AN: Hi everyone! So, kinda ticked off that this is the second time I have to upload this chapter. The first upload completely glitched! The chapters for the other works will be posted when I get the chance. Thank you for your patience and I hope you enjoy.
Now I am going to address three things in the AN before the disclaimer. One the quarantine, and two the "Mary Sue" comment left on Purple Paladin. The third thing is my Wattpad that I have been messaged about since I mentioned it.

First, I want to say a big thank you to everyone for doing their part to flatten the curve. Social distancing, the quarantine, washing our hands, just staying home. It is all very important I you are amazing for doing your part. I have an autoimmune disorder so I am truly grateful to everyone who is doing what they can. So again, thank you.

For the second thing I'm addressing. "Mary Sue" has never been intended as well meaning, and it is extremely sexist. Why is Molly a "Mary Sue?" I didn't write her to be better than the other characters, I didnt write her to have impossible or ridiculous advantages. Oh wait! its because she has big breasts (like I do) and isn't a flat chested tomboy. She's girly, shy at first and comes out of her shell. She grows as a character. If she were a male character with a big package in his pants and huge biceps that comment would NEVER have been made. I'm not offended you made the comment towards me or my work that's not the point. The point is its only geared towards strong female characters or female characters with mature features. I have a very curvy, big chested body. I write characters like that because nowadays the flat chested, tiny breast girl has all the power. I dont even have a flattering bra that fits right unless I spend an arm and a leg! I am a strong female because I'm a disabled woman who is a horse trainer. I do barrel racing, mounted archery, cutting, and jumping, and other dangerous equine sports. I'm also in the kink community because it's the only place where I've ever had true control and I have ever felt truly accepted in my life. I'm a real life Mary Sue if you think about it. When you make comments like that, a young girl or woman is going to see that and be scared off from ever aspiring to be in a male dominated field (Ie the equestrian field, or maybe martial arts or even SCIENCE). You'll stop young female writers from creating a character that is strong or overcomes struggles that they feel proud of or want to aspire to be like. That is a shameful thing for anyone to do. I will not let anyone in my group scare off any readers or other writers. I wont let you tear down others. Dont go saying "you didnt mean anything by it" or "It wasnt meant to be negative." There's no such thing as a well meaning comment calling an origianl character someone pours their emotions and time into a "Mary Sue." You can say whatever you want to me but don't you dare go after any of the other female writers or readers. I'm actually gonna pull the dying chick card here. I'm dying from my chronic illnesses slowly destroying my body. I no longer care what people say to me or about me. But my legacy is going to be to make sure those in all of my circles learn to treat each other decently and learn to not say damaging things that can crush anyone's dreams no matter how small it may be. I had people regularly try to destroy my chances at my career and at getting a decent education through words and actions. You all owe me the very simple thing of not being dicks to each other, being open minded and accepting of each other, and to bring each other up not tear each other down. I would like you all to agree to try to do that for each other.

Finally to all my 18 plus readers my Wattpad is thefang95. Only 18 plus readers are permitted. No minors/underage readers as it is the kink communities page not yours. They deserve the respect of you not looking at things not meant for you and not getting me in trouble because your parents didnt tell you reading adult content underage can get the author in trouble and ruin our lives. I dont deserve the loss of my circle (I dont make any money on any of this. It's all social groups and communities for me). Don't be the child everyone WANTS the pigeon to poop on. Be the kid we want the pigeon to dodge and stick to my fanfiction page only. Thanks. Now on to the disclaimer/

"Chapter 10: Treasure Awaits!
The continued journey through Moldor was humid, and exhausting. Eduardo's freshly combed and gelled hair was becoming super curly. Being the playful fox she was, Amelia climbed on to his shoulder and started to play with the curls. She started to secretly braid a particularly long section without the others seeing. Eduardo suddenly feels a tug on his head and looks at her. "Runt what are you doing?" She freezes in her movements and snickers. "Nothing. Just fixing your hair." She giggles as she sticks a flower in it. He looks at her with one eyebrow raised as she jumps off his shoulder and starts skipping next to Thomas, who holds her hand as he looks at the scenery.

The trees started to dance as a breeze blew through the area. The sweet relief from the hot air was relished among the crew. Except for Russell, who had a giant dust cloud roll past him, making him have a sneezing-fit. The others laughed at his expense as they walked ahead of the others. He glares at Christopher who gives him a tissue while trying to hold back his laughter. "Thanks for the sympathy Doc. I could be getting pneumonia!" Christopher shakes his head and smiles. "It's just irritation from the dust. No need to be a child." Russell scoffs and shuts up. He walks ahead of everyone else, with his chest huffed out in offense (Well fake offense. He thought it was pretty funny too).

They pass by a few towns people, all glaring at Amelia. She clings onto Thomas in fear of the people, who look at her as though she were cursed. She was simply born different from them. She didn't understand why being different is a bad thing. The crew put her between all of them protectively. Suddenly, an elderly woman and what appears to be a preacher approach the group with warm, gentle smiles. The preacher stands in front of Captain. "Hello friends. Welcome to our village. Please ignore the others. You are welcome here." Captain smiles at the man as they shake hands. "Thank you Father. I am Captain Morgan. This is my crew." Everyone gives either a small wave or nod of their head in greeting. The old woman crouches down to Amelia, handing her a small purple candy. "This is made from the honey and lavender we cultivate here." Amelia pops the strange smelling purple orb in her mouth, her tail starts to wag as her tongue is flooded with the sweet and fragrant flavor. The woman hands a piece to Thomas as well who smiles with a slight blush on his cheeks "Thank you ma'am." "The name is Addie dear. Don't call me ma'am. I'm not THAT old." They both chuckle.

The many onlookers continue to glare and whisper among themselves as they watch the group. "Follow us if you'd please." The preacher leads everyone to his small church. The stained glass no longer vibrant, the outside full of peeling paint chips, and the doors crooked on their hinges. The building falling apart from age and minimal upkeep. The many guest quarters on the property; however, show that they are being taken care of. The preacher leads them to one of the many guest quarters, a small hut just to the side of a greenhouse. While inside the quarters, they all take seats by a fireplace on the small copper couch or at the handmade cedar dining table and chairs. The preacher lights a fire and begins passing out mugs of rum along with plates of cheese and bread to the crew. "My name is Father Carlito. You are welcome to stay here while you are visiting. The villagers don't come here anymore now that Father Torkel opened his church. " "Thank you Sir. If there is anything my men and I can do to repay your hospitality, let us know." Morgan finishes the drink in a single gulp as the rest of the crew actually does the proper thing by enjoying the drink.

"Who is Father Torkel Sir?" Christopher asks. Carlito lets out a deep sigh as he sits on the hearth of the fireplace and takes a swig of his drink. "Father Torkel is the leader of the village. He arrived here a couple years ago, around the time harvest was especially scarce and famine crawled through the land. From the mountains with men in robes behind him, is this man who states he could FIX our village and save everyone. He spread many new beliefs, such as all must follow his word and non-believers were to be exiled. The villagers follow and comply for they believe he brought the end to their pain. All demons, witches, those who do not fit in, who violate Torkel's rules, and non-believer shall be persecuted." Christopher swallows hard and takes a long swig of his rum to calm his nerves.

"Russell is on the couch grinding his teeth as he listens to Carlito. Thankful they are only passing through the village and not staying. "This Torkel guy sounds like a real whack job." Everyone but Eduardo nods their heads. Eduardo just scoffs at Russell. "He's a genius. Play on people's weaknesses and fears, manipulate their fears and be in charge. It's dictator 101." Eduardo feels disgusted but impressed. He just wants to off this guy. They all continue chatting with Carlito and finish their drinks and food.

Addie sits next to Amelia and begins to comb her hair. "Don't you mind those villagers. Folks tend to only fear what they cannot understand. Stay strong and stick with your family." Amelia smiles at Addie and gives her a hug. "Thank you Addie. I will." Captain calls for the crew to start heading out. Amelia gets up and follows them out of the quarters while waving at the preacher and Addie. The crew decided to repay Carlito and Addie for their kindness by sharing a portion of the treasure with the church. They thanked the couple, agreed to return to spend the night before they set sail again, and then continued on their journey.

As they followed Eduardo and Captain (who were beginning to bicker over the directions of the map they were attempting to chart), Amelia held on to Captain's coat and just let him guide her through the village as she mindlessly looked around at the scenery. Nathan, Christopher and Thomas went together to speak to villagers, as Thomas was the least intimidating person of the crew and Christopher was the most patient, Nathan was a balance by being the most straight forward. Russell was behind Amelia, on edge with the villagers who were casting glances at their small group. Some were whispering prayers into their prayer beads, while others were just glanced up and glared before going about their way. A blacksmith spit at the dirt as they walked by, narrowly missing Russell's boot, and in turn Amelia's tiny foot. Russell glared at the greasy bearded man as the group kept walking. They stopped by a clock tower, the bell chiming loudly through the entire village. Being directly underneath it made his bones feel like they were vibrating. It was mild compared to canon fire but still not a noise he ever wanted to hear ever again. He looked down to see Amelia covering her furry ears and wincing. He picks her up and rubs her back soothingly. She nuzzles into his collarbone and relaxes. They see Morgan and Eduardo start walking off and they lose them in the bustling crowd. Russell tries walking in the direction he saw them go in, but finds no sign of them."

Suddenly a procession with six large, liver chestnut draft horses pulling a carriage and behemoth men in red and black cloaks walk through the village. Their boots stomping on cobblestone and through mud. Hooves thundering behind the men while the stallions snort and let out puffs of air. The procession stops in the center of the village in front of what appears to be a stage. One of the cloaked men walks up to the carriage and opens the door. Out of the carriage steps a man with braided black and silver hair, harsh blue/grey. He's wearing a white cloak, grey pants, a grey tunic shirt, black boots, and gold belt. His cloak embroidered with gold thread and pearls. The man walks up to the stage and stands in the center at a podium. "Welcome my children. It is a sad day when we must condemn one of our own. Brother Edward and Sister Eva were caught assisting evil ones in escaping." A man and woman are walked up onto the stage, both with their hands cuffed behind their backs and chains around their ankles. The villagers surrounding the stage start booing, crying hysterically or screaming "Traitors!" "Burn!" The man, who Russell now knows is Father Torkel raises his hands to silence the crowd. "They will face judgement through exile in the pits soon enough. But first, the evil ones WERE caught. They will face persecution before you today." The crowd cheers and shouts words of gratitude toward Torkel. Russell's eyes wide in shock as he sees an individual he never pictured seeing again. Gabrielle, one of the female kitsunes from Snowy Island. One of her ears appeared to have been sliced off, her blue dress was gone and replaced with a white frock, her feet bare. Her hair once long and flowing now messily cut to just below her chin. Her skin covered in dirt and blood. Her eyes dull from exhaustion. She is lead onto the stage with shackles and a collar attached to a chain, being pulled by one of the men in a red cloak. Behind her is a man the size of a bear, with sunken eyes and a back riddled with lash marks. Finally two other individuals, one an old woman with unkempt hair and ratty clothes, the other a man is what appears to be a neko, but a jaguar neko. His tail sways as he walks, his ears flicker from the wind. He only has his ripped shorts on and a bandana. All four individuals are chained together by their ankles. All show signs of exhaustion from hard labor and a failed escape. One of the men in a black cloak walks onto the stage and begins unchaining their ankles, then walking each individual backwards either to a poll or to a rope hanging on the rafter above. "A kitsune, a neko, a witch, and a berserker. We say goodbye to you evil ones, and we say hello to the light brought on by banishing you from our lands." With that the two individuals at the poles at torches placed at their feet. The two at the ropes were set atop a trap door. Russell quickly turned himself and Amelia away as the lever was pulled. He swiftly made his way out of the crowd to avoid any more of the scene. He wasn't interested in anything further. Amelia grips Russell's shirt as he hides her face in his shoulder. She wasn't able to see anything that transpired.

"They finally find one of the other crew members, Thomas and start looking for the others. Apparently, he got separated from Nathan and Christopher who were investigating the village further. As far as Russell is concerned, they don't need to know anything more about the village. They just need to get the treasure and get out. They finally spot Christopher who is assisting an old woman. He's wrapping a bandage on her frail hand as they speak. "Chris where are the others?" Christopher turns to see Thomas and Russell jog up to him. "Nathan is looking for all of you. I've been helping people along our way. As for Captain and Eduardo I thought you were with them?" "We were we got separated." Russell sets Amelia down on the ground and holds her hand. They all begin heading towards the outskirts of the village to find the rest of the crew. Sure enough Captain and Eduardo are there. But no sign of Nathan. "Captain glad to see you two! Have you seen Nate?" Captain smiles "He's up ahead. He caught up with us a while ago. He said he'd meet us just outside the village." They all follow the Captain and see Nathan just up ahead a few paces. Amelia runs to him and hugs him tightly. "Daddy! I was worried." Nathan bends down and hugs her back. "Hey fluffy. Everything's ok. Let's go find that treasure ey?" Amelia smiles and nods her head. Her tail wagging as she happily holds Nathan's hand. They walk with everyone else through the outskirts of the village past a graveyard and into a forest with not a single animal. All trees are dead too./p
p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"Morgan gets to the front of the group, map in hand walks off in a random direction. They all follow him, tring to avoid tripping over roots or rocks along the way. After quite a bit of walking, they come across a clearing with a well. The well has caved in and appears to have been covered up by someone. Morgan smiles and points. "The treasure is under here." Thomas looks at him confused. "It's buried under the well?" Morgan shakes his head. "No, it's beneath it. We have to go inside the well and walk through a small tunnel it covers to get to the treasure. Now let's start digging!" Thomas and Russell let out groans as they look at the Captain. They didn't pack shovels or any digging gear. They start digging with their hands. Amelia turns into her fox form and helps with the digging, she kicks some dirt up at Russell. "Hey pup careful!" He grunts as picks her small body up and moves her to the other side to let her dig there. She looks up at him with one ear down and one ear up, she then tilts her head to one side. He sighs "Its okay you didn't mean to. Just be careful." He then smirks "And aim for Eduardo." He lets out a small snicker. Amelia shakes her head at his antics and just gets back to digging. They soon finally uncover the well, which is covered in the bricks and wood foundation that had caved in. Sure enough there is a winding tunnel with what appears to be stairs underneath, just visible through a gap in the wood. Nathan, Christopher, Eduardo and Captain Morgan begin lifting all the bricks and wood out of the way. Soon uncovering the tunnel completely.

"So who's going first?" Eduardo smirks as he looks around for a volunteer. All eyes fall on Thomas. Poor innocent Thomas. "Why me?! It's dark down there!" Eduardo smirks more. "Cause it's dark down there. You gotta go first. Have fun." Russell and Nathan snicker in the background. Right behind Eduardo is Captain Morgan, who just smiles and looks at Amelia who is completely confused. He makes a shushing motion with his finger to his lip then shoves Eduardo into the tunnel. "Ow! You ass!" The crew starts laughing at Eduardo who had landed on a sand hill." They all enter the tunnel and start following Eduardo and Captain.

"They come to the end of the tunnel, which is several feet below ground, and see a chest, vials with strange translucent liquids, several scrolls, golden arm cuffs, and jewels. A giant mahogany chest with bronze metal embroidering the whole thing and three locks on it. Christopher and Russell pick up the chest and begin carrying it out of the tunnel. Behind the chest are scrolls. Captain and Nathan gather the scrolls while Thomas and Amelia gather the vials. When they make it back to the Carlito's church, they give Addie the jewels and arm cuffs. Captain insisting she and Carlito keep them. They then head to the guest quarters to rest and mourn their friend. They will immediately set sail in the morning and not spend another moment in this village or near Moldor. For now they rest and are grateful to be out of the chaos.
