Hi! I used to write on this site for fun but forgot my pen name so came back as pamhalpert. Most of my stories are of the Lily/James variety. I can't explain why but I absolutely love them and the Marauders. I think their story is interesting and my dream would be for JK Rowling to write a prequel about their years at Hogwarts and the original Order of the Phoenix. I know she said she wouldn't, but maybe...someday...a girl can dream can't she?

Anyway, I'm usually very busy and probably won't write a ton but every once in a while I get the itch so hopefully I will be able to complete a few stories.

I am a college graduate (sometimes I feel like a loser because I'm in my 20s and I still read and write fanfiction. Oh well, embrace the nerdiness, I say!) and I work full time as a nanny so sometimes I have all the time in the world to write and sometimes I don't have any time to write. I am a Christian and enjoy all things Harry Potter. My other book obsessions are Hunger Games, Mortal Instruments, Percy Jackson, and Mark of the Lion.

Also, if you want to read some absolutely FANTASTIC stories, I recommend anything written by three of the authors in my favorite authors tab: B.C.Daily is possibly the most talented writer of fanfiction I've ever read. She has a ton of incredible one shots but her massively huge and incredible story "Commentarius" is the one to read. If I could only recommend one story to read about James and Lily this would be it. Perfect in its characterization, plot, romance, and extremely realistic. Not to mention it is hilarious! child-of-scorpio's story "The Truth of the Heart" is the reason I started reading and writing fan fiction. She's written some really cute little one and two shots as well that are definitely worth a read. And then Wilhelmina Willoughby is just incredible. She has an epic story "Quiet Summer" that is perfect. It captures all kinds of angst and love and friendship and the way that she uses Lily's voice is just fantastic. And then she has some amazing one shots that are just so perfect. I also recommend anything that she has written. I'm not kidding, if you like my writing enough to be reading this, then you will absolutely love their stuff. It is wonderful!

Also, if you like Harry Potter and you like things that are funny, check out "A Very Potter Musical" and "A Very Potter Sequel" on youtube. Basically the funniest thing I've ever seen.

Our Moments: a never ending story in which I am continually disappointed in because in my haste I didn't bother to characterize very well, plot very well, and there is still no end in sight. But it's your basic "how Lily and James went from enemies to lovers." It's developed more into a story than I thought it would but once we hit graduation I might slide back into snapshot moments again.

A Love Story: In 26 Parts: [HIATUS] a series of vignettes about Lily and James throughout their relationship. One for each letter of the alphabet. Incredibly difficult for me to write and more difficult for me to find inspiration for. It may never be completed! Sorry!

Halloween 1981: [HIATUS] A 3-4 chapter story dealing with various characters and how they deal with Lily and James' death. It will be Sirius, Remus, and Petunia and perhaps Snape, but I'm not sure I could do Snape justice so I may or may not do him. It's pretty sad.

Downpour: A oneshot about a huge fight that Lily and James have and what it leads too. Was initially supposed to be from Snape's POV which is why he makes a cameo! (Not sure why I used an exclamation point there...I despise Snape)

Making Memories of Us: A 5 chapter countdown story. Each chapter is made up of snapshots. 5 Times James Kisses Lily, 4 Times James and Lily Lie, 3 Times Lily Hugs James, 2 Times Lily Doesn't Kiss James, 1 Time Lily Says Yes. Any unpublished chapters are subject to change.
