I'm still alive! Hey everyone, hope y'all are having a good year thus far. I know I've slacked off on doing updated, trust me I'm not any faster at updating my other stories either, but I don't want to rush my chapters. I'm glad that this story is so popular and I thank you all. So, since I've gotten so many people asking me via message, I've dedicated this Filter chapter to Jackson and Dianna. I'm not too good at romance but I hope y'all like it.

"Well that concludes the inventory on the second floor." Dianna sighed, setting down her clipboard. Moving over to the edge, Dianna looked up at all the other floors high above her.

"Uhh! I rather be on Wendigo patrol in Canada." She groaned. A soft hiss came from her feet before Shiba slithered up her owner's leg and up to her shoulders.

"I'm sure you rather not be outside in the cold. " Dianna stated, smiling at her snake. "Let's call it a day, girl, I'm sure it's dinner time."

Dianna exited the closet, kicking the small door to her warehouse shut. The house was dark and silent. 'Jackson must still be in his library.' She thought, looking around, and flicking on the foyer light.

Catching her reflection in a mirror, Dianna approached it. She winced as she

traced her fingers over the revisable scars.

" Shiro's not going to be able to redo my tattoos till these these heal." Shaking her head,

Dianna turned down the hall heading to the kitchen.

But something caught her attention. There was an orange glow coming from where the kitchen was, plus a wonderful aroma of food. Stopping in the doorway, Dianna held back a gasp. The table was set for two, her favorite food prepared, a small bouquet of sunflowers in a vase, and a small set of candles floating a little above the table.

"You like it?" A smooth voice asked, a pair of arms snaking around the latina's waist. "It's beautiful." Dianna replied, turning around to wrap her arms around the reaper, and engaging in a quick, but romantic, kiss.

"Shall I lead you to your seat, m'lady?" Jackson teased. "I'd be honored, sir." She replied, giving a chuckle. Taking her hand, Jackson lead Dianna over to the table, pulling out a chair for her.

"I thought you'd still be working. When did you have time to set this up?" Dianna asked, accepting a glass of wine Jackson had just poured. " Time is an illusion, Dear. " He replied, taking the seat across. "Cheers."

Tink!

Throughout the dinner, Dianna constantly caught Jackson looking at her. "What? Do I have something on my face?" The reaper's smile widen. "No, actually. It's been along time." He replied. Dianna made an "Oh.." face before reaching up her hand to her face. "It has...at least 50 years." She mused.

"Almost 75 years together. You know I jokingly told the guys we've been together for like two thousand years!" Jackson laughed, Dianna snorted and flicked a piece of bread at him. " You might be two thousand years old, but I'm only four hundred and ninety. " She pointed out. "Geeze, make me feel old." Jackson rolled this eyes.

"Relax, it's only spritely. " Dianna teased. The two finished up their meals and Jackson insisting on doing the dishes. " I have something else planed. Go switch into something.. Warm. I'll meet you in the foyer." He stated.

"Oh, it looks beautiful!" Dianna exclaimed.

Jackson smiled as he helped her slide off Henry's back. The two had rode to a Finnish forest, where Jackson had previously set up a little makeshift fort by the edge of a clearing. "Come on, there is a barrier around to seal in the warmth." He said, leading her in. The fort mostly consisted of many pillows and blankets with half of a tarp underneath them and the other half coming up to create some cover from behind.

Looking around, Dianna could see Jackson had also added some fairy lights to the inside.

"Hot Chocolate, my dear?"

"Thank you." Dianna said, accepting the cup and setting up against some pillows. Jackson poured himself a cup, closed the thermos, and moved next to Dianna. Cuddling together, the two looked up to the sky as the lovely Aurora Borealis.

"The lights are so much more beautiful when they are natural. " Jackson commented, moving his arm around Dianna. "Agreed. " She sighed. "It's times like these that I wish I could immortalize. They make me feel...human." Dianna mused. " We really are old." Jackson added. The two shared a laugh before settling down into silence.

"I have always wondered what it would be like if we were human." Dianna spoke up again, shifting her position so as to be lying down with her head in Jackson's lap.

"We?"

"Yeah...You, Me, Shiro, and Vahness. I've always wondered what kind of lives we would've had and how we may have all met. Could you imagine?" She asked. Jackson stayed quiet, his hand has unconsciously gripped the pillow closes to him. "Jackson? Are you alright?" Dianna asked, sitting up.

"Hmm?! Oh, yeah, I'm fine. Work just has my mind all clustered is all." He stated, trying to brush it off.

"It's what I said. My apologies."

"No, no, don't be. I like hearing your thoughts. I've often thought about it as well, it's just I start to think of my friends from when I was alive." Jackson admitted. " Even if there was a way to be human, I don't think I deserve i-"

"Stop." Dianna cut in. "You need to stop thinking like this." She said. " I know what your friends meant to you, I know how much you wish they lived longer, but I'm sure they wouldn't have wanted you to beat yourself it. "

Jackson looked over, giving a small smile.

"Plus, as you say, there's always reincarnation. You'll see them again."

Jackson pulled Dianna closer and brushing her hair back. " In time."

"Move this over here."

"That doesn't go there."

"Quiet, you wanna wake her up?"

"Where should I put this?"

"You guys make so much noise!" Dianna shouted. The voices silenced as she sat up and stretched. "Looks like someone had a fun night." Shiro stated, letting out a chuckle. "I probably got more pleasurable action than you." The latin spirit replied, pulling on shirt and shorts on. Getting up, Dianna noted Jackson had extended the barrier of warmth to include part of the clearing.

"Umm?! What is all this?" She asked. Before her Jackson, Shiro, and Vahness had set up a small picnic, several lanterns being the only light.. The aroma of warm food filled the air, very much contrasting the cold that was just outside the barrier. "Well isn't 's your 'birthday'." Jackson smiled. Dianna gave a chuckle. "Oh honestly, of all things."

After breakfast everyone packed up to go hike up the nearby mountain before the sunlight faded. . On the way they of course stopped to enjoy the snow. Jackson and Vahness competed in a quick snowboarding contest. "WINGS ARE CHEATING!" Jackson had shoute as Vahness landed. And Shiro and Dianna bested them in a skate off. all in all it was a wonderful day.

"So how old would you be this time? Your physical age included." Shiro asked, letting her legs lean over the side of the clift. . "Still younger than you. Ms, I'm-Almost-A thousand. Dianna stated back. "Hey! You wished you looked this young." The asian island spirit retorted.

"Ladies, ladies, settle down. It could be worse." Vahness interjected. "We could be in our 2 thousands." She pointed out, Hermes twittering on her shoulder. " WHAT'S THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN!" Jackson shouted, almost spilling his beer. "Nothing, Old man." The girls laughed as Jack grumbled. By this time, the sun was starting to set and the natural aoura was lighting up the sky.

"It's so good to be able to spend time away from the world together. Thanks you guys, I love you." Dianna thanked, bring in her friend for a hug. " We love you too." Shiro and Vahness replied, Jackson just quickly pecked her on the cheek. The four stayed together, looking out over the scenery, for a little while longer.

"We should get back to patrol. There a big storm to arrive in Winnipeg" Vahness explained, getting up to stretch. "Have you run into anything nasty yet? " Dianna asked. "Not yet, but Winter isn't over." Shiro stated, Yuki poking his head out of a pocket. "We'll try to complete most of our work by the middle of December. " Jackson assured. "Then we'll be off. Take care you two." Vahness said, sprouting her wings as Shiro turned to flower petals.

Again, the couple was left alone. "Tell me something Jackson." Dianna began, looking over to her long time partner. " What prompted you to plan such a party for today, we've never really done anything for the day I became a spirit. So why now." She asked. Jackson bit his cheek. "Can't I just do something special for once and it just happen to be today?" He stated, trying not to sound so sarcastic.

"Don't think I don't know you." Dianna sighed. " It's cause you're worried about everything that's been happening , isn't it?"

Silence.

"I...I almost lost you...all of you." He shuttered. " I built that masion to keep us safe. The fact that something or someone was able to break in…. I just don't want to think about it." Arms wrapped around the reaper. "Listen to me, Octavius. Nothing, and I mean nothing will ever tear us apart. Not any force, not any spirit, not even death will separate us." Dianna stated, fiercely.

"We're bound together. You and me, forever."

Jackson looked up to her and swiftly pulled her into a kiss. " I love you , you know that."

Dianna smiled and quickly pecked him back. "You tell me every day. Come on, let's go home."

Yeah just something sweet for these two . I'm working on doing three other similar chapters for Shiro and Bunny, Vahness and Sandy, and Jack and Tooth. Any suggestions on what should happen? Either way, i'm also gonna be working on re editing several chapters. Anyway, till next time, Adieu.
