![]() Author has written 44 stories for Kim Possible, Sailor Moon, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Naruto, Utena, and Xena: Warrior Princess. Yo! How's it going? (silly of me to ask since none of you will answer hehe) Anyway! First off, my previous title was SFF, and I have a habit of responding to it since I still use the name in other places. I'm the quirky (probably zaney as well) writer, that maybe hopefully will actually aspire to becoming a real writer. Until then, I'm just a nut on the computer at all hours of the night writing and reading. I can be a pretty bad procrastinator (which doesn't help me get some of my chapters written any faster) but I somehow manage to throw my scattered odds-and-ends together to get things done. Any questions? EDIT: Hi! Wanted to update those following some of my older stories. First off, sorry they have fallen so far behind. I am an inspirational writer and I get derailed. I do want to go back and finish them. I hate leaving them undone. But I won't lie, some are hard to get back to because I've gotten bored with the subject they're written about because I overloaded myself on my favorite characters/movies/books/etc. Sometimes the spark returns pretty quickly, but other times it's hard to get that excitement back. I don't want to write crappy chapters because my heart isn't in it. I've read those stories, some being my own, and it sucks the life out of the story. I'd rather leave it open ended than kill it with a terribly written ending or continuation. I also wanted to make a quick rant on here, as it seems somewhere along the line people got confused about what this website entails. So, if anyone looks at my profile after dissing one of my stories, here goes: One, this is a FAN FICTION site. I don't have to follow any story plot lines but my own. Meaning I can toy with the plot and characters at whim. So can all of the other writers on here. We're doing it for fun, and our version of fun might not be your version of fun. That means you don't have to read it, and honestly, that is usually what the descriptions are for. We get to tell you up front a basic idea of what to expect. That means you don't even have to suffer the first paragraph or even the single click of a mouse button. You can safely avoid wasting your time reading something you don't agree with or like. It's that simple. If you do click anyway and read my stuff, that's your problem. You can rant all you want about how much my stories sucks. It's only going to amuse me. I only pay attention to relevant and useful reviews, even if it's just a "hey, please put a warning on what kind of content to expect" in the intro. I'm all about useful critiques. Or at least, properly targeted ones. I have a nice long review that is pretty much 16 paragraphs and it's all opinion based that isn't related at all to what I wrote (after I already had multiple warnings what the story contained, which by the way, was HUMOR and not to be taken seriously). There are forums for those in depth arguments/opinions. If the Guest had a login, I would have honestly enjoyed a nice discussion about character studies for said Manga/Anime. I like character studies. But if you're going to throw such intense and thought out opinions, at least have the courtesy to let me respond. I make a point to be objective when responding to reviews, especially ones that are lengthy and/or opinionated. Otherwise, I feel like I'm free to mock you for being a troll. Second, I'm not getting paid for this. I do this on my own free time. It takes hours out of my day to write just one chapter. Hours. I have to make time to do it. I don't always have time. I have four jobs (five if you count the commissioned work I do). I also enjoy maintaining a social life, family life, and healthy amounts of exercise. I can't promise any consistent updates unless I go without sleep or ignore people or other obligations for a while. Please keep this in mind. I really enjoy writing, and I really like updating as much as I can. However, it is very challenging to do that with Life and it's complications. If you're here and you read all that, thank you. I know, as a reader myself, how frustrating it is when things die out or take forever for updates. But as a writer, I'm asking for your patience and forgiveness. It's really hard to juggle everything. I will admit I got a little too overzealous and posted some stories too soon. I should have finished others before jumping into new ones. But, that's how my mind works, how my inspiration works. I try and pin it down, but it isn't cooperative. I do review my work all the time to try and relight that spark, but it admittedly can be dead for a while. I do have plans for MIT continuation, but I hit a hard block on exactly how I'm going to word the messy part coming up. The rest will come easier after that hiccup. None of my stories are forgotten. Hopefully, soon, they will get their second wind. Thank you- SFF/UR |
