Well, here he was, on the train to Kyoto. Furihata Kouki was sitting as straight as he could, scared stiff by the delusional scenarios racing around in his head. He kept imaging the worst case scenarios about how Akashi Seijuro would react once he learned that Furihata had dropped his phone in the toilet.

The image of Akashi's eyes hot with rage and his face cold with looking down on Furihata was enough to make him forget the smelly man with stained sweatpants sitting to his left the pervert staring at girl's panties sitting to his right. He just clutched his backpack impossibly right until his knuckles turned white and his circulation was cut off.

In fact, he almost missed his stop and had to remember how to breathe again as he stood up and the train swam. Furihata stumbled off, taking deep breaths and tripped onto the platform.

"Uhm….um…"

Someone was giggling and whispering about him like he couldn't hear, but it didn't really register to Furihata, he felt like he was in a trance, not really thinking or knowing where he was going until he blinked and realized he didn't know where the fuck he was.

"Uh….oh, I'll look on directions on my ph—" Furihata had to stop walking, embarrassed with himself. He sighed, stupidly not realizing just how convenient a phone was until now.

"Ugh dammit! Seriously, what does Seijuro-kun see in me?" Furihata muttered, having a vague thought about how he should have dropped his backpack off at home first but at the time he'd been so wrapped up in panic that it hadn't occurred to him.

"C'mon…time to use that brain that you know you have Furihata…thiiink of something already, if you've never been to Rakuzan High before, how do you get there?" Furihata felt a bit silly pep-talking himself but he did get an idea so the means justify the ends. The street was still full of people and Rakuzan's practice didn't get over until four pm so Furihata could still catch Akashi before he left school, Akashi had told him so. (Though he had said never to come while practice was still in session. Or rather, ever.)

And be damned if he did manage to get to Rakuzan ten minutes before practice let out, even if he had to ask people three different people because he kept forgetting what they said. And dammit! Rakuzan was huuuge. Like, reaaallly huuuge.

"Uh…where's the gym….?"

"Go around the right of the main building and you'll see it. You can't miss it."

Furihata jumped, seeing a Rakuzan student walking past him. He hadn't even noticed him, he was probably leaving from practice to go home. Either way, Furihata murmured his thanks and scrambled around the building and...well…the unknown man had been right. Even through all the other buildings, it was impossible to miss Rakuzan Highs gym. It didn't look like Seirin's gym, nope, their puny little gym was out of its league. Poor Seirin's gym.

His mouth suddenly dry, Furihata felt more and more nervous as he got closer and closer to the gym. By the time he was right outside the door, he thought he was going to either throw up first and then faint, or faint first and then throw up. He wasn't exactly sure what order his body wanted to go it. The latter seemed a bit impossible, but in that moment, he wouldn't put anything past himself.

As he reached for the door, Furihata a crisis of how to enter. What did he say? Open the door and immediately ask for Akashi? Did they know already that he was dating Akashi? Akashi didn't seem like the type to tell his teammates that. So would coming here give them away? Did Akashi even want anyone to know? What with him being richer than God and needing to uphold his reputation. So how did he enter there? Would they even let him talk to Akashi? They'd probably all stare at him and think crazy thoughts and half of them would probably be true.

Oh God, Furihata felt dizzy and the world was spinning. He honestly hadn't thought of what to do once he got here. He wanted Akashi here. He wanted Akashi to tell him how to get to Akashi.

"Hey."

This was a disaster from the start, maybe he should have waited for Akashi at the gate? Catch him on the way out. It wasn't too late, Furihata could still backtrack it to the gate and no one would be none-the-wiser and he could still probably save face in front of Akashi. He wouldn't humiliate himself and most likely Akashi by standing awkwardly in the gym door and—

"I saaaid hey."

"Uh?" Furihata turned around and felt all options go out the window. He stared up at one of Rakuzan's starter members and felt his life end. This was it. He'd been found. There was no way to make this situation better now.

He was staring in the face of Reo Mibuchi, the one most likely to overreact to his presence. God…this wasn't good. He had a feeling that the worst of the scenarios that had been playing around in his head while on the train here was about to happen. That cold face of Mibuchi's left Furihata in a cold sweat.

"What on Earth are you doing here, little Seirin man? Could it be you were spying?"

Yep, not good at all.

A/N - Sorry for the wait, here's the chapter you've been waiting for! Just, ah~ Furihata being over-dramatic. I know, I'm such a tease right?
