What can I say, I'm happy people enjoy the fic. Like I said before I will add people from Disgaea one and I might introduce other classes from older disgaeas since I love some of the new but still love the old classes.

I have been thinking of doing a high school fic with the cast of disgaea adding different couples with their own side sotrys, I think it might work. I also have a cross over idea for baka and test and Disgaea 4. Since Fuka did say she was a high school. Anyway lets see what I will do and will super star idol asagi make her debut in my fic? Chapter 4 an overlords thoughts

"Maderas…." Was all Laharl said as he remembered the name of his vassal's vassal and the trouble he had caused him trying to become overlord. So he's still alive huh? But why do they want him dead? They said he is getting support but why?"

He was brought out of his thoughts as he looked behind him and saw Barbara leaning in to listen as well but he just paled as he just saw her chest near his face. He blacked out falling straight through the door interrupting the meeting.

Grosso looked over to see who had entered but saw the prince out cold on the floor with Barbra standing over him looking at him. He just sighed as he ordered a Prinny to dump a bucket of water over him causing him to wake up. In anger.

"What the hell is it with people wakening me with force?!"

"I see you're awake prince now we can down to our meeting."

"Huh?"

"I know you were listening in to us but it does not matter since we were going to inform you anyway about what going on."

Lahral helped himself up walking over to Grosso who just continued.

"No doubt you are familiar with Maderas prince?"

"Of course I know him he was the vassal of my back stabbing old vassal why?" he asked in anger.

"We have gathered information that he is getting followers that want him to be overlord."

"What?!"

"We are not certain how, but with the information we have gotten we can confirmed that he has acquired an item that will make him the overlord."

"Does such a thing even exist?" Lahral asked him expecting him to say no but.

"Indeed it does. It's known as the demon tome."

His eyes widen hearing the news of Maderas having the demon tome. He had been looking for the book when he became overlord to ensure others would know he was the one and only overlord.

"How the hell did he find the demon tome?!" He said in rage as he slammed his hands on the table causing his aura to leave his body.

Grosso saw the power he had and only smiled seeing that he indeed had the late king's power and just needed a way to control it in order to become a better overlord.

Rainer just looked at the prince and was shocked the prince had so much power but wondered why he lost to angel.

"Is this really the young brat I took care of?" He has the same personality but his power has grown.

"Calm down prince, he may have the demon tome but he will not be seen as overlord just yet."

"What do you mean not yet you old fossil?"

"It's true that just having the demon tome will let other demons see you as overlord but."

"But?"

"He needs to prove it by fighting the current overlord."

Lahral just looked at Grosso wondering if he was lying but saw no emotion. Behind his eyes.

"So he is going to fight that angel? I doubt that old vassal of mine would let her vassal just cause an uprising."

"Prince you are far behind in times since you have been living alone for a while."

"What do you mean?"

"During your time away the angels vassal Etna decided to she didn't need Maderas and sent him away. But in doing so it left him alone to plan since he once wanted the throne and now that he is not her vassal he has reason to go after it."

"Does he really think that with an army he can take down the overlords castle?"

"Actually no prince."

He looked over to Rainer who was looking at him with strange eyes but let her continue.

"He actually has a plan to take down the new overlord and his old master Etna."

"Really? And what's that?"

"He wants to use you prince."

"Huh?"

"Our contact let us know that he was looking for you since the new overlord cays you're her big brother. So he intended to capture you and use you to get her to step down."

Lahral just smiled as he started to laugh making them all look at him wondering what was so funny.

"Hahahahahah, so that explains it. Why my life for past few years has been nothing but fighting random demons to stay alive."

"What are you talking about prince?"

He just turned and showed them his back showing them his scar.

"Over the last few years demons started attacking me saying I was needed for someone's plan to become overlord. I just told them to leave or I would kill them. They laughed saying a weakling that couldn't beat a small angel has no chance of winning. But I showed them by beating them near death I even spared them telling them to be glad I let them live."

They all just listened in hearing a bit about his past.

"But I turned my back on them to take their things thinking they would run away like the cowards they are, but a smart ass actually attacked me, shows what I get for showing some mercy to them. A demon like myself should have just killed them. I don't know why I even thought of letting them go."

"Then did you?!"

"No even after that stab in the back…I let him live."

Grosso and his group looked at Laharl never seeing him once let a demon live for attacking him. they were all thinking he had some redeeming factors in him but they threw that out the window when he spoke again.

"So I took his and even sold back to him for a good price. Not like he had much choice in not paying for it."

"You sold it back to him prince?"

"I had to survive, and I did what I had to make a living even if meant always on the run since lots of demons wanted me dead. But now that I know he had a hand in making my life even worst I should really pay him a visit." He said as he pulled out his sword in front his face and let out a smirk as the runes glowed.

They saw the runs glow red but Gross adjusted his glasses and had a thought.

"I wonder if he knows what else he can do with that sword? Might be best to tell him later once we teach him a bit. But for now we must put him to the test."

He broke his thoughts and just called for everyone's attention.

"Prince it looks like we will have to wait before we can help you be like your father."

At the mention of his father he just wanted to spit at it but knew it was best not to in front of his old man's vassals. He could probably take on Grosso but the big guy, but Rainer would portably beat him if he wasn't carful.

"What do you mean will have to wait? I thought we had a deal?!"

"We do, but with what's happening with Maderas we have no choice but to take care of him first before we can get to your teaching."

"Dam him! Once again he gets in my way of becoming overlord again! I wont allow that. Let me deal with him, I will show him what happens when he messes with me!"

"You really are still baby will you Calm down already we, are planning on sending you since we need him taken care off but we also need you to try and get the demon tome as well."

"I'm not child I could beat anyone of you guys in here when I'm at full power!"

"Be silence prince but she's right with it we can secure the path of overlord and make sure no one else will claim the title of overlord as you are taught."

"So you're going to send me after him?"

"We have no choice since you're the one he wants. You will have to go alone and take him out, with your power you should be able take him out."

Laharl looked at the ground at the mention of him using his power. He traced the sword as the runes glowed. He sighed and just nodded.

"Right! When do I leave?"

"Go too our gate keeper in an hour and ready for the trip. Do not let us down prince, if you fail then we will have no reason to teach you."

"You don't have to tell me that, I know it already just make sure you keep your end of the deal." Laharl walked out of the room as Barbara was about to follow but stopped when Rainier spoke.

"Something is up with the baby. He seems to be hiding something?"

"Indeed he is Rainier but I might have an idea what it is. But for now it does not if it becomes a problem we can kill him seeing as he is a disgrace to his father name."

"Indeed he is, the Majin in right agrees as well! A no good brat like him is a true disgrace to his father."

Barbara just listened in as they all called Laharl useless and a disgrace to his father's blood. She wanted to say something but thought it was best not to as she was not ordered to.

"If you all excuse me I will take my leave!"

She was heading for the door but,

"Barbara."

"Yes, Grosso?"

"I want you to go with Laharl and make sure he completes his mission. If he looks like he will fail then you will complete the mission and even take care of him if it looks like he will betray us, understood?"

Grosso turned back to the others and saw a strange look on Rainiers face but before he could ask.

"Is killing him really going to be necessary?"

They all looked at her with wide eyes never expecting her to question her orders. But why was she speaking up now?

"She is right spoke Rainier."

"Even if he fails there is really no reason to kill him. The king would be really displeased if we killed his only son. Even if he isn't worthy of the title isn't it our job as the late kings advisers to help his son? I mean after the king died we all sort of left the castle not even checking on him."

Grosso began to think listening to Rainier's words and was wondering why she wanted to spare the princess she was always saying how she hated him and wanted him dead for being alive.

"Why are you caring if he lives or die? If we take care of him now we can just use Barbara to be overlord after we take care of the angle and the prince old friends."

"Because I may hate him but the king did order to be his baby sitter."

"But he is no longer a baby?"

"Be that as it may, I have my orders and so do you."

Grosso rubbed his eyes before he looked at Rainier thinking she just wanted him alive but threw the idea away seeing as she was right in away. He would be more useful alive since if the vampire couldn't do it then they would use the princes to make the angle give up.

"Very well. We will not get rid of him, for now, but he better watch himself. Barbara you can leave now, I need to check something."

She did as she was told as the other two left as well. Barbara left the room followed by Rainier. They walked down hall passing a few doors. But both stopped when they heard Lahral.

"Leave me alone you dam prinnies!"

Rainier and Barbara saw him being followed by a group of prinnys all holding note pads.

"Please give us an autograph, Dood!" Yelled one of them as another pushed him out of the way.

"Lord Lahral give me one! Dood!"

"Why the hell do you want my autograph? Not that I won't say no but just stop bothering me or bring me something to eat!"

A few prinnys ran away as he stared to sign their notepads with a wicked grin that he was being paid attention to.

"Why not dood!? You are one of our heroes always standing up for prinnies dood!"

Laharl continued to sign as he recalled the few he had gotten into fights with other demons trying to kill him. He beat them but he didn't know he had saved a few prinnys in the process. Sometimes he just save them knowing they would give him a few things and it worked. At times they would steal from their owners and gave the items, to him.

Barbara and rainier just got a sweat drop seeing what was happening in front of them.

"The prince act way different around people that are a bit like him. "Rainier said as Barbara spoke.

"Indeed, but you have to remember he was alone for 200 years who knows what he went through and what he did to stay alive, we might not even know what demon was the one that managed to get a hit on him."

They both saw the prince just sign the last note pad of an orange prinny running away in joy. A certain blue prinny was walking away and left without a word thinking he had to do its job and not mess up

Laharl just puffed his chest as he laughed

"Hahahahaha, people still see how I'm great! Even it's the low lives of the netherworld I will reclaim my throne!"

Both women just got a sweat again as they saw him walk towards his room closing his door with force.

"Well, he still seems to have a bit of his ego left." Rainier said as Barbara just nodded. Even with it he might grow to be find man but he will still be baby.

Rainier just floated away as Barbara headed to her own room to get ready for the trip.

Laharl sat on the edge of his bed looking at his hand trying to summon a bit of his power but nothing happened.

"I guess I'm really losing my touch, or is it because I lost my title…?"

He sighed as he laid on his bed removing his glove on his right hand. He Looked at the celling and smiled as he looked at his hand and saw the birth symbol of those born from royal blood of the overlord. He smile faded as he saw his birth symbol continue to fade.

"Guess it will not be long before I lose all my power, why is this happening to me. First all of my family members die then I get dethrone by some weak angel and lose my overlord title. I get hated by all demons for losing being blamed for letting a weak angel become overlord. They turn around and start to follow her saying she is better than me… guess the so called gods must really hate me?"

He pulled out his new sword and saw the runes glow each a different color. The runes turned gray as only the first rune stayed lit showing the color red. He felt his grip give as he sat up coughing blood. After a bit he spat the remaining blood from his mouth cleaning it with his scarf.

"Cough, I can't get carried away using this dam thing." He said as he put his sword away and removed his scarf leaving him in only his pants shoes and cuffing's He walked over the mirror and looked at himself sighing at what he saw.

He was a shell of his former sure he acted high and mighty but what would that get him a few slaves here and there but he couldn't trust anyone knowing he was wanted. His body was no longer the same as he looked at his well-toned chest he had gotten a six pack and had grown a bit stronger but in the end he was nothing alone. He had no friends, yes he admitted he missed them but he decided to refuse the thought since they left him to die alone in the nether world fighting hordes of demons.

"Maybe they wanted me dead after all Etna is always saying I will never be like my old man saying I should be more like him and disgrace his blood. Even that dam love freak agreed with her saying my old man sounded great and I should stop being so childish."

"He punched the mirror shattering it into a million pieces causing blood to come from him as the glass shreds hit his body and his fist.

"No one understands me…. Always saying to be like my old man.. Always being in his dam shadow no one seeing me as me…I guess I have to become like him in order to rule…"

He looked at the broken glass seeing his face disfigured.

"I guess I don't even know who I am anymore since I am going to throw away who I am to be my old man."

He shook his head and threw though thoughts aside.

"No! I'm Laharl the overlord! I will rule my own way! I will not be like my old man!"

He lowered his fist and moved his left hand towards the center of his chest and traced the small jewel in it. "That kratos guy said this thing would help I did get stronger when I put it on but the demons of the nether world have also gotten stronger."

He decided it was best to take a shower before he left who know when he would be back and if he would even return. Yes he thought to himself he was even starting to doubt his own power for a while but he never let anyone know. He removed his clothing and got in the shower turning on the water. He let the cold water hit his skin. His antennas stood up revealing his hair that made his way a bit to his back. He had grown his hair a bit managed to hide it with his scarf and antennas, he rarely let his hair out since he would get weird looks from different female demons and he felt sick with the way they looked at him.. but that was only when the big breasted women looked at him. he traced the scare on his back and winced a bit from the pain.

"Still hurts, what the hell did his blade have?"

He shrugged as he cleaned his body and the blood away. When he finished his shower he dried himself off with a towel that had just appeared on his bed out of nowhere. He just thought it was the doing of a prinny. He heard a knock on the door and sighed as he went to answer it he opened the door with force seeing rainier standing there with her eyes wide open. Laharl on the other hand paled a bit seeing her there.

"What do you want?"

She just stood there eyes him as he realized that he had his hair out.

"Dammit." He walked to his scarf and put it on covering the jewel and recalling his hair as it grew smaller and his antennas went back down hiding it.

"Well, looks like the baby has some things to hide." Rainier said as Laharl turned to see her.

"What the hell do you want?!"

She walked in or floated in his room as she spoke.

"I was sent to get you time is up and you will be leaving in a few."

"Where am I going he said trying to make sure his towel didn't drop which he was fining very hard to since she was in his room.

"You're going to the vampire's home in the snowy mountains."

"Well if it isn't my lucky day I shower and I'm being sent to an area full of ice. Yea, the gods must really hate me."

"Maybe they know you're a spoiled brat and want to punish you?"

He sighed ignore her words being yelling at her to leave so he could change. He slammed the door and changed in his clothes minus the shirt. He checked his cuffing's and left to the portal. He passed rainier who gave a strange look but he ignored her walking down the hall growing annoyed that she was walking or floating near him. He didn't know what made him say what he said next but he just said it.

"You're wasting your time on me."

"Huh?"

"I'm not as powerful as I once was." Was all he said as he walked forward leaving her in aw.

"If what he says it's true than we don't need him. Should I tell Grosso, if I do we won't have to take care of him anymore."

Laharl had arrived at Grosso gate keeper and saw Barbara waiting for him holding a bag over her shoulder. He walked over to her and saw her look at him before she nodded and threw a new bag at him hitting him in the face.

"Ow! What the hell was that for?"

"I'm sorry, but these are the supplies we will be needing on our trip."

"Trip?"

"She is right prince."

Laharl turned to see Grosso walking towards him from the hall.

"Since you look confuse let me explain, Maderas has set up a barrier preventing anyone from entering. So the gate keeper will be send you a bit off from his place, then you will continue from foot and sneak in or destroy the place it's your choice."

"Really we get to pick?"

"All we want is for him to be killed. We do not care how it's done, so you understand prince?"

"I do you old fossil."

"Let me make one thing clear for you prince. If you should fail in killing him than do not bother coming back since you will not be welcomed."

They expected Laharl to protest but they only heard him sigh.

"I know, doesn't matter to me if I don't come back at all since I will just go back to living on the road again. Beside I'm bound to meet my end soon with the demons getting more powerful."

They all looked stunned at what he had said before he sighed grabbing his back and walking towards the gatekeeper. The gate keeper opened the portal letting him walk disappearing from sight.

They all stayed silent as Grosso finally spoke.

"Barbara make sure he complete his mission, and if he tries anything to betray us."

"Yes I understand!"

She nodded walking through the portal following Laharl leaving Grosso alone with Rainier.

"Do you think they will be alright?

"Who knows Rainier but I hope Barbara will be alright she is still needed for our plans."

"What about the prince?" she asked with a bit of concern in her voice trying to hide it.

Grosso didn't say anything and just walked away from the portal leaving Rainier alone.

"Prince be safe."

Laharl and Barbara found themselves on top of a mountain with the cold air blowing.

"So he is hiding in the snow lands?"

He saw her nod as he just sighed before speaking.

"Let's go we have someone to kill."

Overlord's castle

A Prinny was running in the halls with urgent news for his overlord. He ran past a few of his brothers who were carrying a three layer cake making them drop it. The lone prinny made it to etnas room and knocked.

"Master Etna I have urgent News you need to hear! Dood!"

He knocked again but got no answer. He knocked a third time and was met with an angry Etna.

"What the hell do you want!?"

The prinny just spoke up.

"I have gotten information on what you asked me. Dood."

"Good then we need to go tell Flonne and the overlord."

Etna and just walked to the overlords throne room with the prinny by her side. As she arrived she opened the door and found both girls watching some sort anime.

"Etna? Is something wrong? Asked Sicily."

"I got a certain prinny and he has some information for us"

Their eyes widen as the prinny bowed at them.

"You have information on big brother?!"

"Yes dood! But you may not like what I have to say, since it involves you Master Etna Dood."

"Huh me? What did I ever do to the prince?"

The moment she said that the door opened and walked in a few prinnes holding a roll of papers.

"Number one! Poisoned the prince! Dood. Number two, tried to shoot the prince when he was asleep Dood."

Sicily looked over to Etna who looked away from her with on foot behind her other foot and her arm behind her head. Flonne and Sicily saw she was sweating a bit.

"Etna…."

"Yes overlord?"

"We need to talk later ok?"

"Got it…" she said looking at the Prinnys with anger. Who just stood still not moving from fear.

"I cant believe you have a list that long? Why do you prinnes have one?" Flonne asked them as they saluted.

"Over lord Sicily asked us to gather information on her brother Dood. So we wrote everything that has happen to him and we mean everything!"

Flonne's eyes widen at thought and she began to sweat a bit.

"Flonne it looks like we need to talk as well."

"What why?!"

She turned to the angel and saw she was reading a paper that said Flonne's misdeeds to the prince dood.

"Dam you prinnes!?" She yelled with anger as she and Etna glared at them making them run yelling dood!"

The sole prinny remained as he was standing in place.

"May I speak now dood?"

"Oh right what do you know about of big brother?!" Sicily asked worried about her brother

"The young prince has been given a mission and has been sent to kill a certain demon dood."

"Laharl would never kill anyone he is to kind for that." Flonne told the prinny as he continued.

"He was sent out this morning with a grown women with green hair and the time of their return is unknown. But the prince seems to be in a kind of problem I do not know what it is but he is really worried dood."

Sicily looked at Etna and Flonne who each looked worried for Laharl. But the room went silent when Sicily asked.

"Who has my brother gone to kill?"

"An old vassal of this castle that use to belong to master Etna Dood. Rumor also says he has the demon tome dood."

Etna eyes widen at what the prinny said before he bowed and left. Leaving Flonne and the overlord to look at Etna.

"Etna?" They both said as they saw her bite her nails.

"No, no, how did he get the demon tome."

"Etna do you know who Laharl went to kill and what's the demon tome?

Etna didn't speak instead she only said one word.

"Maderas."

Flonne gasped at the name making the overlord wonder who he was.

Unknown location

A young red haired man was walking through the snow letting out a cold breath and spoke.

"Maderas, I will make you pay for what you did to her…. Please forgive me for what I must do sister."

Well done with the chapter I hope it came out well as for Lahral yes he is losing his power. But why is that? Was it cause of the attack on his back? Or did losing to is sister cause it? Will next chapter hold answer? Yes the demon tome is the one mentioned from the disgaea anime or in Etna mode from disgaea afternoon of darkness from the psp which is my fav disgaea.. as for Rainier stepping up in Laharls defense why would she? Is she reall only doing it for the late king?

I bet some are wondering why Laharl has the jewel? Well it will be explained in a later chapter when I show how Laharl helped Kratos. No its not the god of war one. What will Maderas have planned for Laharl and Barbara? As for the red haired man people who have played disgaea d2 will know who he is unless you haven't beaten it. Laharls sword has power but it has draw backs for a reason. Till later and this me asking but what everyone's fav disgaea and character so far and anyone going to get disgaea 4 vita?
