Hello, I'm thegreatfool and I'll be really honest: I don't know what to say here. I looked back on the previous profile entry I had, and it just occurred to me that the thing was not really very well written. In light of that I decided to change it...so enjoy.

My Fanfics

Really I would think that this is the only thing someone would have interest in reading about on this profile. Anyway I have seen some other writer's profiles and noticed that many who chose to actually discuss this subject list out each fanfic and describe it.Look I'm a lazy person and that looks like a lot of work to me so I'm not going to do that. I will forsake the specific in favor of the general in this case for no other reason than that the specific seems the more favorable of the two at this moment.

So about my fanfics... My fanfics one could say are pretty random. I don't just write about my favorite characters, or on the other end of the spectrum mercilessly bash my least favorite ones. I just get an idea and I write about it. Like I said in my previous posting, "there is no wrong way to portray a character, just bad execution in doing so." I mean for example, not to offend any of my readers of course, but I hate Sakura. She's annoying, kind of a doormat in the Sasuke department, and she just overall gets on my nerves. And yet I've written two NarutoxSakura pairings. I don't even like that pairing (I'm a Hinata fan) and yet I still wrote them. I think that deciding that there is nothing to write about a character just because you don't like them is just plain stupid.

I'm not sure if all of my fanfics make sense really ("Burning" I was especially worried about). Fanfiction is just like any other form of writing: it should have meaning, substance. I try to incorporate this belief into my works (well at least most of them. Fluff is really not compatible with much else), but I feel that I do fall far short. I am not a good writer by any means, and I fear that this is quite apparent in my work.

Reviews

Alright I have to say something about reviews. I like them I really do. I like to know that someone likes my work, that they got something from it. The thing is I will not ask for them. If you want to review my work go ahead, but if you don't want to that's fine with me. I hate it when writers hold their stories hostage, stating that they will cease updating until they get a certain number of reviews. You might as well beg for them. So all I can say to any person who reads one of my stories is this, "you chose." Either way I will still write, and either way I still appreciate you reading my work. I write because I love to write, not so that thousands of people will tell me how much they loved my work. That's all I have to say on that matter.
