Summary

What if there's another digidestined? Meet Miu Yagami, a naive, innocent and eccentric 7 years old girl who went to the digital world with the other digidestinds. Jpin her as she and the other digidestined try to save their world and digital world from evil! (Has a bit elements of Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha and Shugo Chara)

This fic will follow the Japanese animation names, scenario and dialogue, but will also used some of the terms from the english dub (ex: digivolve, digidestined etc)

Miu was used to strange things. As weird as it sounds, strange things always happens around her. It may have something to do with what kind of profession her family have or maybe it's because Miu herself is such a strange girl that strange things were bound to happen around her. So, she was not surprised to see a snow fall on her summer camp.

The messy haired girl looked at the snow with curiosity. Gods know what that girl was thinking as whatever she was thinking is not something a normal person would thought of. Miu then stick out her tongue, try to catch the snow that fall with her tongue. Why? Because she simply think it would be fun and interesting. Oh, and also because she's curious how snow would taste like. She pouts in disappointment when one snow missed her tongue.

"Aww… That's not fair. Snows are hard to catch." She said. She then blinked as she felt that the wind is getting stronger.

"Woah… a blizzard came during summer? Suggoi~" She said excitedly. "Ah, but if the wind is this strong I should have brought a jacket with me." She paused. "And maybe a parachute too or something like that? The wind is strong enough that we could fly." She said to no one in particular.

"Miu-chan! What are you doing?! The blizzard's coming, come here quickly!" A girl with orange hair and tan skin that wear a funny blue hat (Miu thought the hat is interesting though, and make sure to remind herself to ask the older girl if she could borrow it) run up to her quickly, grabbed her hand, and lead her to a wooden cottage not far from where she's standing.

Entering the small cottage, Miu saw there are six other people besides her and the blue hat girl.

There is a boy with wild spiky hair and he has a blue goggle. Miu knows who this person is, she is her cousin, according to Hayate. If Miu remembered correctly, his name is Yagami Taichi and he has a younger sister called Yagami Hikari who couldn't join the camp because of high fever. Miu have met them before this but barely actually talked to them and most of the time, it was simply because none of them actually understand her blabbing. Miu understand that and didn't force them to understand her.

There is also a boy with cool haircut and green clothes, sitting next to a younger boy who looks to be her age. The younger boy also wear a green colored clothes with same color hat. Both of them has similar features and same blue eyes so Miu concluded that they are siblings.

Next, there is another girl besides her and the blue hat girl. Just by looking at her, Miu could see immediately that she likes pink or other colors that close to that one. She wears a funny pink hat and red dress (Miu wonders why would she wear a dress to a summer camp. Wouldn't it be hard to move around?).

Then there are two other boys. One is tall with dark blue hair and wear a glasses, he looks really frantic because of the blizzard, keeps on muttering how it is impossible to snow in summer and how the blizzard is ridiculous. The other boy is shorter with red spiky hair and orange shirt. He has been trying to get his computer to work since Miu nad the blue hat girl got in.

They wait for several minutes and when they heard the blizzard has stopped, Taichi opened the door.

"Finally over. Woohoo!" He said excitedly as he went out of the small cottage to play in the snow.

"Wow, it's snow!" The green hat boy said excitedly as he too went to play in the snow.

"Oi, Takeru, be careful!" The older blond haired boy said to his younger sibling (who Miu just found out his name is Takeru).

The blue hat girl shivered as she hugged herself to keep her from the cold. "Brr it's cold. Isn't it supposed to be summer?" She wondered as she went out of the cottage too.

"Let's hurry and find the adults. We can't stay here for much longer—" The blue haired boy try to tell the other but was cut off by the pink hat girl "Wow! How pretty!" she exclaimed and went out also.

Miu joined them outside but instead of playing with the snow, she pick up some of it on her hands and lick the snow. She made a face.

"Eeeh… It's cold…" She pouted. She heard giggles and turned to see the green hat boy, Takeru, laugh at her.

"Of course it's cold, silly. It's snow." He said as the matter of factly way.

"Umu… I know that. But I thought it would be sweet like ice cream." She said.

"Well it's more like shaved ice without the syrup." He said.

"Shaved ice?" Miu asked curiously.

"Yeah. You haven't try it? It's really delicious, of course you have to add syrup to tho, otherwise it won't be sweet. Ah, my name is Takeru. Takaishi Takeru." The boy said as he gave his hand out to her for her to shake.

"Ah, introduction. Umm, my name is Miu. Yagami Miu. Nice to meet you Takeru-kun." Miu said happily as she shakes Takeru's hand.

They turned around when they heard the others exclaimed and there, up in the sky, they saw something that shouldn't have been able to be seen in where they are now.

"Wow! How pretty!" Takeru said as he joined the others to watch the light display on the sky. The Aurora. While Miu only stand where she is and looked at the light in confusion as what she knows is that you can only be able to see Aurora in the north pole.

"Koushiro! Come here quickly!" Taichi called for the only one among them who is still inside the cottage. The red haired boy, Koushiro, went out of the cottage to see what's all the ruckus is about and when he saw what the others see, he make the same confused face as Miu.

"That's…" Koushiro trailed of

"Aurora…" Sora answered.

"This is the first time I see it." Taichi said, still in awe.

"It's cool isn't it? Miu-chan?" Takeru said excitedly.

"Uh yes… But umm… oh?" Miu blinked when she saw some kind of green portal in the sky. She titled her head in confusion.

"Ano… minna?" She speak up, making the others look at it.

"What is it Miu-chan?" Sora asked.

"Uh… Umm… I think…." Taichi, who in the first place did not have enough patience to wait for Miu to finish her sentence – since she is talking oh so very slowly – looked up to see what exactly the pink haired girl is looking up and his eyes widened when he saw the green portal and was even more surprise when the portal shot several lights at them.

"We should run…" Miu finished her sentence, a little bit too late. The lights fall on each of them and explode and the children try to covered themselves from the explosion. When it's over, Sora quickly checked on the others, asking if they were hurt and thankfully no one seemed to get hurt.

"What was that?" Joe asked.

Koushiro looked at the spot where the light fell.

"A meteorite?"

Suddenly, a light shine from the hole that was created by the explosions and from that light came out a little device that was floating towards the children. Each of them grab the device and looked at it with confused expression.

"What is this?" Sora wondered out loud.

"…It doesn't look like to be a cellphone…" Miu said confusedly. Before they can actually figured out what device is it, out of nowhere, green wave suddenly shot up and some kind of force were scooping them into the wave.

"Miu, Miu~ Wake up~"

Miu yawned and turned. "Five more minutes…" She complained.

"Oh come on, wake up." She felt something jumping up and down on her and she yawned again and opened her eyes, revealing her violet orbs. The first thing that she realized as she sat up is that she is no longer surrounded with snow and it's definitely a completely different place than before.

"Finally~ Good morning~"

Miu blinked and looked down to her lap. A strange yellow creature that resembles a fox with big blue eyes was looking at her with curiousity and for some reasons, the creature looked very pleased and happy to see her.

"Good morning." She said. "Oh… A talking stuffed animal?" She asked curiously.

The creature giggled.

"I'm not a stuffed animal, silly. My name is Viximon. It's a pleasure to meet you." The creature, Viximon, said happily.

"Nice to meet you too Viximon. I'm Miu. Yagami Miu. If you're not a stuffed animal then, what are you?" The pink haired girl asked curiously.

"I'm a digimon. Digital monster." Viximon said, as if that's explaining everything.

"Digital monster? Humm… I don't know what that is… But you're very cute." She said as she hugged Viximon. Just then, another creature came to them. It's a light pink creature, almost white, with antenna and four legs and big black eyes.

"Ooh! Takeru, Takeru! Come here, hurry, hurry!" The creature called out.

"Another digimon?" Miu wondered.

"Yep. That's Tokomon." Viximon said, then jumped out of Miu's arm to greet Tokomon.

"Aww~ All digimons are cute." Miu said. Just then, Takeru and Yamato ran up to them. Yamato was holding a round creature with orange and white color and it has no legs but it has a black horn on its head.

"Ah, Takeru-kun~"

"Miu-chan! Ah, so Miu-chan has one too?" Takeru asked curiously.

"Uhuh, her name is Viximon. And she said she's a digimon or something like that." Miu explained. Suddenly, Tokomon and Viximon, who were playing around while their human partners talked, stopped playing as they sniffed something in the air.

"Oh!" Tokomon gasped and run to the bushes, Viximon following after him.

"Ah, wait! Where are you two going?" The creature on Yamato's arm asked.

"I smell other humans! Come on!" Viximon said as she continue to run after Tokomon.

"Ah! Wait! Don't run too fast!" Miu said as she starting to follow them with Takeru.

"Hey, both of you!" Yamato yelled, then growled in frustration and run after the two seven years old, holding his digimon in his arms.

They run to follow both digimons, and not long after, they heard the sound of other people talking and heart both Viximon and Tokomon called for them.

"Takeru, come here!" Tokomon called.

"Miu! Over here!"

Running through the bushes, Takeru run excitedly towards Tokomon while Miu looked completely exhausted. She is not a fan of running and her energy tends to running out fast since she's hardly exercised.

"Aww… You guys are too fast… I'm not a fast-runner you know…" Miu said, pouting at Viximon.

Viximon giggled.

Miu looked up from Viximon and see that Taichi, Sora, and Koushiro were there. There are also three digimons there. One is a round digimon with antenna. The other looked like a pink slime like creature with only both hands and the last one looked like a turnip with pink colored too.

"Woah… All digimons are cute. Are there any that aren't cute?" Miu asked Viximon curiously. Viximon giggled.

"There are some big and scary digimons." Viximon pointed out.

"There are? Like what?" Miu asked curiously.

"Well—"

Suddenly all of them heard screaming and they looked up towards the direction of the voice and Joe emerged from the bushes, looking very afraid.

"Joe?"

"H-Help me! Something strange is following me!" He screamed and stopped in front of the others as he catch his breath.

"I'm not a strange thing, my name is Pukamon!" A brown, lizard like creature said as he settled himself on Joe's shoulder, making the blue-haired teen screaming in fear while the creature laughed in amusement. Joe looked back and forth between the creature and his camping friends in confusion then shift his attention towards the other digimons beside the other children.

"Eh!? W-What are they!?" Joe asked. Pukamon then unlatched himself from Joe and joined the other digimons.

"We're digimons! Digital Monsters!" They digimons said, proudly.

"Digital Monsters?" Taichi asked as the other, minus Miu, looked at the digimons, stunned.

The digimons then began to re-introduce themselves (since some of them only know their digimon's name). The round creature with antenna who belongs to Taichi is named Koromon. The slime looking digimon belongs to Koushiro, its name is Motimon. The one that looked like a turnip belongs to Sora and its name is Pyokomon and the one with Yamato named Tsunomon. After the digimons introduced themselves, it was Taichi's and the others' turn to do so.

"I'm Yagami Taichi, Fifth grade in Odaiba elementary school." Taichi introduced himself.

"She's Sora, my classmate." Taichi said as he introduced Sora. The orange haired girl smiled to the digimons.

"I'm Takenouchi Sora, nice to meet you."

"He's also fifth grade, Yamato."

Yamato smiled. "I'm Ishida Yamato."

"This is guy here, is Jou." Taichi said as he pointed at the blue haired teen.

"Kido Joe, sixth grade."

"Koushiro from fourth grade."

Koushiro smiled. "I'm Izumi Koushiro. A pleasure to meet you."

"And… He's uh…" Taichi looked at Takeru. In truth he's never actually met Takeru before and doesn't really know how to introduce him. Luckily, the boy spoke up.

"Takeru. Takaishi Takeru! From second grade."

"Right, and this girl here is Miu. She is my cousin and in second grade too." Taichi said as he pointed at Miu.

"Yagami Miu. It's really nice to meet you." Miu said, smiling at them.

"Well then, is that everyone?" Taichi asked as he looked at Sora.

"I think we're missing someone…." Miu said, remembering the girl who wore the red dress and funny pink hat.

"That's right, Tachikawa Mimi-san is not here!" Koushiro pointed out.

"That's right! Mimi-kun from fourth grade—" Before Joe can finished his sentence, all of them heard a girl screaming from the distance. Hearing that, the group quickly run to find their missing friend with Miu of course being the one on the far back since she can't really keep up with the others but still trying to keep up. When they reached the clearing, Mimi appeared from behind a tree with a green creature with big red eyes beside her.

"Mimi-chan!" Taichi called out in relief but soon horrified when he saw a huge red bug creature emerged from behind her.

"It's Kuwagamon!" He exclaimed.

Miu looked at it in awe. "Hee… so when you said there are big and scary creature, you mean that one?" Miu asked Viximon calmly as Kuwagamon fly towards them.

"How can you be so calm at a time like this!?" Joe asked incredulously. The pink haired girl looked so calm to the point that it's scary. Kuwagamon fly passed them. The group then quickly approached Mimi who is now on her knees, looking very scared.

"Mimi, are you okay?" The green digimon asked the girl worriedly.

"Tanemon…" She whimpered.

"Are you okay?" Sora asked as she kneeled down beside the brown haired girl.

"Sora-san!" Mimi said, relief to see the others.

Her relief doesn't last long however as Kuwagamon fly back towards them. The children and their digimons run through the forest, hoping to escape from the huge digimon as Kuwagamon chased after them, cutting off trees that get in its way.

"Duck!" Yamato yelled and the children do so, avoiding Kuwagamon's attack.

"W-What with that creture!?" Joe asked fearfully. "What is up with this place?!"

"Well, it's a huge bug isn't it? Why don't we just create a huge net to catch it?" Miu theorized cheerfully, doesn't seem to be afraid of any of this strange ordeal that they were facing.

"Have you no fear?!" Joe exclaimed while the others looked at Miu with disbelieving look. Taichi was used to Miu being strange but to this time, he still find it a bit scary and tends to be weirded out by it since his cousing doesn't seem to have fear in anything and tends to make strange and odd comments on everything, even something as dangerous as this.

"So it's a no…? And I thought it was a good idea…" Miu said, pouting.

"Ah, here he comes again!" Pyokomon exclaimed as she saw Kuwagamon turned and heading towards them again.

"Damn it, does it really think we're gonna just stand here doing nothing?!" Taichi said, fed up by Kuwagamon who attacked them with no reasons.

"Taichi! Don't do it!" Sora warned, knowing that Taichi is planning on doing something reckless.

"She's right, we don't have any weapon to fight against it!" Yamato pointed out.

"We have to run!" Koushiro chimed in.

And so, they continue to run but unfortunately, they reached a dead end as they found themselves wound up at the edge of a cliff.

"Lady Fortuna is not on our side, nee~?" Miu said in a sing-a-song voice while everyone is trying to ignore her remarks.

"We can't escape from here," Taichi said after he saw how high the cliff is. "Let's look for another way!"

"A-Another way, where?!" Sora asked, but no one could answer her for Kuwagamon has catch up with them. Kuwagamon fly towards them and they ducked, making the huge digimon missed them but it turned around towards them once more.

"Now's our chance, let's run!" Sora said. Koromon gasped as he saw Kuwagamon charged towards Taichi.

"Taichi!" Koromon charged and spit out bubbles from his mouth towards Kuwagamon, but it has no effect on the huge digimon. Kuwagamon then knocked Koromon out of the way, making the little creature fell and groan in pain.

"Koromon!" Taichi yelled in worried.

Kuwagamon then headed straight for the other children, without hesitation, the other digimons charged and throwing out bubbles at Kuwagamon with Viximon turned herself into stone and spouting out poisonous gas. It had little effect on Kuwagamon though, it knocked the other digimons but lose its balance and crashed to the trees.

The children then waste no time to check on their digimons.

"Viximon, are you okay?" Miu asked as she hold Viximon on her arms, looking worried.

"A bit peachy, but I'll be fine." Viximon assured.

"That was dangerous, you know… You could get hurt badly." Miu said.

"I had to do it, Miu. I have to protect you!" Viximon said with determination.

"Viximon…"

Suddenly they heard sounds from the forest and to their horror, Kuwagamon emerged from the trees.

"It still alive?!" Taichi said incredulously. Now the children had nowhere to run. They were standing at the edge of a cliff and they couldn't take the risk to try and run past Kuwagamon because it would be too dangerous.

"Damn! At this rate…"

"I have to go." Taichi blinked and looked at Koromon.

"Huh?"

"We have to fight!" Koromon said with determination.

"What are you saying!?" Taichi said incredulously.

"He's right, that's the whole reason we waited all this time!" Motimon said as he tried to get himself out of Koushiro's grasp.

"No, you can't fight him!" Koushiro said.

"I have to go." Pyokomon said as she looked at Sora.

"You can't! Even if you combine your strength together, you guys are no match for him!"

"Even so, we have to!" Tsunomon said as he tried to go and charged towards Kuwagamon.

"Me too!" Tokomon said.

"Me too!" Pukamon said as he tried to get out of Joe's grasp while the blue haired teen tried to stopped him from going.

"Tanemon… You too?" Mimi asked worriedly. "Tanemon nodded."

Miu looked at Viximon.

"Do you really have to…?" Miu asked.

"Uhuh. We have to fight it." Viximon said. Miu was silent for a while before finally relents.

"Try not to get hurt okay? And please come back safely." Miu said as she lets Viximon down while the other digimons finally released themselves from the other children's grasp and they charged towards Kuwagamon.

All of the sudden, the strange device the children received glow and up in the sky, a black portal appear, shooting down rainbow colored lights towards the digimon, making the children gasped in surprise.

"KOROMON DIGIVOLVE TO… AGUMON!"

"PYOKOMON DIGIVOLVE TO… PIYOMON!"

"MOTIMON DIGIVOLVE TO… TENTOMON!"

"TSUNOMON DIGIVOLVE TO… GABUMON!"

"TOKOMON DIGIVOLVE TO… PATAMON!"

"VIXIMON DIGIVOLVE TO… RENAMON!"

"PUKAMON DIGIVOLVE TO… GOMAMON!"

"TANEMON DIGIVOLVE TO… PALMON!"

The light disappear, revealing the small digimons now already turned and they looked almost completely different from before. Miu looked at what happened before her in awe. On where Viximon stood, now standing tall fox like creature with sharper and smaller eyes. It has a symbol that somehow resembles yin and yang on its leg and has three fingers and claw on each hand. She also has purple sleeves which also has a yin-yang symbols on it.

"W-What…?" Taichi gasped in awe.

"Let's go!" Agumon said as he and the other digimons charged towards Kuwagamon.

They attacked but was quickly knocked down. The children gasped in worried.

"We're okay, this is nothing!" Agumon assured. Kuwagamon started to fly, but Palmon was not going to let it escape.

"Poison Ivy!" Palmon growled out as vines grow from her hands, holding Kuwagamon down.

Patamon then fly and shot Kuwagamon with a burst of air. "Air Shot!"

Next it was Tentomon, "Petit Thunder!" he yelled, electrocuting Kuwagamon.

Kuwagamon flew down to the ground, taking his chance, Gomamon glides under its foot, tripping it, making it fell.

"Everyone, stand back!" Agumon yelled.

"Baby Flame!" He yelled as he shot fire towards Kuwagamon.

"Petit Fire!" Gabumon yelled, shoting blue fire towards Kuwagamon.

"Magical Fire!" Piyomon yelled, shoting spiral green fire.

"Koyousetsu!" Renamon yelled as she shots sharpened leaves at Kuwagamon and the combined attacks managed to hurt Kuwagamon.

"Yosh! Now all together!" Agumon said and all digimons combined their attacks and blasted Kuwagamon sending him back to the forest, defeated.

"They did it…" Taichi said, still in awe. The digimons then ran back happily towards their human partners for the exception of Renamon who merely walked calmly towards Miu.

"Are you okay? You're not hurt…?" Miu asked, worried.

"I am fine, it was nothing." Renamon assured.

Miu smiled at that. "Thank goodness. You guys were great." Miu said, complimenting her. Renamon only nodded. Miu noticed that while most digimon still attained their earlier personality, Viximon's personality changed dramatically after she… transformed? Whatever it is, the digimon before her seemed to be more calm and collected.

But it's fine though, thought Miu. She is still Viximon.

Before Miu could try to talk more to Renamon, she heard something emerges from the forest and find Kuwagamon emerges from the forest.

"Taichi!" Sora yelled as she also realized that Kuwagamon is not defeated yet. Both Agumon and Taichi quickly ran towards the others, barely avoiding Kuwagamon's sharp pincers. Its pincers pierced the ground, making a big crack on it.

"Uh… I have a bad feeling about this…" Just as she said that, the cliff cracked, sending them fall into the water.

"Ah, I just jinxed it." Miu said as she and the others fell to the water below.

Author's Note:

Okay, so due to some changes and ideas popping out, I decided to rewrite this fanfiction and I changed Lucy's name into Miu, her name meaning beautiful feather. Miu still attained her strange and odd personality and as to her background, I changed most of it but some parts are still the same. In this story, Yagami Hayate from Nanoha and the Yagami siblings are distant relatives that's why Taichi called Miu his cousin and this is set after Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS in which means Nanoha and the others are grown up now, and how Miu is related to Hayate is something that would be revealed as the story goes on.
