. The sun was shinning brightly through the windshield making me squint slightly, but even the blinding morning sun in my eyes couldn't alter my mood. "You should have heard my Mom and Sakura last night." Naruto chuckled, grabbing my attention. He grabbed a pair of sunglasses out of his glove department and handed them to me without taking his eyes off the road.

I smiled at him appreciably before putting on the shades, they were a little too big for my face but I didn't mind. "As soon as I came back home from dropping you off they were on me. 'How was it?!' 'Did you guys kiss?!' 'Did he like my cooking?!'" I laughed as Naruto did his best impression of his mother and sister. "It was ridicules! I finally had to run away and lock myself in my room, but even then Sakura continued to question me through my door." "Where was your dad during all of this?" "Laughing his ass off in the study. I could hear him from my room."

I chuckled again as Naruto rolled his eyes dramatically and leaned back into his seat. "You would think a man would defend his only son." "You can't blame them for being excited." "Speaking of crazy parents, what did your folks say?" "Are you implying my parents are as crazy as yours?" "No one has crazier parents then me but yours are pretty bad too... in a weird calm way.." "That kind of contradicts your argument." Naruto sent me a quick playful glare before turning back to the road. "Just answer the damn question Uchiha, I know where you live."

I shrugged as I looked out of the passenger window. "Nothing really. My mom asked me how it went, and my dad, in his own round about way, asked if we did anything.. inappropriate." Naruto looked over at me uneasily. "What kind of 'round about' way?" "He just made a lot of weird hand gestures... It made me a little uncomfortable.." We were both silent for a second before he spoke up again. "Did we do anything inappropriate?" Naruto asked, I wasn't even looking at him but I could tell he was smirking to himself.

I smiled as I leaned my elbow on the side door and rested my face on my palm. "I don't think so." "What about that kiss?" "I think it was pretty clean.." I heard a breathy chuckle coming from the driver's seat making me roll my eyes. "What's so funny?" I asked, only mildly curious. "I don't know. You and I are sitting here discussing whether our kiss was inappropriate or not like it's an everyday occurence. It just seems kinda funny, don't you think?" "Will it be an everyday occurrence..?" I found myself asking hopefully.

The car became quiet and I began to wonder if I had upset him some how. I lifted up my head and turned to face him only to have warm lips quickly press up against mine. A light blush covered my features as Naruto grinned at me. "Definitely." A small smile crept onto my features as Naruto settled back in his seat and glanced back at the road. "Good." I then began to grin at him. "I like your kisses." My comment seemed to catch him off guard and he sputtered a little.

It was fun watching the normally cool-headed Naruto become flustered by something I had said. "Geez.. hehe.. Your really embarrassing you know that?" "You better get used to it. Now that were dating I have full permission to embarrass you to my heart's content." Naruto chuckled evilly as he sent me a side glance. "That goes both ways you know." His blue eyes sparkled with mischief and I was immediately reminded of who it was I was dealing with. "There's a few ways I could go with this."

He chimed as he took in my bitter expression. "I could send you incredibly cheesy and embarrassing love notes in the middle of class, I could make inappropriate advances on you in front of all our friends. I could even run around the building shouting how much I love you. And that's only at school." "Okay okay I get it. Don't mess with the master. I surrender." "So its a truce then?" "Its a truce." As we pulled into the parking lot of our school I could feel myself starting to become anxious. "Relax." Naruto cooed as I handed him back his sun glasses.

"Nothing's gonna happen." "People are going to be mad at you." I said seriously. "Your going to lose your popularity because of me." "Okay first of all" Naruto chuckled as he shut off the engine. "What 'popularity'? And second of all, I'm pretty sure that I asked you out. So it's not your fault. And third of all" Naruto turned to me and gently cupped my cheeks with his hands. "I could care less what these idiots think of me. I'm with you and I'm happy, that's all that matters." I sighed thankfully as he stroked my cheeks with his thumbs. I don't want to cause him any trouble, but if he says he doesn't care I guess I should just let it go.

Naruto playfully kissed my nose before pulling away from me and un buckling his seat belt. I followed his actions and the two of us jumped out of his car together. I silently followed him as we headed towards the doors, there weren't many students outside but the few that were seemed to be ignoring us. Whether it was out of hate, or they just didn't care I couldn't tell. When we finally reached the entrance to the school Naruto surprized me by grabbing my hand suddenly. I looked up at him wondering if this was a good idea or not. He didn't look at me, he just smiled to himself before pushing open the doors and pulling me along with him inside.

The two of us met up with the rest of the gang shortly after at Naruto's locker. "Well look at you two." Kiba smirked as he studied our intertwined fingers. "You actually look like a couple." "That's the idea." Naruto said as he leaned up against his locker, looking particularly happy with himself. "I'm happy for you both." Hinata smiled as she curled into Kiba's side, the brunette wrapped his arm around her in response. "You look great together." "Thanks." I responded a little embarrassed.

Naruto grinned at me causing me to punch him in the arm. "I don't think they've changed all that much." Sakura piped up from beside Lee. "They're still the same idiots, it's just now they're idiots who are screwing each other." "Seriously Sakura? This is the first thing you say to us in the morning?" Naruto asked exasperated. "Hehe sorry sorry, I'll stop." "Well I hate to break up the fun but we better get going." Lee announced as he grabbed Sakura's hand. "Ya us to." Kiba sighed as he and Hinata began walking off. "See ya at lunch!" "Later man." Naruto waved him off.

After I had said goodbye to Lee and Sakura I turned to Naruto and smiled. "Well that went better than I expected." "What do you mean?" He asked curiously as he began opening his locker. "I mean I was expecting a lot more teasing. Especially from Kiba and Sakura." Naruto chuckled as he pulled out a few of his books. "I'm sure they'll continue later. They probably just didn't have enough material right now." "You don't sound worried." I smirked as I crossed my arms and leaned up against the lockers next to him.

Naruto grinned at me. "What's there to be worried about?" I was going to smile but suddenly I felt cold. Now that the two of us were alone I was painfully aware of what was going on around me. I did a quick sweep of the hall and just as I had predicted, most of the students were glaring at us. "How about that?" I mumbled as I subtly motioned to all the students staring at us. Naruto looked over his shoulder for a moment, his eyes narrowed for a second but other than that he didn't seem bothered by it.

He turned back to me with a serene smile. "Just ignore them." "Its hard." "I know, but their opinions don't matter. They're just a bunch of dumb teenagers, we don't need their permission to be happy together." I couldn't help but be a little impressed by his maturity, my expression must have shown my surprise because the next thing I knew Naruto was lightly bumping me on the head with his fist. "Could you at least pretend not to be surprised when I say something smart?"

"Say smart things more often and I wont have to be surprised." I giggled as Naruto scoffed then pulled his hand away from me. "Alright" Naruto sighed as he closed his locker then turned to face me. "As much as I love being insulted by you" I smiled as he slowly wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me close to him. "I should get going." I let out a little sigh of my own before nodding. "I guess your right." "See you at lunch?" He asked in a flirty tone.

I decided to play along and batted my eye lashes dreamily up at him. "I can't wait." Naruto laughed before leaning down and kissing me on the cheek. I waved to him as he walked off, he still didn't seem to be bothered by the glares as he headed into the classroom. Once he was out of sight I took a deep breath to ready myself for the day then walked down the halls with my head held high.

I was pleasantly surprised when I got into my classroom, if people were pissed at me they kept it to themselves. Other then the quick glares a few of them sent me, everything seemed normal. I concentrated particularly hard on the lesson today in an attempt to distract myself, it wasn't exactly interesting but it kept me occupied. Halfway through the lesson though someone came and knocked on the door. "Just a minute." Azuma sensei shouted as he put down his piece of
chalk and headed for the door.

I didn't bother paying attention to what they were saying but suddenly their conversation perked my interest when I heard my name come from the messengers lips. I chanced a glance over to the door and frowned when I realized they were in fact talking about me. "Sasuke, come here for a sec." No surprise there. I sighed before standing up and pushing in my chair, I could feel all eyes on me as I walked the short distance to the front of the classroom.

"Yes?" "Lady Tsunade would like to see you in her office." "What for..?" The messenger shrugged before hurrying off down the hall back to their appropriate classroom. Azuma looked at me then nodded towards the door, motioning for me to go. "Your excused. Go on." Feeling confused, I quickly stepped out into the hall then proceeded to speed walk all the way to lady Tsunade's office. What could she want with me? I haven't done anything bad. At least I don't think so... I hesitated before knocking on her door.

The last time I had seen her I wasn't exactly in my best state, not to mention the fact that she now knows what happened between me and Neji... I had no doubt in my mind that this was going to be awkward as I heard a faint "Come in." Coming from the other side of the door. For the second time that day I took a deep breath to muster up my courage. I wish Naruto was here.. I hate to sound like a baby who always needs his hand to be held, but a little moral support never hurt anyone.

I slowly pushed open the office door then took extra time to close it quietly behind me. Partly because I was stalling and partly because I was tired of Lady Tsunade yelling at me about slamming her door. As expected she was sitting behind her desk, arms folded in front of her and a small smile on her lips as I came into her view. Well it doesn't look like I'm in trouble. She seemed calm, this type of situation was rare so I decided to go along with the strange atmosphere.

I quickly took the seat in front of her and forced out an awkward smile of my own. "You wanted to see me?" Lady Tsunade nodded but said nothing. I swallowed and shifted in my seat before speaking up again. Her gentle smile was a little un nerving. "Is something wrong..?" I asked hesitantly. Again she said nothing. However this time she slid a yellow piece of paper across her desk and over to me. I stared at it curiously. "Read it." She said.

I did as I was told and began to mumble to myself as I read. "Dear Tsunade, I am regretful to have to tell you this through a letter and not in person, but the current circumstances made it impossible for a face to face meeting... I have decided to transfer my son Neji Hyuga.. to another school..." "Keep going." "..We have just moved to a new town... and it seems un logical to keep him at Konoha high..." Reading anymore was un necessary. I slowly looked back up at Lady Tsunade dumbstruck.

"Is this.. Real?" She actually started chuckling at me! I suppose I did look quite comical with my wide eyes and hanging mouth, but my question was sincere. "Yes its real. I just thought you should know. Neji is not coming back." A mountain of emotions seemed to rush through me all at once. Of course I was happy that he was gone, hell, I was ecstatic, but I also felt a little annoyed, annoyed that I would never get the chance to confront him and promptly kick him in the balls. (I'd probably chicken out but it was a nice thought.) It was a small price to pay for my freedom I suppose.

Freedom... Is this what this really means for me..? No more hiding in fear that he could pop up around every corner, no more worrying about if he would ever try to do it again... No more nightmares... It'll all be gone, he'll be gone, along with all my horrible memories. I'm not really sure what happened next, everything kind of turned hazy. Lady Tsunade said something before motioning to the door but I couldn't hear what she said. I walked back to my class in a daze, a warm, fuzzy daze that made me feel like I was floating.

The rest of the morning flew by for me and before I knew it the bell was ringing, signalling it was lunch time. The loud, obnoxious ringing broke me out of my state of bliss almost as if someone had slapped me in the face. Pushing my way out of the doorway, I made my way down the crowded halls and out into the picnic area, where our usual hanging spot was located. Just as I knew they would be, Sakura, Lee, Kiba, Hinata and Naruto were all sitting at the table.

I jogged the rest of the way over to the three of them and came to a wobbly halt in front of them. "Yo duck butt!" Naruto had his back to me but turned around at hearing Kiba's shout of a greeting. "Sasuke." He smiled up at me and I couldn't help but return the expression. Without a word I took hold of his hand and did my best to tug him off the bench. "What are you-" He began to question as I hauled him away from our confused group of friends. "I've got something to tell you! Come on!"

The two of us ran to a hidden area behind a patch of bushes, we flopped down on the ground, trying to catch our breath. "What's this all about?" Naruto questioned in between shallow breaths. I opened my mouth to answer him but he cut me off, a smirk was on his face. "You wanna mess around at school huh? Kinky. I didn't think you were into public indecency." "You wish. I have some great news! It involves Neji!" Naruto gave me a funny look. "How could anything involving that piece of shit be great news?" "He moved!" "..What..?" "Neji and his family moved! He's not coming back here! Not ever!"

It seemed to take him a few seconds to process my words, but when it finally clicked he did something that I wasn't expecting. He leaned over and hugged me. I had thought that he would do some kind of victory cheer and fist pump the air. Despite being surprised I welcomed his warmth and buried myself into his chest. "That's great Sasuke... Things will get better now." "They already have. I have you now, remember?" Naruto let out a breathless chuckle then suddenly sat back.

He grabbed my arm and pulled me over to him, somehow he managed to pull me into his lap so I was now straddling him. Naruto grinned up at me as I blushed, embarrassed by our new position. "You always had me baby." "Baby..? So were already at the pet name stage?" "Technically we were already there." Naruto smirked as he wrapped his arms around me and laced his fingers behind my back. "We've been calling each other Naru and Sasu for years." "Ya but baby and honey is a completely different thing.." "Do you not like it?" I pinched his cheek as he gave me a cheeky smile.

"I never said that Dobe." "Ah, ya see! there's another nickname!" The two of us chuckled before leaning in and sharing a kiss. This was going to be my life from now on, sharing moments like these with my boyfriend. The one person on this planet who can make me whole, the one person I would entrust my life to. The person who's always been there for me. Naruto. My Naruto. I feel like the two of us together can accomplish anything. No matter what hardships I may face in the future, as long as he's with me, I know I can survive it.

Our lips parted when our bodies demanded air but we still lingered close to each others faces. "I love you.." I whispered to him. Naruto's eyes widened slightly in surprise, I couldn't blame him. I knew this was the first time that I had said it out loud and it was embarrassing but I needed to say it. I needed him to hear it. The surprise slowly faded from his face and was replaced with a happiness I have never seen before. "I love you too Sasuke. Forever and always."
