Anna wiped her eyes as the bouncing around from the horses awoke her.

"Papa!" Anna said drowsily, a newly permanent white streak dancing in the air. Waking up, as usual, brought miniature, delicate snowflakes from her small palms. Another platinum blonde streak began to resurface at the recognition of Anna's powers, when she giggled, more energetically, "I look like Elsie again!"

"Silence, Anna." Her father said, holding Anna's hands, as if to hide the monstrosity. "Don't let Mama or Elsie know you're up. Go back to sleep right now."

"Are they… Are they in trouble?" Anna said, tears threatening to fall.

"They always are." Her father said, face void of emotion. "That's why they cannot know. Elsie's powers are strong enough to see, but she needs to learn how to control."

The ginger began to resurface over the blonde. "But why do I need to sleep?"

"Do as I say, Anna." Her father said angrily.

"My magic's not strong enough, but I can control! You already said I can't show my magi-" As her voice slowly raised, The King of Arendelle placed his hand on the protesting girl's forehead. Frost slowly appeared out of the King's palm, softly spreading on Anna's temple. No longer capable of handling the cold, Anna closed her eyes.

Making somebody unconscious with light frost was always an important skill, but it was forever heartbreaking to watch. "Goodnight, Anna."

Her father had to do this. The Kingdom of Arendelle needed one 'powerless' Princess if Elsa went insane, like most Royal Family members of Arendelle had. Most people just couldn't hold the beauty of ice in their veins, and the King was one of the first to completely conceal his magic at all times, with his fantastic motto. If Elsa did go mad, the magical prison for all Royals were in the lowest chambers.

It was last used over three decades ago…

Nobody could know Anna had magic.

When Anna's heart was frozen, the persuaded mind reminded her of the past. Anna's powers resurfaced suddenly, but the memories took months to recover.

When Anna had remembered, the Kingdom of Arendelle was in pure shock.

Anna had never felt more betrayed.
