I didn't realize this chapter was so Nico and Solangelo-centric until I was done typing it sooooo….
But I really ship them so it's okay XD.
Oh and sorry for not updating for 3 MONTHS! All through August I was being an idiot and putting it off, and then school started and a million things happened. Also, I had only planned so far ahead in this story, and I had reached the end of where I planned and needed a bit to mull over where I was going with this. BUT now I know!

So Chapter 16!:
NICO:
Nico woke up to the sound of a phone beeping.
He was curled up on his side like a child, still wearing the clothes he had worn yesterday. His old phone lay on the pillow next to him, merely inches from his face. It was making the sound noise of a disconnected call, a long shrill beep. He hastily jabbed at the "End Call" button, but not before glimpsing the time (6:05) caller ID picture.
It was of him and Will, taken exactly a month after the war with Gaea (Nico remembered that night: it was the one Leo had come back.) Nico and Will were standing on the coast of Long Island Sound at Camp Half-Blood, barefoot, with an inky pink and orange sun setting over the sparkling water. They had their arms around each other, and Will was staring down at Nico, his eyes gleaming. Nico himself was laughing (hard) at something Will had said.
Nico counted only a second of time before pressing the "Call-Back" button, catapulting out of bed, then swinging open the door tentatively, so not to wake anyone.
Then he leaned against the doorframe, gazing down the narrow hallway into the empty living room as he waited for his head to stop spinning at the sound of Will's voice.
IZZY:
Izzy woke up with her head in the crook of Simon's neck. She breathed deeply and smiled against his warm skin.
"Good Morning." he whispered.
Isabel glanced at the small alarm clock on the bed-side table, her eyes widening. 11:05. More like early afternoon.
"Crap." she said. "Crap, crap, crap, crap, crap."
"What?" Simon rolled over to face her, alarmed. His eyes were the color of melting chocolate and filled with concern, his pale pink lips slightly parted.
Izzy couldn't help but kiss him, and she let herself melt into him for a good minute. Then she broke apart, giddy and giggling.
"Alec's gonna kill you!" she sung, then added, "its 11:07."
Simon shot out of bed, sending blankets, swearing and laughing into the air. He flew out the door, tripping and stumbling.
Izzy was only a few paces behind him, but when she entered the room, Jace was laughing and Simon was sprawled on the floor, glaring at nothing in particular.
The semi-circle of arm chairs and couches was replaced with a long, elegant, mahogany table, and everyone was already up and sitting there. Simon lay a little bit in front of the doorway.
Jason, Piper, Hazel, Frank, Leo, Calypso, Clary, Jace, Percy, Annabeth, and Reyna were talking and (now) joining Jace in his laughter. Nico was also sitting at the table, but he was only half-aware of his surroundings: he was holding a phone to his ear. He was grinning. There was a note saying that Tessa and Jem had left this morning, and Magnus and Alec were not here. Izzy let out a sigh of relief.
"Apparently, Magnus and Alec went to get Dunkin' Donuts." Simon said, still occupying his spot on the ground. She raised her eyebrows at him. He hastily got up and added, "I fell." shooting Jace, who was stifling more laughter, an annoyed glance.
It was silent (except for Nico and his phone call) as Isabel and Simon pulled up chairs to the table. Then Percy pointedly glanced toward Nico, mouthed something that looked like Will and pretended to make out with himself. This set off another chorus of laughter, and Izzy laughed this time, too. Percy was funny.
Nico's smile did not fall, but his eyes seemed to be showing Percy all the ways Nico would commence in killing tonight.
The Shadowhunter all gave Nico questioning looks.
"My boyfriend." Nico said quickly, answering their looks. Then, to his phone:
"What?" pause. "No." pause. "I'm just with a bunch of crazy people (he glanced at Percy) and-"
"Donuts!" Magnus and Alex burst through the door, their hands full with multiple Dunkin' Donuts labeled bags, drinks, and containers.
Laughter came from Nico's phone, and Nico added, "Yea. Those, too."
