It's Monday 25th, the first full day of Thanksgiving break and this is a perfect start. Olivia thought to herself still running her fingers through an already asleep Fitz's hair. What was supposed to be a "let's get to know each other break" from studying turned into hours of cuddling and playing in Fitz hair.

One arm was comfortably underneath Fitz while Olivia's head was on his chest. She couldn't help but stare up at him and continue to play in his curls, when she stopped he would start to wake and it made her smile. Once she could stop playing in his hair without waking him, she took that as her cue to go home.

"Mmm, where are you going?" Fitz moaned disapprovingly as he felt the cold air next to him on the couch.

"Home, it's late." Olivia responded softly.

"I wasn't sleep I was just thinking really hard on the answer..." Fitz lied; truth is he really didn't want Olivia to leave.

"Bullshit."

"Potty mouth…. Okay, fine I was asleep. I'll walk you up." Fitz added. Olivia knew that was a bad idea and they'd never get sleep.

Olivia sat on her balcony wrapped in a thin blanket with her back to Fitz.

"It's 2 a.m." Olivia yawned.

"Thanks for studying with me even though it's the first day of break Get some rest, I'll see you later..." He assured her gently squeezing her hand, but she didn't move just shifted to lean against the house.

"Wait!" she yawned before he had a chance to get up. "Tell me why brown is your favorite color, I almost forgot to remind you." She sighed closing her eyes.

"Alright." Fitz smiled to himself "It's golden brown fyi." Fitz added looking over at Olivia who was already falling asleep."

"Golden brown is my new favorite color because I never knew it existed and could control me in any significant way until I met this girl… and looked into your eyes, I mean her eyes, for the first time. The day I found the warm golden color and fell for the girl that possessed them was the day I met my soul-mate I think." He smiled looking at Olivia give in to her sleep and droop over.

He picked her up careful not to wake her, and carried her to bed.

"Goodnight, Livvy." He leaned in to kiss her forehead but Olivia grabbed his face gently and softly kissed him, still half asleep.

"I love your eyes too. Ocean Blue." She mumbled breaking away from him and returning to sleep. Fitz smiled licking his lips, letting the taste of her mouth linger on his tongue; he was certain she wouldn't remember any of this in the morning due to the alcohol but he certainly would.

Wednesday 27th

"Mom it's okay, I know you want him back, but it's for the best." Olivia was running out of options, she didn't know what else to do. She slept for maybe an hour and was awakened by her mom crying.

"If I could just have a drink liv!"

"No, I will not allow you to have it! Plus, you have to work in a couple of hours."

"Just a little sip, I just want a taste..." Andrea pleaded.

"No!"

"Fine, you're right, you're right. I don't need it." Andrea slumped back her hands.

"Let's go take a walk…" Olivia suggested. "It might clear your head… make you feel better."

They sat in silence momentarily while Andrea thought about it. She turned towards Olivia but before she could say yes, the tears started welling up again and she fell into Olivia's lap.

"hey. Oh sorry, I didn't mean to intrude; I saw the door was open so I came in…" Fitz trailed off.

"No, it's fine. I'm just being a crybaby. You two go and… have fun… or whatever it is you do."

"No, mom, I'm not leaving. You have 30 minutes until the bus comes so I'll walk you."

"But fitz—"

"No."

"It's not a problem; I can come back later… or walk with you?" Fitz asked.

"Sure. Give us 5 minutes?"

"Okay." Fitz replied, returning to the porch. He never witnessed Olivia in "mother" mode and found it rather odd. I mean she's my age, we're practically adults, but she's not her mother.

"Thank you…"

"No problem. I told you I'd be here to help. I will be here at 10."

"I love you." Andrea confessed.

Olivia replied with a smile. The phrase sounded like a foreign language to her yet it made her eyes watery. As the bus drove off Fitz took her hand and she held on as if her life depended on it. She couldn't understand what she was feeling or why and it frightened her.

"What?"

"I don't know, it's weird." Olivia confessed as they turned to walk away.

"It's new, huh?"

"Yeah, but it's weird…"

"Weird is good. Weird means something new, something's changing."

"Weird is good?"

"Weird is good."

Olivia sighed giving in to the idea of weird being good. Instead of going home, they walked to the river and sat as far away from people as they could get.

"So, what are you feeling, do you care to share?"

"I don't know, it's weird." She chuckled, remembering Fitz telling her weird was good.

"And…"

"And… I like it. I just hope she'll be on the bus tonight."

"Do you want me to come along?"

"Please." She replied needier than she planned. "They're over. She said she'd stop and go back to normal." Olivia looked over at Fitz for validation to continue and confirmation she could confide in him."

"Keep going, I'm here." He answered turning fully toward her assuring her he was all ears.

"I feel like she'll go back to him. I don't know if I can handle that I don't know if I'll…" She stopped not wanting to go there.

"Hurt yourself?" Fitz questioned.

Olivia turned away and began playing with the rocks at her feet. It's strange hearing someone be genuinely concerned, but at the same time his calmness let her know she could run to him if she needed.

"Yeah." She replied after several minutes.

"You won't I have faith in you… I believe you'll come to me first... I'd want you to come to me first. I know I can't stop you or that you'll stop doing it right away, but I'd like to try to help."

Olivia smiled at him, an actual smile. It made her feel loved and cared about. It made her comfortable. She threw the rocks into the river and sat in the gap between his legs. Trying something new. She told herself. Fitz enclosed his arms around her pulling her close and smiling at her opening up to him.

"Can I try something?"

"What?" Olivia looked up at him, but the hood of her jacket really blocked her view, all she could see was his lips and that was fine with her.

"Can you kiss me again?"

"Again?" Olivia chuckled, "I've never kissed you before."

"…I was afraid you would say that. You kissed me the other night we were studying..." Fitz said trying to bring back her memory. "I carried you to you room… I told you about my favorite color."

"Oh my God." Olivia stiffened as she remembered. What was I thinking!

Fitz waited to see if she would reply or run. He didn't want to run her off.

"I can't stop staring at your lips." Fitz confessed.

She turned in his arm and within a second her mouth was on his, it seemed like she couldn't get to him fast enough. His hands were on her waist, pulling her in and in her hair keeping her right where he needed her. His tongue began begging for attention in which she granted him access into her mouth. Fitz hands began travelling to her ass and she jumped stopping the kiss all together but never leaving his hold.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to… we can stop." Fitz loosened his grip on her. She started returning to her position but she kissed him again as she ran her fingers through his curls to let him know it was okay. She didn't know what came over her; she was nervous and embarrassed after she relaxed back down on the pavement. That was so unlike her and anything she'd ever done, she wanted to take things slow.

"It's not funny!" Olivia punched Fitz in the arm joining in on his laughter.

"Okay, it's not funny… you're cute when you're embarrassed... We'll take things slow. We can be friends... with benefits."

"Friends with benefits, but just between us, I want to have something for myself" Olivia confirmed. "…What if I want more?"

"Then we can be more."

"What about you, what do you want?"

"Oh I want more, I'm just holding back for you. I'd claim you. You know if you wanted to be claimed… by me."

"Oh… I want to claim you." Olivia said softly, almost incomprehensible.

Before Olivia could even grasp what was happening, Fitz maneuvered her to where she was straddling his lap and his tongue was searching every crevice of her mouth. His hands once again went to her butt but he stopped.

"Sorry!" he sighed.

"No!" she replied grabbing his hands and placing them back on her butt as she deepened the kiss and pushed him backward. Fitz gripped her butt firmly causing her to moan in his mouth and the sound of her sent a chill down his spine.

Olivia pulled away and sat up. "Just between us Right?"

"Right."

"I've NEVER made that sound." She stated completely shocked and breathless.

"Well I like that sound, I wanna hear it again." He teased grabbing her ass, causing her to squeal.

"Well, well, well, look what we have here; no wonder they won't answer our calls." Abby stated making her and Harrison's presence known.

The two got up and tried to gather themselves together quickly.

"Too late, you've been caught red handed." Harrison teased.

They looked at each other disappointed their secret was out.
