A/N: Dear readers, I'm so sorry that it's been so long. My computer completely crapped out on me. Even after having it fixed I still have to type on WordPad. So please pardon any mistakes!

Hey readers, a personal update. Remember that freshman I complained about? Yeah, we ended up dating until he dumped me on Thanksgiving T.T I've been so sad…

As Abraxas Malfoy woke the next morning, he reached for a hangover potion. With the drink came the memories of the previous night. He'd struck his wife and she'd run. Probably to the Potters. His lord had crucio'd him within an inch of his life and he'd gotten black-out drunk. An angry tapping at his window took his attention away from the events of the night before. A large barn owl tapped at the window with a sharp beak. With a wave of his wand, the window opened and a letter was deposited onto his lap and the owl left before even being treated. Not a good sign. Opening the official letter, Abraxas's eyes narrowed.

"Lord Malfoy,

I regret to inform you that your wife, Lady Lyra Malfoy, has filed for an annulment of your marriage. If you do not respond to the letter within a week, it will be taken that you are not fighting the annulment. Should you agree to it, she will be given exactly half of your estate. It will contain the following:

100,000 Galleons per year, two properties in England as well as two properties in France.

Have a wonderful day,

Jacoby Sterling

The letter suddenly burst into flames.

The next morning, Harry rolled over to snuggle closer to his husband, only to find him not there. Panicking, he sat up and found a note telling him that Lucius had gone to the Ministry with his mother and that he would return shortly. Smiling, Harry sucked down two potions. One being a Pepper-Up and the other being a test. Should the second potion tinge his fingernails blue, it was positive. If his nails turned red, the results were negative. Waiting for more than ten minutes, he intently watched his nails slightly shift to a bluish hue. Grinning, he pulled out a piece of parchment and began writing.

Lyra Malfoy was, rather frankly, a complete mess. After the falling out between her and her husband, she had awoken early to meet with Solicitor Sterling. She needed an out before she or her son ended up dead. As she stepped into the parlour quietly to avoid waking the occupants of the house, she was surprised to see her only son sitting in an arm chair drinking coffee. His hair was neatly pulled back with a green ribbon and his clothes were evenly pressed. Looking up at his mother, he greeted her with a quiet "good morning."

"What in the name of Magic are you doing awake, darling?" Lyra questioned. It was 5 AM and summer break still. He should be in bed with his beloved rather than out here drinking coffee by himself.

"I am going with you, Mother. I refuse to allow you to go alone. I will be by your side, then when we return, I will slip back into bed, unnoticed. I left a note just in case, though." Lucius added as an afterthought. Heaving a sigh and knowing she would be unable to get rid of her blonde shadow, she nodded and walked to the Floo. Lucius was hot on her heels.

Dorea Potter jumped up with a start. Her motherly instinct was ringing loudly in her ears. It seemed strange, but ever since her boys were little, she knew when something was wrong with them. Rushing to Harry and Lucius's room, she was greeted by the sound of retching. She quietly entered the bathroom belonging to her young son. Silently, she held his shoulder-length hair as he finished retching and blindly reached for a glass of water sitting on the counter. Dorea picked it up for him and handed it to him. After he stood on wobbly legs and rinsed his mouth, his mother spoke to him.

"You are." She said simply. He merely nodded.

"I am."

At the same moment that Dorea discovered her son, Lucius and Lyra arrived home to the manor. Returning to the room hoping to find his beloved still sleeping, he instead was greeted to the sound of retching much like Dorea was moments before. He flew down the hall and into their bedroom, flinging the door open and nearly hitting his mother-in-law. Seeing his husband on the floor, he kneeled next to him as Harry looked up at him bleary eyed.

"Darling what on earth is the matter? Are you ill? We must get you to a healer love! Wib-" he was rudely cut off by Dorea's hand covering his mouth.

"That is not necessary Mr. Malfoy. We have already discovered the issue. Harry, are you able to wash yourself up? Yes? Good. I'll gather Lyra and Charlus while you freshen up. I will return shortly." With that, Lady Potter swung out of the room.

"What was that about?" Lucius asked as Harry furiously scrubbed his teeth the muggle way to get rid of the awful taste. Harry mumbled around his toothbrush.

"Come again, dearest?" Lucius chuckled. However, Lyra and the Potter entering the room prevented Harry from repeating himself.

"Son. You are ill, your mother tells me. What is the matter?" Harry gulped slightly in the serious face of his father. He muttered something unintelligible.

"Speak up dear, what's the matter?" Lyra questioned. Harry cleared his throat and spoke again.

"I'm pregnant."

Lucius's face went ashen white as he struggled to control his waning consciousness. Pregnant? Already? Silently, his mother steadied him.

"Pregnant? Are you sure, son?" Charlus questioned. As an answer, Harry held up his blue tinted fingers. The nailbeds to the tips were deep blue. Everyone knew that potion was used to test for pregnancy.

Lucius felt his knees buckle, and the world went dark.

Lyra felt her son faint before she saw it. His knees crumpled and he fell to the floor with a thump. The poor dear had gone through so much. His father threatening to offer him up on a silver platter to the Dark Lord, his parents' divorce and now, he'd be a father himself. In the middle of a brewing war.

Harry let out a cry and dropped to his knees at his husband's side, desperately trying to rouse him the muggle way. Charlus cast a quiet rennervate to reawaken his son-in-law.

As his eyes opened, he saw the crying face of his dearest, dearest husband. The husband who would now give him a child. Despite being in school, they would make it. Providing for their child would be easier than breathing. Their babe would want for nothing, neither material items nor love. He reached up and wrapped Harry in his arms, pulling him into a laying position on the floor. Everything would work out fine.

Charlus Potter did not share in his son-in-law's sentiments, and neither did his wife. While they were both thrilled beyond belief to be grandparents, they knew better. War was coming. And somehow, Lucius, Harry and the baby would be stuck inexplicably in the middle. They would protect their grandchild at all costs, even with their life if they must.

This child was the merging of two great lines. Not only would he or she be a formidable witch or wizard, they would be well cared for and loved. If only they would survive the war.
