Chapter Fourteen:

Stranger

It was as if the room's temperature decreased drastically as Gabriella glared murderously at Deborah who just smiled at her.

"Gabby, aren't you happy to see me?" Deborah asked in a tone that came across as hurt. "After all, I missed you."

"I asked you what you were doing here, nothing else," Gabriella spat back at her, feeling Armin tightened his hold on her.

"I'm here to see Castiel."

"He's busy and you're trespassing on school grounds."

Deborah raised a brow, a questioning look on her face as she pointed to a nearby poster advertising the concert. "I thought it was opened to the public."

Now it was Gabriella's turn to smile. "Yes, but you have to purchase a ticket which we're sold out on. Wouldn't want random strangers coming from off the street into the school now would we?"

"I'm not a stranger though," she pointed out as Gabriella placed a hand on her hip, giving the girl a once over.

"Regardless, you're no longer a student so I will ask you to leave," Gabriella ordered the other girl whose eyes narrowed at the British blogger. "You wouldn't want to cause trouble, right?"

Deborah hesitated for a split second. Of course she wouldn't want to draw negative attention to herself and Gabriella knew that all too well. Instead, she just smiled at her.

"Of course not. I'll see you tomorrow then, Gabby," Deborah waved before turning on her heel and storming out. Her violet eyes never left the brunette's figure until she was out of the main entrance door.

Immediately, Gabriella let out a breath she had been holding whilst Armin gave her a questioning look.

"What was that all about?"

She closed her eyes for a moment, just listening to the distant beat of the music coming from the basement. The rest of the hallway was silent, giving her a chance to get her emotions back in check.

"Someone I want you to avoid."

oOo

The Next Day…

As soon as she stepped out of her brother's car, Violet rushed over to the two sets of twins, an excited look on her face.

"Gabby! You'll never guess who's back!" the usually quiet girl exclaimed as Julian snorted in amusement at Violet's behavior.

"Deborah, right?" Julian asked and she nodded. "Great….time to keep Castiel away."

Violet frowned, still not understanding why the Holmes twins hated Deborah as much as Amber did. She had tried asking Gabriella once but the blogger refused to answer it.

"Violet!" a voice called, drawing a glare from Gabriella, a calm expression on Julian's face. Alexy looked a little uncomfortable, having been informed along with his brother as to why the Holmes twins hated the brunette. Armin, bless him, stood closer to his girlfriend as Deborah ran over to them. Noticing them standing there, Deborah plastered on a smile. "Hey Gabby! How are you today?"

"It's Gabriella to you and I'll be better once you leave," Gabriella replied, putting on her own angelic smile despite her cold words. Deborah narrowed her eyes at her before turning to Julian.

"Julian, you're just as handsome as I remember," she practically purred, causing Alexy to stand in front of Julian, glaring at the girl. "Oh, hello. You must be one of the new students I've heard about. I'm Deborah."

Alexy said nothing and just continued to glare at her.

Violet looked at the blue haired twin in shock, never seeing him act so….so….cold before. She tugged on Deborah's arms. "We should go."

"Okay, I'll see you later," Deborah smirked, walking away with Violet. Said artist girl glanced back at her best friend sadly before leaving their sights. Alexy was disappointed in Violet and opened his mouth to question Gabby, but she just went inside.

For the rest of the day, Gabriella tried to avoid Deborah like the plague. She remembered what happened last time she and Nathaniel stood up against the brunette and didn't want that to happen again.

After all, she only regained Violet's friendship after the drama.

It was during lunch did Rosalya storm into the student council room, a furious look on her face with Alexy not far behind, teary eyed. Nathaniel and Gabriella were the only ones inside and Rosalya slammed the door shut.

"Alexy what wrong?" Gabriella frowned, handing him a tissue as he blew his nose and wiped his tears.

"Deborah's gone and made him look like a bully!" Rosalya fumed to the two of them as Gabriella rubbed the blue haired teen's back lightly. "She's claiming that he attacked her and gone around convincing everyone that she's evil!"

Gabriella gave Alexy a questioning look.

"Julian told me…about what happened before she left here," Alexy sniffed and Nathaniel shook his head, sighing tiredly. "And then she trapped me down in the basement, told me all about how she broke up with Castiel and everything!"

"So you went and told everyone," Gabriella summarized. "And of course, no one believed you."

Nathaniel rubbed the bridge between his eyes, shaking his head. "Just give it up, Alexy. Gabriella and I tried and look where that got us. You'll only have people hating you."

"Actually, I think Melody hated me before Deborah."

The blonde shot her a look and she shrugged her shoulders as Rosalya bit her bottom lip, before snapping her fingers, a smirk on her face.

"There's only one way to beat Deborah at her own game," the teen said slowly, turning to Gabriella. "We need to call a meeting at your house, this afternoon."

"Okay, why?" Gabriella frowned, glancing at Nathaniel who was also puzzled by Rosalya's demand.

"Because school isn't safe to speak about it."

Song: Stranger by Hilary Duff

Now, I'm so sorry it's so short and so late. I did my HSC, I've graduated so I have more time to write and shit. But I was stuck on this chapter and felt this was the only way to end it.

Why didn't I make Gabriella do the Candy thing?

Because Alexy was a new student, Gabriella was not and you can see the obvious hate between the two girls. I'm sorry for throwing Alexy under the bus. Next chapter should be longer~!
