(A/N) And we are back! I really don't have overly much to say, except for thank you to Robovolcano4, who has provided me with ideas for Kurumu's future boyfriend. I'm still working out some of the fine details, but I've got most of the things down.
With that said, I now have all of the main OC's set, so I don't need any more submissions, unless you have good ideas for other things. I do like hearing your ideas, so keep reviewing!
And finally, on with the story!

Chapter 7: Gold and Silver
Michael was quite unprepared for the bombardment of questions that were rapidly fired at him the moment after he introduced himself. They ranged from a simple "Where are you from?" to the more absurd "If you had to choose either death by spontaneous combustion, or death by gradual cell annihilation, which would you choose?" to the completely random "Why did you just stand there as Jack shot Roland?!"
At this, Nekonome interrupted "Okay, enough questions, Nya~! Michael-kun, please take a seat at the empty desk in front of Miss Akashiya."
Tsukune noticed that as Michael walked closer to Moka, she began shivering a little, and she was starting to sweat. When Michael took his seat and placed his case down on the ground next to him, the case bumped into Moka's foot, and she flinched in pain.
At this, Moka raised her hand and said "Sensei, I'm not feeling very well. May I go to the infirmary?"
Nobody noticed Nekonome narrow her squinted eyes slightly, but she smiled and said "Very well, Nya~. Tsukune-kun, please escort Akashiya-san to the infirmary." Nekonome noticed Mizore frowning, so she added "And I suppose Shirayuki-san can help as well."
When the trio left, Michael raised his hand and asked "Sensei, may I go to the bathroom?"
Nekonome narrowed her squinted eyes again, but then she smiled and said "That's fine Michael-kun. Try not to take too long, Nya~."
Michael grabbed his cylindrical case and left the room.
Meanwhile, while they were walking to the infirmary, Tsukune noticed that Moka had stopped shivering and sweating. He pointed this out, and Moka said "I know. There's something about that transfer student that makes me uncomfortable when he is near me. I don't know why."
The trio suddenly heard the sound of someone running behind them, so they turned and were surprised when they saw Michael running down the hall towards them.
As he ran, Michael tossed his case up slightly, and it was engulfed in a bright flash. When the flash went away, the trio saw that Michael was now holding an ivory staff that had gold embroidered on both ends.
With the distance between them now closed, Michael jumped and swung his staff at Moka. Fortunately, a wall of ice appeared in front of her, stopping the staff. Moka turned to the side and saw Mizore in her monster form, who then raked one of her ice claws upwards in the direction of Michael, causing a wall of diagonally pointed icicles to erupt from the ground and grow quickly towards Michael.
Michael yanked his staff out of the ice wall, and jumped backwards to avoid being impaled. Now given a moment to speak, Tsukune angrily asked "Why are you attacking Moka?!"
Michael responded by saying "I'm doing this to help her. Now stay out of my way."
"How would hitting her with a staff help her?" Asked Mizore coolly.
Michael sighed and said "I wasn't actually going to hit her with my staff. I was trying to do what I needed to do quickly so that some of my secrets wouldn't get exposed, but since that didn't work, I'm going to have to expose myself a little."
Michael then held his staff in front of him and proclaimed "Holy weapon Scion, release! Glyph number five, CĂșchulain, the Impure!"
The staff flashed brightly again, revealing itself to no longer be a staff. Now it was a segmented Ivory baton, with the final segment being a gold spike in the middle of three slightly shorter ivory spikes.
Now equipped with his new weapon, Michael made a straight lunge towards the center of Moka's chest.
"Too slow."
Michael was stopped just short of Moka, as both his entire arm and his weapon were securely frozen in place by a large wall of ice.
Michael sighed again and said "I suppose that I probably shouldn't have done all of this without your permission, but Akashiya-san would not have been able to be near me if I didn't do this. Extend, CĂșchulain!"
Suddenly, the final segment of the baton broke through the ice and the golden spike pierced the jewel on Moka's Rosario.
The jewel shattered, and a whirlwind of youki erupted from the Rosario, only to move towards the baton and be absorbed by it. Moka then fainted and started falling, but Tsukune caught her and set her down on the ground.
Tsukune then turned to Michael and questioned "What did you do to her?!"
"I erased the source of her discomfort." Answered Michael calmly.
Mizore then interjected "How was her seal the source of her discomfort? And what are you anyways?"
The conversation was interrupted by a voice below them saying "Uhg...my head..."
Everybody looked down and were shocked when they saw Moka. Her hair was now a beautiful mix of pink and silver, and she now had heterochromia. Her left eye was green like her outer form, but her right eye was a deep crimson, like her inner form. Both eyes had slit pupils.
"Are you all right?" Asked Mizore.
Moka got up and responded "I feel fine. Good, even. My mind feels clearer." She then turned to Michael and asked "So what exactly did you do?"
Michael sighed again and answered "That Rosario had a true demon's youki inside it, and that was what was causing your discomfort when you were around me. I suppose that I should show you why now..."
With that said, Michael's body began glowing brightly, and when it died down, Tsukune gasped and Moka said "Yeah, that makes a lot more sense now."
Michael was now standing in a pure white tunic, and he had large, white feathered wings emerging from his back. He also had a glowing gold halo floating above his head. His weapon Scion was back in its sealed staff form, and he held it in one hand. They ice that had imprisoned him had also melted.
"Hmm...so you are an angel." Said Mizore nonchalantly. "But that doesn't explain why the Rosario was reacting. Vampires are classified as undead, not demons."
"If I had to guess," inputed Moka, "whoever made my Rosario was a demon. And if I had to guess as to what happened, I would say that the maker's youki was forcefully removed from my Rosario, causing a number of things to happen. The best way to explain it would be to say that my inner and outer selves have merged, so now there is only one Moka." She then focused on Michael and said "You probably could have discussed what you just did with me before doing it. So I have two things to say to you. Thank you, and KNOW YOUR PLACE!"
As she said this, Moka dealt Michael a fierce roundhouse kick to his stomach, sending him soaring through the window next to them and out about a hundred meters, where he hit the ground and dug a fifteen meter trench in the earth with his body.
"Huh...so I was right." Said Moka with a smile. "I really do have more power than before." She then turned back to Tsukune and Mizore and said "All right, problem solved. Let's head back to class."
There was a sudden gust of wind, feathers, and glass as Michael burst back inside through a different window before landing, sighing, and saying "I suppose that I deserved that. Thanks for holding back a bit though. Healing any more than several broken ribs and a broken neck is a pain even for me. Takes up too much energy."
Moka turned back to Michael and responded "You're welcome. I have a new opinion of you though, Michael-kun. Taking that hit and immediately coming back is pretty impressive. I think we'll get along just fine."
Michael smiled and said as he reverted back to his normal form, "Please, just Michael. My name doesn't go well with Japanese honorifics. Let's get back to class. Sensei told me not to take too long, and there is something about her that makes me want to listen to what she says."
When the four of them arrived back to the classroom, they were met with a raised eyebrow from Nekonome, and a large amount of muttering from the rest of the class. Nobody asked any questions, but it was really easy to tell that something had happened between the four of them.
When they sat down, Moka raised her hand and asked, "Sensei, is it ok if I switch seats with Michael? He's sort of hard to see around."
"That's fine, Nya~! So long as Michael-kun is ok with it." Answered Nekonome happily.
"I suppose so." Responded Michael. "And as a general request, could people please address me without honorifics."
They switched desks, and the class continued on without interruption.
When the school day finished, as Tsukune and the others started heading out, Nekonome called out to them and said "You guys go ahead to the clubroom. I'll meet you there after I have a little chat with Michael, Nya~."
The trio hurried out of the room, and headed towards the clubroom. When they arrived, they found the room empty, but there was a note on a desk. Tsukune read the note aloud:
New Club Members,
I forgot something in my homeroom. Make yourselves at home until I get back.
-Club President Morioka Ginei
The trio shrugged and began waiting. A few minutes later, the door opened and a black haired, headband wearing male stepped in carrying two bouquets of roses. He introduced himself, saying "Sorry about that. Let me introduce myself. I am the newspaper club's president, Morioka Ginei." He then handed both Mizore and Moka a bouquet each as he asked "And who might you two beautiful girls be?"
Mizore took the bouquet, froze it solid, and handed it to Tsukune, saying "Here are some roses as thanks for the date, Tsukune-kun. I'm sorry to say that I've re-gifted them, but they should stay frozen for about a month.
Tsukune smiled as he took the frozen bouquet and proceeded to set it aside as he said "Thanks, Mizore-chan. I'll put them in my room later."
Mizore then turned to Gin and said in monotone, "Ah, I'm Shirayuki Mizore. And this is Aono Tsukune. We are pleased to meet you."
"And I'm Akashiya Moka." Added Moka, who then opened a window and tossed her bouquet out.
Gin frowned and muttered "Tough crowd."
Moka heard this and said, "Nah, we just don't like dealing with womanizing perverts. Haiji-sempai already told us about you, dog-breath."
At this moment, the door opened and both Michael and Nekonome stepped in, although Michael had three long claw marks across his face.
Moka laughed when she saw Michael's face, and she playfully asked "Hey Tenshi! What happened to your face?"
Michael sighed, both at the nickname and his recent memories, and said "Long and somewhat embarrassing story short, I was drafted into this club as punishment for, and I quote, "Quite a bit of property damage, Nya~." Oh, and also for "Making me break one of my promises to Nyakasha."
Moka suddenly felt a strange sense of nostalgia at the name "Nyakasha", but she couldn't place the reason. She shook off the strange feeling and said "Well Tenshi, looks like you're stuck with us. Although, this really is the only "normal" club in school, so maybe you got lucky." Moka then turned back to Gin and said "This is Michael, sempai. The four of will be in your care from now on."
Gin sighed and said "Alright then, I might as well get down to business. This is the newspaper club. We are responsible for making and distributing the school's newspaper. When it comes to the paper's content, make it truthful and interesting, but without bias. Crazy stuff happens every day at this school, so there should be no shortage of content. The newspaper prints once a month, at the end of every month normally, but if something big happens, we will print a surprise issue."
Gin then examined the four freshman one at a time, and then looked at Tsukune and said "Alright, as for your individual jobs, Tsukune, you'll be in charge of the actual writing of the paper. I can tell that you are the type of person who prefers to be in the neutral stance, as well as the type who is good at seeing both sides of the story. We'll bring information to you, and you get to sift through it and choose what goes in the paper. Although if you happen to find something on your own, feel free to add it in as well."
Gin then shifted his gaze to both Moka and Michael and said "You two will be our primary investigators and interviewers. You both are headstrong and focused, as well as extremely physically capable, so you are perfect for those jobs. Find things that are going on, and observe while taking notes. Talk to people about things, and get their side of the story. Both of you should have no problem with that."
Gin then reached into his pocket and pulled out a digital camera that he then gave to Mizore as he said "Finally, Mizore-chan will be our primary photographer. You've been making your presence fade in and out the whole time I've been talking, and that skill is great for a photographer. Capturing people's reactions while they don't know that you are there is the best way to avoid bias in pictures, so try to remain hidden. On a side note, bring that camera with you everywhere. Things can and will happen at completely random times, so being prepared is really important."
"And as for myself," finished Gin, "I'll do a little bit of everything, but you won't notice me much. Any questions?"
The four freshmen shook their heads no, so Gin said "Alright then, this clubroom is now yours. Anytime the school is open, this room is yours to come and use whenever you want. Also, since today is the first day, I'll let you loose to wander the school. Get to know the lay of the land a little better. Now go on, shoo!"
The four shrugged, and then left the room, with Tsukune lagging a moment to pick up his iced bouquet. When the door shut behind them, Nekonome turned to Gin and meowed "You took that a lot more seriously than I thought you would, Nya~."
Gin walked over to a window and opened it, then climbed into the windowsill. He said "I wasn't going to take this seriously at all. But I couldn't help but be reminded of her through the actions of Moka-chan and Mizore-chan. I figured that she would want me to take my job as president seriously." He then jumped out of the window.
Nekonome smiled and thought to herself, "So he still holds San-chan dear to his heart."
The next few weeks passed quickly for Tsukune without much incident. He and Mizore went on a few more dates. Their most intense one was when they went on a picnic, only to almost be killed when Michael suddenly came out of nowhere and smashed into the ground right beside them at around 100 miles per hour, digging a large trench right next to their picnic blanket. When he unearthed himself, he explained to the startled couple that he lost a bet with Moka and was forced to be her training "partner".
Tsukune was enjoying his current life immensely, and when it came time for the first newspaper to be distributed, all four of the freshmen in the newspaper club helped to pass it out at the entrance. It was an enormous success. Between Moka and Mizore, there was no problem in drawing in the boys, and Michael was always swarmed with girls. But what surprised Tsukune a fair amount was that, although nowhere near the level of Michael, a decent amount of girls requested the newspaper from him with flushed cheeks and shy eyes, although most of them knew that he was Mizore's property, and that they should keep their hands off of him.
After school that day, the newspaper club were having a party to celebrate their success, but what they did not know was that deep in a dark corner of the academy, a person read their newspaper, only to toss it over his shoulder where it suddenly ignited and burned to a crisp. This person muttered to himself "So they are back again, are they? I would have thought that they had learned their lesson after last year. This time I will have to burn them out of existence. Permanently."

And that's a wrap. A lot of stuff happened, but the primary thing is that Michael messed with Moka's Rosario. In a brief synopsis, what basically happened is that inner and outer Moka fused. However, her Shinso blood has not awakened. Yet. Her memories will gradually return, and when they fully do, then her blood will awaken.
About Michael's weapon, Scion, it is a very versatile weapon that pretty much everything about it is a reference to a one of my favorite games, as well as the only game of that series that I can proudly say that I've beaten the main story of.
Oh, and I don't want to hear any complaints that Moka is overpowered. She does have a scary amount of pure strength, but in the manga, so do all vampires. Their race is S ranked after all. Also, if she fought Michael and they both went all out, Michael would win by a long shot. The only thing that I would be okay with hearing is that his weapon, Scion, is OP. Because it really is. But it does have its restrictions, and those restrictions really make it a lot more balanced. But it is going to be a lot of fun writing about what it can do when the time comes.
By the way, Tenshi means angel in Japanese. The reason that this is actually a nickname, is that since they are speaking Japanese in reality, they make the full Japanese pronunciation of the English word to describe his race. Moka throws that out the window and calls him the Japanese word for angel.
Anyways, until next time,
